One star can only be attributed to the sheer effort the executives put forth maintaining the facade. 1. They do not have staffing to care for the elderly the way they advertise. 2. High death rate. 3. Staff is let go before benefit status can be reached, ALARMINGLY high turnover. 4. Fall Risk is not a consideration, and one of the leading causes of injury leading to death in the elderly. 5. Nepotism is rampant. 6. Top heavy corporation in the business only for money. 7. Residents are NOT safe there. 8. They are not following state code regulations. 9. I cannot stress enough to stay AWAY from this facility. My family, and many others have suffered greatly.

You have to remind them so many times of concerns you have about your loved one there. It seems to me they use the dementia as a reason not to deal with you. Not worth the rudeness you have to put up with.

Both staff and residents have been totally accepting of us "odd ducks" and we have found ourselves experiencing joy and love that possibly we did not think we would or could experience again!
