When I expressed how I was driving all over the lower mainland picking up packets of food here and there, they said they would gather what they could from a few locations for me. I walked away with about three cases of food, which will really help me transition my old dog onto something new while maintaining her little weight. Shes picky, and the fact that they cobbled together as much as they could was honestly incredible. The manager said she would be at a few different stores and would get what she could for me. This kind of service feels rare to me. Also, knowing its a smaller canadian owned company means a lot when I am trying to shop canadian and less corporate! I will be switching to this place for sure. They go into the store, greet the staff and wait for treats when we check out . This store deserves recognition for excellent service. There has never been a day where I've gone here and not leave without a smile on my face. The staff are knowledgeable and do their best in giving advice for good dog food and other inquiries I drop on them every once in a while (most recently was the FDA dog food scare). Although the store was closing in forty five minutes she was adamant I was out in five minutes. She charged the full price. I suspect she was more perturbed because the station was already cleaned for the evening but the store was still open. I would not use their dog wash service as it seems like a huge inconveniece to their staff during store hours.

However, the staff had become very pushy and hard sale recently, simply annoying and made my shopping experience unpleasant. Not only that, the most unforgivable thing was they triple charged my mom's credit due to the error of the credit card processing company they used. After overcharging my mom for $280, my mom immediately talked to them, the staff took her information and said she will liaise to management. After several weeks, no one from Korna or the credit card processing company contacted my mom to rectify this issue. I went in on behalf of my mom, the staff even said this was a known problem, as there were multiple clients at different locations of Korna who were affected. He took down the information again, and said it will be dealt with in a few days. Several weeks passed by again, absolutely nothing! I put in a horrible FB review, so that they know this is still an outstanding issue. Again, haven't heard a peep from Korna or the credit card processing company. Two frigging months passed by, I went in again. Another staff was trying to take down our information again and asked for a copy of the credit card bill for the third bloody time. That's when my husband got upset and raised his voice, saying how unacceptable and unprofessional this is. As he started raising his voice, the owner came over and talked to us. Of course he apologized profusely and indicated that he had been fighting with the credit card processing company for weeks. He pushed over to Fidelity Payment to deal with it, and thought it was resolved. My husband of course chewed his ear off, demanded them to resolve this problem the next business day. Thankfully with the owner on site, he finally contacted the designated staff from Fidelity Payment to deal with this issue, and after two frigging months, $280 was credited back to my mom's card. Even though their store is spacious and comfortable to shop at, and the variety of dehydrated treats and raw are very appealing, I just don't think my mom and I will ever step foot in Korna again after this super unpleasant experience.  Aside from an apology, the owner didn't even think of or bother to do something to win his clients back. It's a loss to them, not us! My mom and I have been loyal customers to them, and every previous purchase was over $100 just on treats! Well, I guess we'll have to buy from other pet stores!
