Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a Blake T in Service Department. From start to finish, Blake demonstrated a shocking lack of basic customer service skills and utterly failed to provide even the most basic updates on my car repairs which were running behind. As a courtesy, Claudia marked the vehicle during check-in to be washed but was never done and the service advisor never paid attention to that. I would give full marks to Claudia who showed exceptional customer service skills both during check-in and check-out and offered me a complimentary car wash and vacuum for my next service. The overall experience was a complete letdown, and I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with service advisor Blake, if possible. I am also forwarding my grievance about the service advisor to Honda Customer Relations. read more

I wrote a 3 star review for Honda Leander due to a personality conflict with a sales manager that resulted in my having to drive across town to Howdy Honda to find a similar deal for a slightly less favorable trim of the black Honda Accord Hybrid that I wanted one hour later. In the sales manager's defense, I am a tough negotiator who can really get on peoples' nerves and we were dealing with a difficult trade-in situation. That being said, I have entered negotiations to buy a car 8 times in my life and come out with a deal 7 times... Honda Leander ended my perfect steak. So I obviously can't give a full 5 stars. I highly recommend my sales associate, Kobi... super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the new Honda Accord Hybrids... I love mine so much, and Kobi thoroughly convinced me that I was test driving my dream car. He was absolutely right. And finally, Honda Leander's inventory is always well stocked and their prices are excellent. I especially love the fact that they just ask for straight MSRP, don't add "features" to the cars that we don't want, and even give us some stuff for free that other dealerships usually try to charge us for. I would like to thank you, Aaron, for offering to talk to me about the situation. But there is no need... I made my point, and all is forgiven. Personality conflicts happen... that is life. The fact that you care enough to talk to me about the situation is all I need to know to bump this review up to 4 stars. In hindsight, I actually learned an important lesson... at Howdy Honda, I was basically like "Here is how I negotiate, and I can be really annoying." They really seemed to appreciate my straightforwardness, and I feel like it really helped us lock up a deal quickly. I will still be happy to shop at Honda Leander in the future, and wish all of you the best including the sales manager who I would be happy to work with again now that I have had time to mellow out. I went to the service & parts station, I see they are very disorganized. They do not greet people when walked in and also we have to figure out who came first in the queue. There are 5 people working on the parts station and not even one person wants to know why the customer came in. I waited for 15 minutes and walked into the parts store brought the part thinking that the installation would be quick. However after purchasing the part, the service station told me to wait for 2 hours for installation. It took me an hour for the entire process. If they would have told me 2 hours when I walked in, I would have simply left. However I am not sure if its a tricking customers to wait and buy expensive parts from dealership. read more

Imagine my surprise when I got a call weeks later from a Honda Leander salesperson calling to "check" on me after my wreck. I purchased a vehicle 3 months ago from this dealership. Was under the impression the car was safe and good to go. They even kept it a week to make a few repairs before I drove off with it. Come to find out they knowingly let me drive off the lot in a vehicle that was structurally dangerous knowing I was going to be driving with children in the car...the car has major damage a 5 year old would recognize if they took a look under the car. Obviously since they where replacing the catalytic converter ( which they replaced with a rusted up one that wasn't even the correct make or model of the car)...the mechanics at the dealership would have seen the many many issues and still choose to let that go as a safe car. Also the dealership tried to talk me out of getting the extended warranty multiple times which should have been a red flag I guess. Luckily I did purchase the warranty much to the their dismay. " It's a machine. Machines break" was the response I got. So now I have a a non drivable car with over 14,000 !! dollars worth of repairs (1,800 out of pocket) and I haven't even made the 3rd car payment yet. For most normal working folk 1800 bucks is a massive amount of money to spend after purchasing a vehicle from a supposed trustworthy major dealership. But that was a stupid assumption on my part I guess. So bottom line looks like they got the quick sell out of me without any regard to safety and zero integrity as a dealership. Stopped in last night to look at 2022 Pilots. We had previously engaged with one sales rep online and I had used the scheduling tool she sent the link for, but for whatever reason they didn't have the appointment in their system and the rep we had engaged with left for the day. Having experienced many other disorganized or shady dealerships I was a little on edge with this initial encounter, but my edginess quickly dissipated when the sales manager introduced himself and quickly got another sales rep to help us. He gave us the model/trim level we were looking at and let us go for a test drive. Loved the vehicle. Came back and decided we want a higher trim level that they have coming in soon. Deposit process was quick and now we just wait for the unit to arrive in a few weeks. Overall, I found them to be fair, upfront, and honest. Everyone we interacted with seemed genuinely nice. No "market adjustments" or other cutesy term for price gouging here y'all! There is a dealer package addition of $1300-something (can't remember the exact number) but it includes all-season mats throughout, paint protection (I know I know), and tint. We felt like that was an OK price and far less than we've seen at other dealers so, we're neutral on that point. If you're in the market for a new/pre-owned vehicle I'd definitely check them out. read more

Last night, on a whim, we stopped into Honda Leander. We'd stopped at 3 other dealerships with absolutely no help or even acknowledgement at 2 of those other 3 places. Immediately, we were approached by the manager (he was out moving cars) who offered to get a salesman to help us. Our salesman came out within just a minute or 2 and gave us information about the 2 vehicles we were interested in. We took one of the 2 for a test drive, came back, and were a bit undecided on purchasing only because of a personal situation. After talking to the manager again, we decided "what the heck-let's do it!" We sat down, were immediately offered water, coffee, or tea and they started working on paperwork for us. MJ, the super amazing salesman, (ASK FOR HIM...SERIOUSLY! JUST DO IT!!) jumped right in and brought us the credit app to start working, brought us snacks, and chatted with us while we were doing paperwork. They had us approved in less than 20 minutes, got us in to Jason from Finance, he worked with us on what we needed for warranty, and had us ready to go shortly afterwards with our new to us 2021 Accord. What an amazing bunch! GO THERE--you won't be disappointed! The dealership is only about 3 months old, super clean and bright, and has the best people working there. We're very happy with our purchase and give MJ and Jason the highest kudos!! Today I took my Honda Pilot in for a Safety Recall on a possible hood latch defect. Arrived on time and connected with a service adviser in a timely fashion. Hood latch was checked and deemed to be ok, they also did a software update on the computer system, checked tires, air filters, rotated my tires on my request, and washed my car. All in just an hour and a half. And my dog found everyone to be very dog friendly. Nice to have a local Honda Dealer and not having to drive to Round Rock. read more

I should have read the reviews before driving so far to try and buy a Honda Pilot from this dealership. The whole sales process was disappointing. The salesperson lacked enthusiasm and interest in working with me, and the management team only wanted to give me less than the very bottom figure from the Kelly Blue Book value for my 2019 Honda Ridgeline, which would not be a fair deal. The dealership also did not tell me about the $500 add-on upfront. I even tried working with the low figure for my truck, but management couldn't even work within a $500 parameter, so I walked out. I have a 2019 accord and we needed a standard 3 year service. Oil, rotation, and brake fluid. Checked coupons on local honda dealers and most of them had a brake fluid or oil coupon. Other dealers were drop off primarily with very long waits. I called Leander Honda and spoke to Matt. He had appointments and they could get it done in 2 hours or less. I made an appointment and drove out 20 minutes. Excellent and prompt service. I was out in 90 minutes. They washed my car and happily applied the $99 brake fluid change coupon. I put down a $500 deposit for a Honda wanting it to be held for me for when I get my tax return. Well my tax return ended up being delayed and reduced so I am no longer able to afford the vehicle. I let my dealer know this and was wanting to get my $500 back and they told me it is non refundable and that they make it known but they didn't inform me of this. I'm a single mom of a 5 year old boy living paycheck to paycheck. walking to work because I don't have a car and now I'm out of the $500 because they will not refund me the money. I made an online appointment for a service light that came on and an open recall that I had. Took a half day off from work and drove in from Llano. Showed up at 1:00 on Friday to have it looked at. Was told they could only look at the recall (latch on the hood). Anything mechanical they couldn't get too. I offered to leave it and stay the night at a hotel and come back Saturday afternoon. Nope. We don't do that work on Saturday. Not once was there a how can we make this right. It was all nope we can't do that. Was excited to have a dealership closer until now. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere! I've had nothing but problems from the start with this dealership. I like my CR-V but not this dealership! I should have left before purchasing from this dealership but they had the color I was looking for. The positive reviews are from their employees so keep that in mind. From the start the manager did not want to give my disabled veteran husband his discount on the vehicle, after telling me we did not qualify several time and going back and forth he printed the Honda policy and brought it out to prove me wrong only for me to prove him wrong, we did qualify for the veteran discount! Also the price listed online is not the price you will pay, they have dealer add ons that you have to purchase such as over priced window tint, floor mats, etc. They they didn't install my temp tags in the vehicle and they called me back to the dealership 30 minutes into my drive home. Then the available times to bring your vehicle back to get the windows tinted is very inconvenient (M-F 8-4) so I had to take off work and drive down there on the day I was told only to be told it was that date but the following month! I was told they were going to tint all windows and then when I get my windows tinted they only did the front 2 and refused to do the other windows. They do not give you finance paperwork when you sign, they say it will be emailed to you, it's been over a week and I am still waiting to receive my finance paperwork, I've called the finance manager several times and he never answers or returns my calls! This dealership is a joke, no customer service, worst vehicle purchase I've experienced. read more

I got a Kelly Blue Book instant cash offer for my 2012 BMW, and Leander Honda was one dealership that responded that they would honor the offer. I made an appointment with the agent, 30 min. before the apt., got another confirmation text, as soon as I got there I responded that I had arrived. But I go in, no one knows why I am there, the person texting me was no where to be found, but another agent does approach me and finds out why I was there. He also started the appraisal process on my car. Finally, after about 30 min., I meet the person that was texting me and set up the apt. He says they are working on my offer?? My offer??, it had already been made prior to Leander Honda's response to the KBB price. So finally they come out with the official offer which is $2500 leas than the KBB price. They have all sort of excuses based primarily on the Car Fax report. The same Car Fax was available before they responded to the KBB offer, so why now, they knew everything about the car before they committed to the KBB price, except they had not seen the car, which they admitted was in excellent condition. So I wasted 3 hours, because of a flawed process that is primarily to get you to their dealership so that they can then put their sales pitch on you. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

By far the nicest auto service area in Leander & Cedar Park. The brand-new Honda dealership of Leander has a spacious service area with comfy leather chairs and two large screen TVs and offers excellent free coffee from a fancy machine and free snacks. My service advisor Sean Grandt was especially welcoming and helpful with my state inspection. With his personal greeting, showing me the new facility, compliments, providing a free car wash, and running (yes running) to return my car once it was ready, I felt I needed to pay triple the $18.50 state inspection fee for all the amenities and upscale service. I could not have asked for a better experience and had already searched all of the other major auto dealerships in Cedar Park and Leander and was more than impressed with Honda of Leander. I'll be back for every state inspection and for test driving some cars. FYI ... even though I did not own a Honda, they accept any make and model for state inspections and I encourage everyone to go. read more
