We are residents in the Reflections neighborhood and visit the Storey Lake Clubhouse pool often,…read moreespecially when our children are in town. Overall, we really enjoy the amenities, it's a great setup and something we value having so close to home. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were required to pay for our pass, and my husband ended up standing at the front desk for about 20 minutes because the staff member kept assisting other guests instead of completing his transaction. That was frustrating and could have been handled much more efficiently. More concerning is the lack of enforcement of safety guidelines. While some lifeguards at the slides are attentive and doing a great job, others appear distracted--on their phones or wearing headphones--and not ensuring the area is clear before the next person goes down. We've also seen ongoing issues, including children throwing rocks into the waters from the landscaping, spilling drinks in the pools, roughhousing, and tossing balls. On one occasion, a guest even had a dog in a float in the lazy river. Staff stated it was an emotional support animal, but regardless, this raises concerns about cleanliness and overall pool safety. We understand that many guests are on vacation and enjoying themselves, but for residents who pay a significant amount to access these amenities, there should be a higher level of consistency and professionalism from staff. With better supervision and enforcement of rules, this could be an even more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Story Lake is spread over a very large area as it has multiple communities. I could not find the Dog Park anywhere so I doubt they have one luckily shingle Creek regional Park is right next to it.

She is happy to reply to questions and accommodate however she can. Since it's a newly renovated townhouse everything is new, which is nice. Pots and pans aren't scratched up. The townhouse itself is modern and nice, but not great for very small children. The owner welcomes kids and even has a high chair and plastic dish ware but the stairs are steep and uncarpeted(this wasn't false advertising, just wanted to let people know), dangerous for little legs. It would be great with older kids for sure! My review reflects the overall experience of staying at the place. The surrounding area is a little trashy. The Regal Oaks isn't really regal. The neighbors spend their afternoons fixing cars and smoking cigarettes on their stoops. They are perfectly nice but i hate cigarettes. When you walk around you notice everyone has reinforced door locks(I felt safe until i noticed that even though i have no reason to think these extra locks were needed ). And there is trash strewn around from the raccoons at night, one of which made it to the pool so the water slide was closed down to be cleaned and shocked. The pool water is a little murky looking and both my son and I developed a slight rash while we were there that disappeared after a week so it wasn't serious. We aren't sure if it was the pool or a sensitivity to detergent. The great perk is that it's really close to Disney and you can walk to "Old Town", which is also trashy but fun. There is a decent pizza place there too! If you aren't on air bnb and want to stay here, you can go directly through Regal Oaks and find different rentals there through them and don't have to worry about the air bnb process. It's perfect for older families(my father in law loved it) or young adults who want to be near Disney, a resort and in walking distance to some bars.

It's always been very quiet when we have been here. I see that there are some complaints about parking, but we've never had an issue. You just need to make sure you know and follow the rules. Parking on the street is not allowed, and when you park in a driveway, make sure your car isn't blocking the sidewalk. I especially like the pool and hot tub at Bella Vida. The pool is large, with plenty of longe chairs and it has never been too crowded during our visits. It's very pretty, with palm trees and landscaping. There is a basketball court, a volleyball court, and a playground near the pool. Bathrooms and parking are available at the pool as well. I recommend Bella Vida and would stay here again.

There were a few minor issues but nothing that made it a bad experience. The resort itself had lots of parking, there was valet trash, and they had a gym in the club house - which we did try out. The gym had what you needed for a basic work out but the equipment was "well used" like the seats were loose and they made lots of noise like they seen better days lol. The community pool had cation tape in front of the entrance so we could not use that. Overall, it was a good time.

The 3 bedroom/2 bathroom was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Having a full size washer/dryer in the unit was a game changer! Lots of time at the pools so being able to dry towels and cover ups was a huge bonus. Also washing all dirty clothes prior to driving home was awesome!! If you're a daily coffee drinker, bring your own coffee and filters. There is a traditional coffee maker in the unit. The on-site Starbucks is okay but pricey. (2 black coffees $10) FYI : Super Walmart is only a 3 minute drive and also has a liquor store! Location is great. Easy drive to theme parks and Disney Springs. Pools are clean and warm. *I do wish there was a playground for burning off early morning toddler energy!* Pools don't open until 10am. Staff is fantastic! They have mini golf and zip lines, and the Starbucks by the opposite pool is the best! And so was the girl working there.

Just a couple hours before the 4:00pm allowed arrival time and even after they sent multiple private messages warning us of possible penalties and even added hidden fees they were to collect. Here is a list: --$50 if pool door is locked --$100 charge for any garbage left on pails or placed in barrels incorrectly --$90 fee to arrive an hour early --$1000 penalty if alarm is accidentally triggered. (At this point we called for details. We learned the alarm doesn't have a cover--it can be triggered by accidentally pressing the buttons. When we expressed our discomfort, we were told that if we didn't like the policy we could cancel our reservation. We begrudgingly accepted the policy.) --$290 for the dogs. This one came at about 5pm. The number of guests and our dogs were listed on the receipt. They texted privately that they realized they didn't include the charge in the price and they wanted to collect it. We texted a picture of the receipt to the Tropical Properties broker, but she refused to drop the pet charge. We were still about an hour away by car. We spoke to customer service at Air B&B and were reassured that we had until midnight to cancel the reservation, given that we had purchased the insurance offered by Air B&B. (BTW THE INSURANCE--A THIRD PARTY NAMED GENERALI TRAVEL INSURANCE--DENIED OUR CLAIM AFTER AIR B&B WALKED US THROUGH THE STEPS TO COLLECT OUR REIMBURSEMENT.) After cancellation we saw on the receipt that Tropical Properties were also planning to collect a $300 resort fee upon our arrival. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND renting any properties associated with Tropical Properties. And although our family has had many successful Air B&B experiences in the past--this was the first time we needed to file a claim through the insurance they offered. We feel the results are unjust and the insurance was a waste of money.
