Appointments are always on time and Dr Mensing takes time after each one to personally talk to me about the appointment and answer any questions. I also really like the email confirmations that they send out a day or two in advance - there have been a couple times that I've forgotten to put the appointment on the calendar and I would have missed the appointment otherwise! The building is nice and always really clean. They have a good assortment of children's books and things to keep the kids busy, adult magazines, and a big fish tank in the waiting area. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I certainly appreciated the level of empathy that she had. I previously had my son scheduled at Apollo Dental. It was so awful of an experience that we did not even make it to the appointment. Based on the way that I was treated rudely I cancelled the appointment and called Rochester Pediatric. My son is 2 and I was allowed to go back with him. (This was his first visit.) He sat in my lap and then he laid his back in the dental hygienist's lap. Dr. Jones also did this. Their facility is brand new, my son was very interested in all of the toys that they had. I'm hoping that with time my son won't be upset with appointments. Dr. Jones was also able to give me tips for brushing his teeth. I also appreciated that the calendars weren't out four or five months out.

After her appointment she limped on her right leg for 2 days, had nightmares for a week, and panics when we talk about what to do regarding the giant hole that was left in her tooth since Dr. Flood was unable to complete her filling after traumatizing her. When asked, our very verbal 3 year old told us that no one explained what they were doing and just started putting things in her mouth. When asked if there was anything good about the experience she replied, "watching the movie before they started hurting me." Dr. Flood might be ok for older children, but I would not recommend this office for young kids.

I have had teeth pulled root canals caps and a partial done by this dentistry. Dr Sarah did two…read moreroot canals on the front top of my teeth. The first one cracked so we had to pull it. The second one broke off and there was no way to fix it so we had to pull it she left part of the tooth in my gum and did nothing about it. She pulled a tooth on my back top left and left roots in. The bottom right one she did a root canal on and a cap became abscessed three different times and the last time I went Dr Kayla pulled it. I find it very weird that her or her assistant did not notice when they took the tooth out and put it in the container that a part of it was missing. Because of the swelling and all the infection in it I could not see or tell that part of the tooth was still in my gum. I called them made a appointment and the night before I became sick. Puking and diarrhea I called and was going to tell them I was sick. No opinion to leave a message I called the morning as soon as they opened to tell them I was sick and couldn't come .they called me back and said they were not going to see me anymore because I missed my appointment. So De. Sarah did make me a partial but it didn't fit right cause I have roots in my gum and a broken off tooth were a replacement tooth was made. So I have 2 missing teeth otop in the front ,1 with a broke of tooth stuck in my gum, and roots on the top left were my partial is suppose to fit, but sont because of these issues. And then the bottom right that was a root canal then capped then abscessed 3 times and it was pulled and left part of my tooth off and didn't even give me pain pills or antibiotics, and had to go see my family doctor 3 or 4 times .enough said DO NOT RECOMMEND
