She kindly took us to fetch some food at a nearby food stop while Brian went to work finding the part we needed to continue our trip. We had been swindled at a mechanic back in Denver, CO a few day ago - the part that broke on our car was the same one that was replaced back in Denver. Brian called them and tried to get them to stand behind their mistake, but they didn't. I am beyond grateful for the work they do, and for what they did for us. He called back and said that "my bearings are fine, and all I was missing is a tie rod" and he fixed it for a fair price, and had it done that same day, so I wasn't out of a car anymore than one day. I called Modern Auto Service and Kevin (who comely and confidently said he would take care of my daughter) sent a tow truck, had a loaner car ready for her and was prepared to work on her car first thing the next morning get her on her way. The tow truck was very quick and she arrived at their shop 30 minutes after closing. One of their mechanics stayed late, found the problem quickly (spark plug wire was loose) and sent her on her way with no charge other than the tow.
