    If you're from ID like I am and need a car faster than Peterson can deliver and Hometown says they have once sooner just wait! I worked with David Litzenberger. He seemed nice and I'm not sure if it's him or his manager but I will hold them both responsible for the poor customer service, poor communication and at worse being misleading. First, he sent me a PDF of a car with the MSRP price on it and then told me the car was $2,000 more. I asked him if they could give me MSRP since Peterson Toyota in Boise was not selling above MSRP. He said his manager would sell me the car at MSRP if I would get in writing that Peterson was selling at MSRP and not adding anything later. I went through the trouble of calling Peterson and asking them to send me in writing that they were not going to go above MSRP and they did. I might add now that I was looking for a RAV4 Hybrid and Peterson didn't have any in Hybrids coming in anytime soon and it was a 3-4 month wait. I wish I would have waited. They just has gas models so that is why I even dealt w/Hometown. Hometown could have the car within a month which still took longer than a month. David then told me he couldn't do it but only take $500 off. That was the first time he went back on his word. I was pretty shocked that they did that but I needed AWD for the snow and w/inflation and interest rates rising I thought I better just go ahead and get it so I did. I also ordered heated seats and found out later that the buttons do not come in the same place as the factory. They use a kit like what can be found on Amazon for $40 and put the buttons on the side of the seats just for anyone who wants to know. The car arrives and I pick it up. On my way home, I feel the car pulling to the right. I pull in my garage and notice a small ding in the metal part on the passenger side. I immediately text David about the pulling and ding. He says he will talk to the manager the next day. He texts me the next day and asks when in the next week I can bring it in because they need to order the part. I told him next Saturday. I get a text during midweek asking to reschedule because his dent guy is having a baby. I tell him the following Saturday and then he says he's not sure when he will be back from paternity leave. I then ask him if he could ask Peterson if they could do it, like explain the situation since I didn't think asking another dealership would take care of a ding that came from another dealership. He then tells me he isn't sure if they would even take care of it and would have to convince his boss. Literally, it went from, "Sure bring it back in" to now I might have to pay for the ding that came on my brand new car. I ask him why things have changed? He then proceeds to insinuate that I am a bad customer for complaining about a car that THEY sold me with ding and how it possibly needs the alignment adjusted. He also stated that he spent all day trying to get me the deal and incentives, that it was a real hassle getting the heated seats installed which I paid over $800 for and that he worked hard to get my car off the port to be delivered ASAP since it went over the estimated time he told me. I'm like, "this is your job, my dude." UNREAL. It went on a bit more but that is the gist and I never heard back from him nor do I want to hear from him. So now I have to have a car with a ding (it's super small but still annoying since it's brand new and shouldn't be there). I refuse to drive there and deal with them ever again. There was also faint grease stains on the back of my driver seat and bench seat which I did not complain about since I put seat covers on but it's not like they would do anything about it anyway. BUYER BEWARE. UPDATE 05/21/22: Took my car into Peterson today to check the alignment and it was in fact out of alignment. The tech said he felt it right away. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They could care less about you. Thank you so much Hometown for the brand new car with a ding in it, crappy heated seat installation where I can feel the coils, for making sure the car was ready for me with that alignment check and trying to gas light me by making me feel like it's my problem for bringing up issues with the car you sold me. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

    Bait-and-switch!!!! they sell cars that they don't have for sale. then salesman hangs up because I wanted to speak to the manager. Clearly the vehicle is listed on their website that it is in stock and for sale.

    This is the trash box sold to me with defective piston rings, sputtering everyday now. Thanks Steve's hometown Toyota!

    My horrifying experience was in November of 2019. I told him I was a disabled veteran, so then they decided to take advantage of me by using predatory sales tactics and selling me a lemon, like all 2006 through 2011 four cylinder Toyotas that have defective piston rings. They withheld the information and I have suffered everyday since.

Initial contact was decent, greeting was friendly, overall buying experience was acceptable, and it was a fair deal which included our trade-in vehicle. Sales staff was your best friend until after the sale. We had issues with the truck once we returned home, was promised multiple times the issues would be taken care of and that the issues were covered by the Ford warranty. We called the Sales Manager many times and many times our calls were not returned as promised. This was mentally challenging and should never have happened thru a "Ford" dealership! We would not recommend first of all driving 400 miles for a "perfect" vehicle nor would we recommend this dealership.

This oil change was done 1200 miles early at that. I asked if I could just get the oil and filter and I would do the last one myself. They refused, and said that they did me a favor by doing the one already. I'm sorry but these oil changes were pre paid for up front! They were never a gift from you ever. I paid for them!! Bo tells me they don't have anything to do with the contracts. Funny thing is the dealership gets paid for them, but they have nothing to do with them? I will never do business with Auto Ranch again. I knew there was a reason why I went to Smith Auto in Weiser, to have all my warranty work done. They understand customer service. Spend $65,000 with Auto Ranch and this is the best they can do. We'll see if screwing someone out of $120 or so is worth it. This certainly isn't my last vehicle, but it damn sure is from you!!

    Bought a new riding Husqvarna from Caps of Ontario Oregon they loaded it with a hyster we got it…read morehome unloaded with ramps. Started to mow lawn idler was to high took it back .We got it back this time idler went to low by itself so another trip to Caps this time when we got it back and started it made a horrible noise took it back a 3rd time was told a broken mandrel told them we wanted a new mower was told no asked why was told couldn't sell it as new. Since we asked for a new mower and not a refund we are stuck with a $3000.00 lawn mower which may have more problems. They claim we ran over something we have nothing but grass to run over we say it was the forks on the hyster that did the damage. We picked it up today and made them use ramps. The manager and mechanic were laughing as we were tying it down. If you buy a riding mower from Caps make sure they use ramps not a hyster.

Went back to capps asked about fiance and to get a possible test drive and again met with don't have much to say and didn't have keys or knew where they might be and was basically told to go get fiance at my personal bank and give him a call for info to give to the bank. Totally unprofessional and went out the door and he followed another gentleman out and immediately helped him with question on lawnmowers. Idk
