We are residents in the Reflections neighborhood and visit the Storey Lake Clubhouse pool often, especially when our children are in town. Overall, we really enjoy the amenities, it's a great setup and something we value having so close to home. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were required to pay for our pass, and my husband ended up standing at the front desk for about 20 minutes because the staff member kept assisting other guests instead of completing his transaction. That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone. read more

My daughter, a brain cancer survivor with a service dog, was denied admittance to the pool and amenities. To the point that she had to call the local police to be able to use the amenities. The management had no right to deny service to her and her service dog. The is not an "emotional service animal" this is a necessary part of her daily life. She is a Disney cast member that is able to do her job with the assistance of a service animal. This challenge totally ruined her stay at this property. The property need to train their staff in the proper way to handle a situation like this without alienation. read more

Rented from Bruce at 4541 target blvd, was suppose to get VIP treatment, a heated pool, a grill and a welcome basket, because we had issues 2 years ago. We had heat in the pool, the spa didn't work, no lights in the pool, no welcome basket, no code for the grill until I asked. The back patio door is barely moveable without throwing your back out, and the patio doors never locked. We were never told what to do before leaving , and what to clean up. When we got there, we got a 6 digit code for the front door, there was no keypad, there was a lock box on the side of the door, wasn't locked which is good because we didn't have a code, but the key was in there, anyone could have came in there before we got there. We stayed at Storey Lake Hideaway Club in one of the condos which we rented through Airbnb. This gated community is very large with a lot of units very close together. As far as I can tell, each unit's amenities and niceness are dependent on the condo owner. The place where we stayed was clean but also very basic and had one of the smaller and unheated pools. The Storey Lake community itself has nice sidewalks and boardwalks you can take walks including a park area for kids to play. The community is also very clean and has a club pool which consists of a very warm heated pool, a lazy river, a splash pad, and two water slides. It also has dry activities in this area that consist of a basketball court, volleyball court, and miniature golf. You are also not allowed to bring in your own flotation devices for the lazy river, and there aren't nearly enough tubes for the number of people using it. They also have cabanas you can rent for 4 hours or all day. The prices of the cabanas are dependent on the quantity of time and the day of the week. We rented twice and the cabanas were very nice to have especially to help with the very hot sun. In addition, the club pool area also has mocktails, cocktails, water, soda, ice cream, chips, and some food available for sale. These items for sale are good but very overpriced. I purchased a hotdog with fries that cost more than a hotdog/fries at Disney World. You are not allowed to bring in your own food or drink unless the drink is formula or water. The bar/food area was very understaffed although there were plenty of employees who were standing around not working, which made for extremely long lines/waits. The Storey Lake Hideaway Club is also nicely centrally located. It's a short drive to the Disney parks and Disney Springs. It was less than an hour's drive to Universal Studios. It's also very close to a plethora of shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Storey Lake Hideaway Club and would stay here again. read more

To start off we come to Florida every year. This year we decided it's time to look for something to buy. We saw Story Lake Resort and decided to stay there see if we like it before we commit and buy. I'm so glad we did. This is the worst place to stay period. Getting into this place is a nightmare. They give you a slip with a barcode on it for gate access. There scanners don't work and you will sit there for hours while an employee watches you struggle instead of hitting the button and open the gate. The traffic backs up to the road and there is no organization at the main gate. But you have to use that gate because the gate in the back only has the scanner and no employees. You hit the call button and they don't answer. This is an every day event and we are in a slow season. Now to the lazy river complex. The lady that works there makes you sign in and PROVE Residency. Ok I understand once is ok but not every day for the entire 2 weeks. Extremely rude. So make sure you have your paperwork with you. There are only 2 pools that we can find and no map of the place. There is allegedly a third one you must drive to however with no map l we were unable to locate. One of the pools (brand new in the project/low income side, if you stay here you will agree), has no hot tub. They claim this is resort living but no hot tub, in a brand new pool build in Florida. Seems like a basic over site or lack of care. So no one uses that pool. The condo building itself is Dirty. Not to be confused with the unit we are staying in this is only for the Story Lake complex/management. Would it kill them to take a broom or mop to the common areas. Maybe add some shrubs. Two weeks we were here and not once did any employees come by to clean common areas. There is very little outside lighting on the property if you wish to stroll around after dark bring a flashlight. The walk from the new (project side) to the lazy river complex is a hike. You need to cross 3 falling apart wooden bridges with boards rotting out on all sides. I heard a father and son mention how they have gotten even worse than last year. Easy lawsuit waiting to happen. This apparently is an ongoing issue and deferred maintenance/ safety is not a priority/ concern . In conclusion, You could not pay me to stay here again. You're much better off staying at a real resort like Westgate, Sheraton, Diamond property, ect. The difference I noticed at a real resort vs here is the kindness of the employees who should always greet with a smile and not make you feel like you're not ann inconvenience. The cleanliness. And most importantly the value of your time. We are away for a set period of time and to keep people stuck in a line for an hour and then tell me it's not your fault. Well if it takes me longer to pull in the "resort" than to drive to the amusement parks it's a problem. This place is not about customer service. It's a cash grab. This place is not a resort. It's low income housing they sprinkled a lazy river on. Please keep that in mind when you spend your family vacation there. read more

We stayed at 3180 Paradox Cir. The condo was spacious and comfortable. Very clean and the area was perfect. Lots of restaurants and easy to get to Universal Studios, Disney and Sea World. The pool was relaxing and warm. Loved the view from the balcony. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again. read more

I stayed at The Casiola Vacation homes at 3131 Paradox Circle Kissimmee, FL 34746 on the second floor with the lake view. The place was nice, spacious and clean, with a full kitchen and everything you need. It was close to everything including seaworld, malls and eating places. Only downfall I would say is the people on the 3rd floor was so nosy during the night, every night, and the hot water didn't last as long. Other than that the stay was relaxing, and they even had a resort you could visit with pools, jacuzzi's, gym, games and water slides. I would recommend. read more

4573 Target Blvd - Our first time at Storey Lake and most likely the last. The pictures on the web site are not what's in the house... Many repairs need to be done from crayon marks on the walls, broken chairs, outdated furniture, dirty carpet, freezer not working. Stock up on toilet paper, salt & pepper, spices, paper towel, ice, (ice machine in fridge not working), utensils, pots and pans. Bring your own beach towels, the pool does not supply them. We even went to Target to buy towels and we left them at the house, then days later we get a invoice from the owner because she said they were stained and uncleanable.... For a $900,000 home your not getting a $900,000 stay... Pool area - we had to fill up the pool on our own, patio furniture was outdated and falling apart, needed a blower to clean the patio and surrounding area. The main pool area was what we expected, service for a drink or food was 45 - 60 min wait. The code for any gate would work maybe 2 out 10 times when you tried it. Stayed here for a week the home was very nice but the pictures did make the home look bigger than what it really was. Had the basics like cooking utensils, pots, pans but you have to go buy items like cooking tongs, dish soap, hand soap, take your own hair dryer it was not fun sharing one with three people, there was no full body mirror, we had a neighbor complain about our kids swimming there was no music playing. He told the kids to go inside because he didn't want no noise. Had two hangers in one room had to go buy some, no dresser in one room had to stack clothes on top of closet. If you want the jacuzzi warmed up you have to pay an extra cost because obviously paying a lot of money for a week isn't enough. If you need to use a grill you need to rent it out. We left the home super clean. Will not be returning. Before I booked I messaged the owner got no response but as soon as I booked and payed right away I got a response. The only good part was when I sent messages over to the resort personnel they would write back right away. The lazy rivers are cool but you do need to get there early and take your own towels. read more

This was our first stay at an AirBnb (4715 Kings Castle Circle). We were very happy with our stay here. We were in Orlando late Nov/early Dec. Total of 10 guests (4 adult couples and 2 boys: 12 years old). It was very easy to both find the location and check-in. All private rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dishes and cooking ware were meticulously cleaned. If we had any questions at ANY time, Crystal would respond within minutes. She was super accommodating. Location pictures are 100% accurate. Great location. Very close to the theme parks, and there are tons of other things to do in the area as well. Great restaurants and fun bars, amazing outlet shopping, family entertainment locations for all ages, and convenience stores a block away. Also, the kids had a great time in the water and mini golf areas right on the premises. Other reviews mentioned loud neighbors, but we did NOT have that issue. Very relaxing and quiet, we barely noticed our neighbors when outside lounging by the pool. read more

Each unit has its own pool as well. Our kids definitely enjoyed having their own pool. There is a community water park with a lazy river, ice cream shop, and bar as well in the community pool area. Staying here now!!! We have rented a house with 9 bed 6 baths! I would not come back here at all! Got here plywood on the front door the window is broken have been calling since we got here to have them fix it got here on Saturday and it's now Wednesday and still not fixed! We rented a grill got a grill that was so dirty that it started a grease fire had to call and have them either give us a new one or clean the damn thing. Pavers by the pool all sunk in laying in the pool watching the guy who came yesterday and never came back yesterday but is here today to fix those. We are getting charged for a heated pool there is no way this pool heated!! Everyday items used for cooking not available to us!! Had to buy everything!!!! We recently stayed for 10 days at storey lake. The location was close to all the Disney parks as well as target, Walmart, Sam's club, Aldi etc. I've read on many reviews about the loud parties, we didn't experience any of that. Our biggest complaint was definitely the cleanliness of the unit, if I was the owner I would follow up with the cleaning crew, better yet hire a new one. In the kitchen alone the sink smelled due to food left in the garbage disposal & lots of yuk between the countertop & sink, look up and the lights over the bar have never been cleaned & above the stove black stuff all over the cupboard. We turned off the water/ice in the refrigerator due to the mold on the nozzel/dispensor. The area rug was shag and dirty to say the least. There was broken chairs inside and outside. The pool was not filled so we filled it, it was heated and very comfortable. The only tub in the unit didn't drain well, just a heads up. We did visit the club house and were satisfied but again we didn't purchase anything but ice cream. We did notice a long wait for food & beverages though. Maybe they were short handed?? If so maybe come up with a system that benefits them & the guests?? I know this is a rental unit and many people use it but I think if I was the owner I would make updates as needed, replace carpet (maybe replace it with laminate flooring and area rugs in the the bedrooms) replace appliances regularly (the dishwasher didnt work good), provide wash clothes, provide a mop, we would have cleaned the floor if one was provided. Ik laundry soap, dishwasher soap wasn't provided but offer it with a charge & follow up with your cleaning crew regularly & you could be the rental property there that people want to rent over others. I have read plenty of bad that identify the location so people look for a different location. Overall our stay was good, would I stay there again? I would hope that the owner would take to heart the suggestions given and make improve ya & update website accordingly read more
