During his…read morestay, his family members and I were always welcomed at the place, our questions were answered in timely manner, our concerns were addressed, and I was able to obtain all necessary information to prepare my home to receive him back after his discharge. We also met wonderful family members of his fellow patients, and we enjoyed our daily conversation at the garden. We will always treasure the connections we made at the Cedar Manor.

The staff became our family as we all spent alot of time there during mom's illness especially. The staff in nursing, housekeeping, nutrition and rehab were so gracious and loving to our mom and to us. It was difficult to adjust after mom's passing and Jen the social worker offered her suggestions regarding dealing with our grief. The physical therapy I received was given daily, even on weekends. Every staff member was polite and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The view of the river is seen from every room, the boats that go by are fascinating. If you need rehab for any reason, consider Sky View.

Giving this 4 stars…read morebecause knowing that Mom wanted to be here AND appeared happy/content makes me the same, for the most part. There are great, good, and fair workers in all facilities. No facility is perfect. Knew names of 2 nurses that stood out for their professionalism and care : Edguardo (4th floor)and Renee(3rd floor) RN Joanne appeared to act better than the others but was actually the worst - spoke to visitors with an attitude. She took away from the decent image I took Sky View for. CNAs did the best they could with the staff that they had each day. Seemed to exhibit comradeship. Food was well prepared -- Dining Room staff is scarce. Took nearly 1 1/2hrs to have 80+ y.o wait for their full lunch. Have entertainment/patio BBQs/ "gardening" using an elevated window box - holiday parties(those are actually impressive and memorable to spend with your loved one) Won't say I wouldn't recommend, but like ANY Nursing Home, yes it's a Nursing Home, you have to do your homework and be ahead in the know at all times with what occurs.

The staff…read moreat Hancock Hall was incredibly loving, caring and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs and working with elderly patients. They kept in excellent contact with our family throughout her stay, and my mother was very content there. The facility itself was always clean (no typical institutional smell) and they stayed on top of medications, kept her engaged with activities, and closely monitored and assisted with her food. Aside from that, during Covid, the steps they took and the frequent communication with families was exemplary. We could not have asked for more for our mother. Kudos and a big thank you to you and your wonderful staff.

Dr. Lise Youkeles look me in my eyes told me I will take care you! I was unable to breath and no energy . Dr. Youkeles work on me and between Dr. Youkeles knowledge and meditations, breathing devices I have received a clean bill of health. My ct scans have shown my lungs are clear and infection is gone! Always able to reach the doctors when I have needed an appointment. Though the journey I have not been in the hospital or urgent care. I have received top notch health care. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa Youkeles if you ever need a Doctor. Thank you Dr. Youkeles this practice!

Much better than the '15 minutes and out' model of other practices. I had a couple of rare and hard to treat conditions which she was able to find answers to. Several days before the Corona Virus became a topic of any sort, I moved my mother to Ridge Crest…read moreat Meadow Ridge due to declining health. This was a very difficult decision as it was going to separate my mother from her husband. However, as I would soon learn, it became the very best choice I could have made. From my initial conversations with the Admissions Nurse Daneen, my mind was put at ease by her expertise, her overwhelming compassion and complete sense of caring about all aspects of the move. Soon after the move, I met Danielle, the head nurse of the wing where my mother was placed, and found the exact same wonderful and comforting set of values in her (I am able to talk with Danielle daily to get updates on my mother's condition). This was followed by the rest of the staff, who, again, continue to impress me in every way. Then the word of the Corona Virus made the news. Ridge Crest under the direction of Kim Held, the Director of Nursing, took decisive and immediate action and locked down the facility to all visitors. This was far in advance of other nursing facilities,and has played a pivotal role in keeping the facility safe. This meant my mother's husband and I would no longer be able to visit her. However, once again, the Ridge Crest team stepped up. They understood the social and emotional toll this would take on their residents and their loved ones. Through the staff's loving and compassionate ways they put the residents at ease, as well as their family and loved ones. I am able to be in regular contact with the nursing staff by phone, my mother via FaceTime (set up by the staff). I cannot imagine a better, safer, more professional and loving place to have placed my mother. Ridge Crest is simply an outstanding facility.

Of course, this is always a difficult decision for the family, but, Ridgefield Station has made this process and my father's transition as easy as possible. The staff provides excellent care and the perfect balance of allowing resident independence, while still providing proper oversight. All of the staff that deals with my father (and by extension, the family) has been very kind and caring. While there are many factors that go into making a decision of this magnitude, I would say that for the items Ridgefield Station controls, they do an outstanding execution of a tough job.

The team is caring, competent, and go above and beyond in their kindness to this population. I "pop in" often, always seeing residents engaged in activities, or relaxing in front the of fireplace (electric, of course), or sitting together in the dining room. The Compass Care facility is bright, modern, beautifully furnished, and full of natural light. Unlike others I toured, there no dark hallways or corners with residents slumped on sofas and chairs with no supervision. I cannot imagine a better place for these very special loved ones. I am an extremely demanding person, especially when it come to family, aren't we all, and Ridgefield Station is tops in my book.
