The views are wonderful, again the hosts are amazing and the sites are beautiful. Don't pass this one by!

I tried to book a couple of days at our usual spot in Homer this past weekend, to no avail. In fact…read moremost places were full. I prefer to have a full hookup site, as I have a CPAP machine, and plugging into electrical is preferable. I found 1 spot at Ocean Shore, and we'd never stayed there before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The price is thereabouts the same as where we normally stay, and with all the same sort of facilities, laundry, showers, bathrooms etc. on the map of available spots, there was only 1 remaining, and by my reckoning, it appeared to be in a somewhat desirable location within the park. By that I mean that there are some sites very close to the beach walk, and with a sea view directly out of the window, and not a view of the RV parked next to you. I had managed to score site 64, which had no other sites to one side of us - meaning we had a lovely sea view. Initially I thought there was something wrong, and that when we arrived, the camp host would tell me there'd been an error with the booking software. But such was not the case, we really did have an excellent site, with a perfect view, and very close to the beach walk. However if your objective is to be close to the showers, laundry, coffee shop etc, this is not the best one. I don't know how many times I've driven past this place on the main road in Homer. I really didn't know how nice it was. The camp host literally got in her car and drove us to our site, and she then marshalled my husband into the spot perfectly. And the sites are nicely leveled out too. The trash dumpster is very close to this site, as is the doggy doo bag station. Something I noticed at this place, is that all the occupants were very friendly. I don't see that too much in other places here. Our neighbours informed us that we were now blocking their lovely sea view (jokingly) and also, that someone must have canceled, for us to have gotten the "best spot" which I have to agree with. The internet here is superb. I'm not kidding, it's better than ours at home. Streaming media with no interruptions or buffering. This is the best internet I've ever experienced in any RV park. And it's free. Denali Rainbow Village gives you half an hour free, and then you have to pay, and it's more expensive up there than it is here, without the beautiful sea view., because you get an Alaska Resident discount down here. I was told also by our neighbours that it's usually difficult to get a spot here, because people book a year in advance. So I know what I have to do if I want to stay here next year. Really nice park with great facilities, helpful staff, and I hope to stay again

No fire ring, no picnic table, no water source, no place to park, nor easy access to a toilet. But it was $8, so whatever... But now its $20 a night, the same price as the state and federal parks that DO provide all the things I listed above and here you get nothing- no conveniences whatsoever. Hence, no one and I mean NO ONE, IS USING this campground. Why wouldn't hey when they can go literally anywhere else for the same price. IDIOTIC.

The sites were all next together so there is no privacy at all, but the view is really beautiful. There were some broken bottles and such by the campfire area, but the beach was clean. We would stay again if we decide to camp in Homer again.

Great views....we preferred it to the Spit because it was cleaner and had nicer views. My only…read morecomplaint is that the office was not open full hours.....but that may be our fault since we traveled to Alaska before the entire state opened for summer business. We were in Alaska from May 7-15 and the entier state is essentially closed until May 15. If I were to come back to this part of Alaska I would probably stay here. Its walking distance to a good restaurant (Fat Olives) and the art district in town.

Beach view: the next row up, electric hook-up so much better. Would have liked to stay on this row, but no available spaces. Beach front: no hook-ups, fantastic, beautiful views and ocean breezes. The park does provide laundry facilities, dump, water, restrooms and showers. Each space has a fire ring and a picnic table. The maintenance guy, maybe he is the owner is hustling all day keeping things clean and stocked, he does an outstanding job. The park is conveniently located to everything, all in walking distance.

The website is very deceiving as they only advertise the roughly 15 beach spots out of their like 80 spots. Each reserved area is barely large enough to fit your campers, there's no parking other than in front of the spots which means you're also parking in front of the sites next to you since they are so small. Their "fire pits" are just rusted out tire rims, some of which were broken and/or provided no airflow so the entire camp gets pretty smokey. We were told we weren't aloud to move the fire pits but our was placed all the way to the side right next to the neighboring site which some guy had a huge carport tent that took up the whole site. We had to move otherwise we would have set his tent on fire. Because everyone is so close, it's so freaking loud all the time and you'd never know you were by the ocean with how packed in everyone is. This may be a good place to go camping for your very first time since they have full bathrooms and showers you can pay to use and there's no fear of wildlife if you're scared of that. Otherwise, for real campers, this place sucks and a waste of money.

This place allows one dog per bunkhouse. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room were just steps away. Military discount. The mattresses were super comfortable. They have a firepit & firewood, barbecue grill, and a screened gazebo with a table just for cleaning fish & clams. It's located right off the highway but we weren't bothered by any road noise during the night. And they're located just a couple miles from the beach in Ninilchik so it's a prime location if you're gonna dig for clams. Highly recommended.

They could use a pull out table from the wall because there isn't a lot of seating. Two fold up chairs were under the futon. It's priced appropriately but could use some easy updates.

They have a nice clean bath house, and the shuttle bus comes to the parking lot on a regular basis making it easy to come and go from the fairgrounds. We had a great stay in one of the cabins at All Seasons Campground and Cabins. There are several…read morecabins and a duplex if you are not coming with a tent or RV. I would recommend staying here as it has a full kitchen, beds for 7 or possibly 8. We had good hot water, bathroom with tub and shower and a table to play games at. Very fun cabin to stay in for our grandson who really enjoyed having his own place in the loft with a HUGE bed. The location was very close to where our fishing charter went out of at Deep Creek Recreation Area. We took 2 day trips to Homer and enjoyed the spit and Alaska Islands and Oceans Visitor's Center. It isn't a high end place, think more of a basic cabin to sleep a crew if you have one or a few as there were just 3 of us. It is really a great place for exploring the area around Ninilchik. We loved spotting 2 mama moose with their young just down from the cabin on 2 different occasions. The owner is a wonderful host and we had a great visit with him. The campground hosts were also extremely helpful when the owner was away.
