In the parts and service departments were all very helpful, they even have a machine shop. When it was time to depart, a wind warning came into play so they set us up for the night. Helped me tie off at the slip. First class service ALL the way. If you are headed up or down river and need service, this is the place. They also have a great mexican restaurant on site where we ate two meals, food was tasty and plentiful. Neither of us could finish our dinner.

The restaurants are decent as well and even coming out of the pandemic only a 30-min wait for dinner. We are at Amigo this trip. You'll likely end up here for boat repairs, and the big ones most certainly as they have the giant lift for all sizes. My friend had a good experience with that as well. It's also way cheaper than trying to get repairs in some of the other areas. I'll hope to return for another day on the water.

Walked into the room and there was no desk lamp, turned on the light in the bathroom and cut my finger on a screw that somehow bent out of shape. Air conditioner was on and the room was freezing, tried to adjust the thermostat and it was broken. The window shade was tattered and would not go down all the way. Did I mention the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in about a decade. The floor needed a good washing. It was disgusting. Went to the front desk, to request a different room. Guy gave me attitude. Was insisting, for one, that I didn't know how to set a thermostat. Finally got another room. Filthy. The bathroom sink looked like it wasn't cleaned in a month, the toilet seat was loose, the roll of toilet paper was on the vanity. There was a sticky substance on the nightstand and desk. Survived night one. The next day we were locked out, had to go to the front desk to resolve the problem. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Would give it zero stars if I could.

However the two queens were on the third floor and it was in good shape. The breakfast was good. The hot tub in the pool area was broken. But the pool was operational. The fitness area looked pretty decent. The hotel was booked solid the night we stayed and they accommodated it well. The staff was friendly. Main areas that we saw were in good repair and clean. I've stayed in much worse, but also better. All in all decent place to stay.

This franchise is in the Hilton chain of hotels and are known for being moderately priced and having limited food and drink choices. It is right off the hwy 153 in Hixson. It is an older hotel with 3 floors and a covered entrance. The structure seems to be well maintained and the grounds seem clean. Check-in was convenient and easy. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I arrived early and they were nice enough to check, find and allow me to check in early. There is a breakfast area as you enter the hotel across from the check-in desk. It has a long high table in the center of the room and booths with tables along the edge of the room. The room that I checked into was a clean and functional single room with a bathroom to the left as you enter. The space was nice with a closet and bathroom serviced by the same barn door. There is a table for your office work. The TV is on top of a table that has a a microwave and refrigerator underneath and a suitcase holding desk on the other side. There is a couch and a small table. The Air conditioner is a standard lower window unit that is controlled by the wall thermostat. The bathroom was very nice and functional. Overall, for the price, location, convenience and friendly staff, this is a good place to stay in the Hixson area.

The bathroom had a light around the mirror that was malfunctioning and it was hard to be in the bathroom without the flashing bulb irritating your eyes. I check out and go to Candlewood Suites Hotel in Chattanooga. It seems like a 5-star hotel. It is pet friendly and there is no additional fee added for pets, so I had a better nightly rate at this exceptional hotel. It was clean, modern and excellent in every way. I highly recommend Candlewood Suites for a luxury hotel stay.
