Supper aggressive, speedy drivers. I would not recommend this company ever for a ride, drivers are to dangerous.

the WORST cab service on Long Island, they act like they are the only business on the north fork (false), and will take your credit card in advance, charge you, and then have drivers not show up. There has never been a company more despicable, and untrustworthy. Angelo the driver belongs in jail. Do not take them. Call any other Uber or local service. read more

The worst taxi service I've ever seen. I called asking for a taxi to take me from the north fork to Montauk. I was told "No" before I even told them the time or day I needed a ride. I wish I could give this cab company 0 stars. I called this cab company at 2:30pm to get a taxi. I let them know I had to make a jitney (that I had already bought the tickets for = $40 for 2 passengers). They said they would be over in about 20 mins and would definitely get us to the jitney on time. ...At 3:15pm we still had not heard from the cab company so we called. They said they had not even left yet and was leaving right then. We reminded them we had to make the 4:00 bus and they said we would. We told them it was okay if they couldn't make it by then, but we needed to know now because it was about a 35 min walk. They said they would get us there in time. ...At 3:45pm we called again. They said they were lost. ....At 3:57pm they still had not arrived. I called to cancel the cab. We lost our $40 for the jitney tickets, and the next jitney was not until 7:20pm since all the other times were sold out by then. Best part, it was pouring rain. So we have the cab company 1.5 hours head start. We waited in the rain. Cab promised we would make it in time. Cab never showed. They never called us once. We had to be the ones to call them. Out $40. Had to spend another $40 for the next jitney. And walked in the pouring rain to the jitney. By the way, this made me so mad I made an account, verified my password, and read and revised this review. Lucky I have 3 hours to kill in this Starbucks. read more

This is the worst taxi service In existence. I ordered a taxi 5 days in advance for 3-5 people. I confirmed 2 days in advance that it was for 5 people. The night of the pick Up I got a call to confirm. I told JOAN it was for 5 people. She sent a car with only 4 seat belts. She lied & then would not accommodate us. After 5 telephone conversations confirming our plans. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I would give it no stars if I could. read more

I was with a large group of 10 people in Mattituck without a car, and we had no idea that Uber does not service that part of long island. We tried walking to a few of the wineries but ended up finding out about hometown taxi. This is one of the few reliable companies that service this area and although it is pricey (roughly $50-70 for our group for a 15 min ride), it was a lifesaver on our trip. They also have a large van for big groups, although you should be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes for your ride during peak season. read more

Needed a couple of rides within Southold while my wife had our car out of town. Hometown Taxi was great, came on time each time, and the my driver Joey was 100% customer focused and friendly. There's almost no Uber or Lyft on the North Fork, so these guys are lifesavers. read more

We had a great driver--he took us to a winery that we wanted to visit, but it was closing so he took us to another one for no additional charge. He even came back for us at closing time (before we even had a chance to call). Fares are by zone, and pretty high--$15 base plus $5 per town, or something like that, and cash only. (Also there was only one driver working so we really lucked out.) Otherwise great! read more

The car was filthy and seats were tattered. The roof liner was flopping around and touching our hair. The driver did not lift a finger to help us with our baggage. The driver went the wrong way for a few mikes until we flogged him. Then he blamed the GPS and we used google maps to redirect him. then magically knew where we were going. Our destination was 1.3 miles in total. We we're charged $21. Uber was $10 bucks. This hometown company should be put out if business by uber within a year. God willing. read more

Those aren't stars they are strikes. Strike one was a call to pick up one daughter up from the train station to the restaurant we were meeting at. It was pouring rain and they didn't pick her up until we called three times and they sent someone back for her. Strike two was a call to bring our other daughter to meet the jitney. Again too late and she missed her jitney. Strike three we called to bring us home from town and they were a no show and we ended up walking home. After three strikes they should be out but unfortunately, not much choice out here. Oh well at least we saved the fares and burned off some calories from dinner! I will say dispatcher was very nice and apologetic. read more

Absolutely terrible company. We called at 12:30 and they told us it would be a half an hour. It is now 115 with multiple calls and they keep telling us it'll be soon. All the other reviews are correct this company is terrible and they just give you the runaround. read more

The most unreliable taxi service I have ever experienced. Waited 2.5 hours for a taxi to pick us up, one driver lied and said that they sat in the driveway and waited for us (never called) when we were watching to see if someone came. Overall, extremely disappointed with this company. The operator was apologetic but frequently cut the line when we were trying to address our situation and said he would call back but never did. Will never use this taxi service again. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would. These people gave me the run around for 25 minutes. They are rude he was cursing under his breath giving me different numbers to call all for the same service. EXTREMELY unorganized and very unprofessional. This cab wasn't even for me it was for an elderly patient! read more
