Unfortunately a big miss on a large crack with poor repair job in the bathtub. We tried to use it and it immediately poured water out on to the floor. Fortunately it didn't leak down to the condominiums below us. The replacement for the tub is expensive with few places that will work on a top floor condominium choices were limited. The owner stated she knew nothing about the crack or attempted repair. Very disappointed. I had not planned on the added expense nor could I negotiate prior to purchase. Home team did reach out & offered a full refund + additional $$ but only if I signed legal paperwork saying I wouldn't discuss the issues which I believed included removing this post. read more

I've got to give credit when it's due. These guys are the absolute best at what they do. I was selling a house and the new buyers chose Home Team Inspection. It was a small 1000 square foot home and we'd only owned it for 2 years. It was in great shape and I was relaxed about the inspection. I was mortified when I got Home Team's inspection report! Twenty-two pages of meticulous detail and zoomed-in photographs highlighting even the tiniest flaw and blemish. They crawled everywhere possible, from the crawlspace beneath the house to all over the roof. There were no major issues, but the little things added up, and we ended up knocking a few thousand off the selling price to accomodate the new buyers. This is kind of a funny review, as I was the recipient of their inspection rather than the people who hired them. I've got to be honest, however, and admit that they went above and beyond, and drew the new owner's attention to absolutely every flaw that could possibly be found with the house. From a seller's perspective, I imagine any seller's realtor would issue a big (gulp!) when they see Home Team Inspection walking up the steps. From a buyer's perspective, however, this crew is a godsend. If ever I buy another house, I'll break from my realtor's recommendation and insist on hiring Home Team Inspection before I buy. Guaranteed they will find every flaw there is, from major issues to the tiniest blip. The people at this company are, without a doubt, at the top of their game. read more
