That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.

We were able to get up right as the pool area was opening everyday and use the pool and the hot tub facilities typically without anyone else there at all. Even in March the pool was warm enough to swim in and the Hot Tub was just great. In the pond we were able to find a lot of different birds, a ton of turtles, and even a gator! For the final four days, the house experienced extended power outages lasting several hours. We were required to reset the breakers ourselves. Because of the electrical issues, we were unable to cook meals and incurred additional unexpected dining expenses. We contacted Wonder Vacation Homes about these issues, but they were unresponsive and offered no compensation beyond the return of our standard security deposit. The listing remains inaccurate as of today. We are sharing this experience to inform future guests and encourage Wonder Vacation Homes to address these ongoing issues.

Then once we checked out, my daughter immediately realized she left her Curling Iron. I reached out to the company and they said that they found it and they would mail it to my house. I told them I could come pick it up, but they said they would mail it so I gave them my address. Curling Iron never showed up. I've been back-and-forth with them for the last three months on text message email and phone calls. They've been giving me the runaround and excuses. Mind you I have it in writing that they found my daughter's Curling Iron. The one then described to me the Curling Iron. And it's not your everyday Curling Iron either. I finally got a hold of a manager yesterday, once he didn't find it in the Lost and Found he proceeded to tell me that they told me false information. The Curling Iron found belonged to a different guest. Which I know is baloney. Now I would've did a double check upstairs myself, But I physically couldn't get upstairs due to the accident. I had a very horny neighbor and I heard them having sex loud and clear around night time and seeing they had kids, we heard their young kids yelling and talking really loud all through the day. Didn't matter much to us because we didn't stay in the resort area but went out most of the days, but it was a bit annoying. Activities are scattered so the pictures shown are a bit misleading because Legacy resort has three locations that are not walking distance, but if you are staying in one resort, you have access to all the resort amenities for all three locations. This suggests an inability to handle guest questions objectively and a tendency to respond defensively rather than professionally. The townhouse itself is modern and nice, but not great for very small children. The owner welcomes kids and even has a high chair and plastic dish ware but the stairs are steep and uncarpeted(this wasn't false advertising, just wanted to let people know), dangerous for little legs. It would be great with older kids for sure! My review reflects the overall experience of staying at the place. The surrounding area is a little trashy. The Regal Oaks isn't really regal. The neighbors spend their afternoons fixing cars and smoking cigarettes on their stoops. They are perfectly nice but i hate cigarettes. When you walk around you notice everyone has reinforced door locks(I felt safe until i noticed that even though i have no reason to think these extra locks were needed ). And there is trash strewn around from the raccoons at night, one of which made it to the pool so the water slide was closed down to be cleaned and shocked. The pool water is a little murky looking and both my son and I developed a slight rash while we were there that disappeared after a week so it wasn't serious. We aren't sure if it was the pool or a sensitivity to detergent. The great perk is that it's really close to Disney and you can walk to "Old Town", which is also trashy but fun. There is a decent pizza place there too! If you aren't on air bnb and want to stay here, you can go directly through Regal Oaks and find different rentals there through them and don't have to worry about the air bnb process. It's perfect for older families(my father in law loved it) or young adults who want to be near Disney, a resort and in walking distance to some bars.
