In mid-Oct. HP replaced a large tub w/ walk-in glass door shower, replaced cabinets, and roughed in the former shower for a closet. The GOOD: work crew was (mostly) efficient, on time, and the end product was high quality; a great improvement over former mid-2000's cookie-cutter bath. Based only on workmanship and final quality, it'd be 5/5 stars. But...the BAD...(-1 star): They didn't cap the plumbing before turning on water, so the bathroom flooded. Water dripped into basement for 24+ hours. Crew helped some in cleanup but, really?! And we got the wrong floor, but there's no way to prove it wasn't right so no -star (hint: take pics of final selections before signing anything); HP offered to replace with extra $1200 for labor, so declined ...and the UGLY...(-1 star): They broke a full size mirror that took several calls and contacts before getting a reluctant "we'll replace it"...in 60 days or so. I paid OOP to fix the messy wall (no compensation). They also 'replaced' a nice oak threshold with a flimsy plastic one that doesn't cover where floor and carpet meet, and the new floor is peeling up there. They've known for weeks about this but no follow-up to correct it. I paid for a finished bathroom; 2+ months later, it's still not. TL/DR: good quality materials and final product, but mistakes and lack of follow-up + poor customer service (-1 star) makes it a 2-star review. read more

We recently completed a full bath and shower remodel through Home Pride and, while the final product looks nice in some ways, the experience left us deeply disappointed--primarily due to the way we were treated by our salesman, Alex. First, I want to commend the installation crew. Cam and Chris were absolutely fantastic--courteous, hardworking, and respectful throughout the entire process. They worked efficiently, kept a clean workspace, and were a pleasure to have in our home. Their professionalism was the highlight of this project and the one reason this review isn't lower. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our experience with Alex. When he initially met with us, we were clear that honesty and transparency were our top priorities. He was personable and reassuring, and we agreed to the project--despite the high cost--because we believed we were in good hands. However, once the project began, things changed quickly. When the wrong tub was being installed, I raised the issue with Cam, who was responsive and helpful. But when Alex called in to address it, he immediately took a confrontational tone, spoke to me as if I were lying, and referenced a "voice recording" to dismiss my concerns. The interaction felt aggressive and belittling. Even more troubling, after that call, Alex contacted my husband at work--without speaking to me again--and told him that switching the tub would come out of his paycheck. Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, but it was also inappropriate, especially since I was the one managing the project on-site. This approach felt dismissive and, frankly, sexist. To make matters worse, the wall colors we discussed with Alex--two white walls and one grey--were not what was installed. We now have three grey walls, despite his earlier assurance that the design we wanted would "look sexy." At that point, I was too exhausted to fight about it, and the panels were already up. We invested over $30,000 into this remodel, and what we were left with was a project that doesn't match what we wanted--and a sour taste from how we were treated. Alex's behavior throughout this process was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. We had been excited to write a glowing review based on our initial meeting. But after experiencing the full process, I would strongly caution anyone considering Home Pride. The installers are wonderful, but the company's sales approach and customer care--at least in our case--were anything but transparent or respectful. read more

Did not pull required building permits. Completely unresponsive when we tried to get help with the problem when the house was being sold. 90-year-old homeowner had to pay additional thousands of dollars to resolve the problem with Regional Building in order to close on the house. read more

4/2023 Should have done this sooner! Our bathroom is 5' x 6' 3" we had to do the painting, install toilet, & Mirror. They did the shower, so call floor which is some kind of cement pad flooring and a cheap cabinet with sink. Which all together show have coast many be around $5,000. I had four contractor and one of them was my brother who came from California for a visit and told me they (Pride Bath) cheated us out of money. We paid $25,000.00. I should have double checked with someone else and I assume I was getting real ceramic title for the floor and back splash. How stupid we were. I asked the installers how much the two of them were getting and they said only $3,000.00 between the two. WOW! On their website they only show good feedback. Not the bad ones read more

Regret deciding to have HomePride replace my shower. Our original consultation appointment was from 6p-11p during the work week. There "no pressure" sales tactic includes a $2k price increase if you do not sign a contract and make a payment at the time of the original appointment. The sale person spent plenty of time telling us how excellent the company is. Craftsmen installers that have been specially trained, superior customer service, the owners of the company are invested to ensure the company maintains a good reputation. Oh yeah, let's not forget that lifetime warranty. We were told it would be a three day instillation process. 2 days to remove the old shower & replace with new Kohler shower with Onyx stone walls. The third day would be needed about 2 weeks later to install the custom frameless glass shower door. The 1st day was a 12 hour instillation day. They left about 8:30p.m. They took out the old & put in the new. We were told not to use the shower for 24 hours to allow the caulk to dry. The next day, we waited at the house all day for the glass people show up at 6:30p.m. (I'm so glad I took a vacation day). It took about 10 mins for them to do there measuring. Then informed us that the glass is only covered under a year warranty. They recommended getting a smaller glass door because it would be less weight. Too much weight with the bigger 84" door will cause it to sag and they will only come out once to adjust it. Heeding to their wisdom, we decide to go with a shorter glass door than contracted with HomePride. The next morning I was excited to use our new fancy shower, only to discover: 1.) One of our 9Ft Onyx walls had cracked. 2.) The single shower faucet valve had no hard stops. I never could figure out how to adjust the temperature it was either scalding hot or ice cold. For an added bonus, it took sixteen full 360 degree turns before I could get the water to turn off... Just my luck it was Saturday morning. The following Monday morning (December 23rd) I called HomeRide bath to report our issues. They took my information I was told that someone would call me back in 24-48 hours. Well here it is Dec 28th, and I have yet to receive a phone call about getting our shower fixed. It's starting to feel a bit like they took my money & ran. I'm very frustrated that we spent $17K on a shower we cannot use. Especially while having our home filled with extra people staying with us over the Christmas holiday. (Although it's has been a bit amusing as everyone takes their turn to experience the broken faucet handle. We will all remember the Christmas of 2024) read more

This place will send a salesman who will tell you anything you want and sell you and they won't show up for at least a few months and you get left with crap. I thought I'd already posted this here but I didn't. Here's my review from February: My wife and I have been slowly renovating the house and making it "ours." The bathrooms were really bad. We searched and talked to many companies. We got a lot of quotes and decided on HomePride. The sales visit with Adrienne was awesome. She was able to meet all of our needs and understand what it was we were trying to do. Of the quotes that we got, HomePride wasn't the cheapest. We weren't looking for cheap, we were looking for quality. There was a bit of a hiccup with communication post-sale. I don't know if it was Covid or the holiday season. We hadn't heard from them on next steps. We were able to get things ironed out and all was well. Fast forward to yesterday morning, Feb 1st. Sonya and Christopher arrived at our home to install new cabinets, sink, and shower. They called to give us an ETA. When they arrived, they introduced themselves and let us know the process for the work that they'd be doing. They'd spend 2 days demoing and replacing the old items. They would let us know where they were in the process. Other than that, we were free to live our (virtual) lives while they worked. They were off to work! The bathroom door remained closed for most of the time. We heard the bumps, bangs, and whatnot that you'd expect with a demo. At some point I heard a vacuum cleaner going. It was Sonya vacuuming my stairs and landing. Basically she was vacuuming all of the places they'd walked throughout the day. That was a really nice touch. At the end of day 1 they had replaced our cabinet and sink. They'd also removed the old shower, tile and all. They gave us instruction to not touch it due to things drying. They let us know that they'd be back the next day to finish the shower. This morning when they arrived, they brought us donuts and kolaches to say thank you. That was extremely nice of them. They didn't have to do it but they did. They worked diligently from about 8am to 5pm on the shower. What they don't know is that my wife and I LOVE the HGTV home reveals. They told us, "Come up to the bathroom in about 3 minutes, we want to show it to you." That was a dream come true. It was like our own show reveal. Beautiful work! The whole time Sonya and Christopher were in our home they were nothing but polite and respectful of us and our space. They used the garage as a base station. Both days, when they left, the garage was perfectly clean, as if they'd not been there. The bathroom itself was spotless on both days as well. You wouldn't know that they'd just done a complete remodel. I've done my own work in the house on much less and made much more mess. Thank you so much for the work you did! read more

They came on time for our appointment but didn't even want to see the project before "sitting down to talk about the project" This is a sales pitch based business more concerned about having "all decision makers present" so they can follow their script & get you to sign. They are simply a Kohler installer and not a full remodeling company. If you just need your fixtures replaced & you want an authorized Kohler distributor to do it & you want to pay top $ for that service they can help you achieve that goal. read more

I set up an appointment for an ESTIMATE to install a new walk in shower. The salesperson was courteous, on time and in this economy, I appreciated that he was willing to work. However about 10 minutes into the sales pitch I interrupted him and made it very clear that I would NOT sign a contract that night and I would want to check out the business, referrals and view in person actual materials ie: visit a showroom. The presentation was about 1.5 hours and the actual measurement was about 15 minutes. He kept on pressuring me to sign a contract and after the 4th or 5th time I asked him to leave. I never got a cost to do the work and I will not work with someone who doesn't respect me enough to listen to what I am saying. I have worked as a construction project manager commercially for 40 years and I wanted to push the easy button for this bathroom, but I will NOT have someone pressure me into signing a contract before I was comfortable after I very clearly stated I would not. read more

18 months ago we had them install a tub to shower conversion! They worked hard and did it all in about 12 hours. The Kohler Lu stone is holding up well the doors remain as pretty as when they were installed. Teak seat is used almost daily! I would have them do it again. The only negative was :We were promised towels as part of a promotion and never received them. The men who installed it had to redo part of the drain as our builder didn't do that part correctly. Charged $16,000 for 3 full walls & basin. I even got the materials that were on "sale", not the ones I originally wanted. I wanted a door, but Sales rep said not enough space for a door, which tells you how small my bathroom is. They didn't even offer me a shower curtain or rod. I wanted a new toilet and cheap flooring for about 16 sq ft. But all I got was 3 shower walls and basin. That's it. Absolutely worst place to get bathroom remodel done. Appointment cancelations at last minute same day without details lead one to believe this company may mislead prospects into work at a price that may be over inflated. Previous reviews are helpful in deciding to not continue to get a quote. Set aside 3 hours with very little concern from scheduling. I didn't actually use HomePride to remodel my bathroom, but I can say my meeting with them was really weird. Two salespeople showed up at my house and gave me their sales pitch for two and a half hours! I kept hinting that they needed to leave but they wouldn't. Finally, they offered to redo my shower for 26K and a second shower for 29k. This is for the showers ONLY. They seemed really angry when I said it was way out of my budget, yet they would not give me any prices until the end of their bizarre 2 1/2 hour "sales pitch." Homepride is a terrible company!!!! I would not recommend buying anything from this company. I spent 70k on 1 bathroom to be remodeled. The first problem would be they canceled on me not once, not twice but three times. The last one was because they had no one to come and look at my bathrooms, they said, because they had other priorities to take care of.. Like, hello, am i not important even though im spending 80k on two bathrooms. So let's get on to the PM tessa McCarthy she was extremely rude and vulgar. when I just had a few concerns about the remodel. She hung up on me 3 times. I also have all messages and voice recordings of tessa calling me some very bad names and constantly calling and harassing me about when im able to take a day off for the installation.. I don't know how you can have an employee like her dealing with customers with how she talks to people. So the bathroom was going to be a Christmas present for my 75 year old grandmother. They completely butcherd they broke my toilet and sink did not replace that they did not glue the panels correctly they always have bubbles starting to form.
