I would avoid this dealership, just make the extra drive and go to Chamblee or Stonecrest. I made an appointment for Friday @ 11:00am for an oil change and tire rotation. I waited around for a little over 2 hours, then I went to my service advisor to ask if he had any idea of when it would maybe be done, he responded with "around 45 minutes." So over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment. The most I have ever waited at any dealership/car shop is maybe an hour and half. I won't be returning, 3 hours is an absolute ridiculous wait for an "express service". read more

The employees at this dealership will lie to you about buying your vehicle. Courtney contacted me after I filled out the Kelly Blue Book instant offer application online. She told me in plain English the dealership would buy my car for MORE than the Kelly Blue Book offer. I made sure to have her clarify she meant BUY my car, not TRADE for a new one. I showed up this last Saturday and was told they would not buy my car for more than KBB. Only in trading would I get that amount. This upset me, as I was outright lied to by Courtney. So I asked to talk to her supervisor so I could express how unethical that was. The supervisor listened to my complaints, but tried to play innocent. He wouldn't admit Courtney lied to me. I thanked him for his time and left. That should be the end of the story, but no. Today I receive ANOTHER text from Courtney, asking when I can bring my car to the dealership. Obviously they aren't keeping records or notes about who visits. So I decide to see if she'll lie again. I ask her again if they will BUY my car for more than KBB, NOT TRADE. She says "exactly." So I double down. I ask, "So if I bring my Honda to you, I can expect to walk away with $1600 or more WITHOUT trading it in for a new car?" She says, "That's right." She is a liar that will lie to trick you into wasting your time. And her supervisor obviously didn't care to change her behavior. Lying to people is wrong. It is unethical. Purchased a brand new car and when it arrived at the dealership, it was SEVERELY scratched--straight through the clear coat and into the paint (down to the metal in some places). A body shop quoted me over $5000 in repairs after seeing the pictures. I refused to accept the car but Honda South will not repair the car, exchange it for another, or refund me my money. They claimed that I took possession the car even though it is still sitting in their lot untouched. They blatantly violated the terms of the sales contract and are a complete scam. Darren - the finance guy here - knowingly "signed" me up for an unrealistic car payment for a CR-V Hybrid Touring, and called me up 3 weeks later saying "financing fell through". Google this people - it's called yo-yo scam or yoyo financing and is illegal in some states. Unfortunately, not in Georgia. Keep away from Honda South and go to Hennessey if you want a Honda. Avoid taking your car to this dealership at any costs. I would recommend Ed Voyles Honda in Chamblee or anywhere else in a heartbeat. I have spent countless wasted hours, numerous trips to this dealership, and paid over 2,500 to be sitting in the waiting room again 24 hours later because the car would not start. Our service advisor Haley, was consistently absent and only consulted us one time throughout the entire process of getting my car fixed and after days without a car and hours waiting at the dealership, there were absolutely no efforts to fix the situation, provide a loaner vehicle, or any sort of compassion after explaining I have been unable to go to work for days because of the inconsistent communication from Honda. After paying an almost 200$ fee for a DIAGNOSTIC test to diagnose what the specific issue with my vehicle and paying $2,500 to fix the issues, i am extremely disappointed to be leaving this review sitting in the Honda South dealership the very next morning. I bought a car from here the skirt under the carriage came off. I didn't know it because it was under the car. My driver side mirror did not move when I tried to set it. I took the car back to have it fixed. They told me I did it. I must have hit something to make that happen. They would not fix it. I just had bought the car three days ago. When you buy here you better check under the car too. On top of that the emissions was not done on it. They told me that after a paid my money for the car. They wanted me to go and get that done. Beware - 10th Gen Civic Owners TL;DR: Check all the screws are intact for engine splash guard after an oil change. This post will be long, but I will explain throughly. Happened two months back. I made a DIY ramp for my brother's Lexus to do some maintenance. (It's an old car and we decided to do some stuff ourselves). Out of curiosity I put my Honda Civic 2017 EX-T on the ramp and my brother noticed that there are some screws missing in the splash guard. We don't touch the Civic since it's new. That happened because I did an oil change from Willett Honda and the technician was just plain lethargic to put all the screws in. I didn't think of it as much and ignored (my $230 mistake). Anyways, we had an interstate trip coming up from GA to IL and halfway there I heard a noise underneath my car. And there you go, the Aluminium splash guard crumpled and the whole thing was dangling under there. Bummer! I researched in to this problem and apparently this problem is becoming common day by day. Most common being dealers not putting all the screws in and in high speed continuous trips, eventually the air intake underneath makes it weak and the whole thing starts to come off. I didn't want to take risks and had it changed in a local Missouri Honda dealership on the way with a whopping $230. All because some technician didn't care enough to put the screws in. Guys, when you do the oil change, make sure to check they put back the splash guard with all the screws in! Day to day city trip might not dangle it much but a long trip will surely make this thing come off if the job is done sloppily! read more

I would rate ZERO stars if I could! This is going to be a long post, but I want people to know everything wrong with this dealership. Unless you want to be scammed and overcharged and have to return your vehicle, I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here! It all started with their false advertisements, of Zero down or $1 down, stating approved with only $1 down regardless of your credit whether its good or bad. This is not true! They didn't have any vehicles at their lot that I was interested in, so I found one at one of their sister lots I wanted. This was on a Monday. They told me they would get the vehicle shipped to their location and to come in on Saturday. I had submitted all documentation to them to get approved and was told that I was approved and we had a deal. That Thursday I noticed the vehicle they were supposed to be getting shipped over for me was sold! They never even contacted their sister lot to ship the vehicle. So I was expecting to go in Saturday and have this vehicle to ride home in, but no they didn't do their job and it sold. I still went to the dealership on that Saturday as planned. They said they needed to run my credit to see if I was approved. I told them that had already been done and I had proof on my credit that hard inquiries had already been ran and that the lady I had been speaking with for weeks now told me I was approved and we had a deal. I also had a trade in and was told they would give me more money for trade in then what it's worth to cover the full downpayment on a vehicle of my choice. They also had listed in their advertisement they pay over 400% of kbb value of your trade in. This was also a lie!!! They tried to tell me that my vehicle was only worth $500 and that's what they were giving me for it. I called them out on all their lies and they didn't like it I also stated how kbb value of my vehicle in the condition its in (good condition) was $4,300 and excellent was close to $5,000. I stated I know the value of my trade in and not to low ball me. They then proceeded to pull a vehicle out for me not my choice, and didn't even tell me what kind of vehicle until we were ready to test drive and they tried to sell me a vehicle I had absolutely no interest in whatsoever. I told them no I wasn't test driving it. About 4 different times throughout the time I was at the dealership they tried selling me the car they picked I said no. They told me I was approved for a vehicle and when I asked the price range I was approved for they didn't want to tell me and told me the car they picked for me was the only vehicle price i was approved for. So I pulled up their inventory and found several vehicles at that same price and close to it. They finally give me a ballpark range so I picked a couple vehicles out, one I was really interested in and test drove it. They said they could make it work. Then they come back and tell me I need to put $3,000 down on the vehicle after my trade in. After I had told them over 10 times I had no additional down and my trade in was all I had for a down-payment. They said no problem. Then come back and say they still need like $2,000 more down on top of trade in or I can't get the vehicle. So we go with my second option. They approve me for it. Then come back and tell me they still need $1,500 down on top of trade in. I said how many times do i have to tell you my trade in is all i have. I call them out on their advertisement for zero down and they said my credit wasnt good enough and i told them they're spreading false advertisemnt but it states even with bad credit everyone is approved for zero down. By the end of it i left there with my second choice of vehicle, zero down and they gave me $4,000 for my trade in. Jump ahead to 3 weeks later i still have no paperwork from capital one auto finance who my loan was through. No way to make my first month payment because i didnt have the information on when and where to make my payment. I called capital one they told me i was approved but the dealership never sent them the contract. I started getting suspicious and it wasnt until then that i started investigating about this dealership. Come to find out several customers had dealt with exactly what i was dealing with. They had to return their vehicles and were told they would get their downpayments refunded and never did. I contacted the dealership about what was going on they tell me capital one came back and declined after approving me. This is not what capital one told me. Then they tell me to come in to resign papers. I asked if that meant i was approved. They did not answer my question. Just replied with "you just need to resign" i drive up there for them to tell me i am not approved and that i need to give the car back to them after having it for almost a month. I call Capital One while i am there and they indeed tell me i am approved the dealership just needs to send the contract. They wouldn't and I had to return the vehicle. I made an appointment on line for 7:15. Got there before 7 with about 10 cars in front of me (yes, I counted). I had a low tire pressure light on. Four hours later, I ask about my car and they hadn't touched it. My issue was, the service advisor didn't give me any courtesy such as an estimated time that I would be up. He just took my car and never got back with me. The other advisors did it with their customers. I should have been given a status and option to wait or leave. Poor customer service. Period read more

Got an email confirming my appointment on Wednesday, then got a text message for me to confirm my appointment on Friday. I confirmed my appointment. Arrived at my time and was told that oil changes are "first come, first served." They're no longer doing appointments for oil changes. If I could get an email and text message to confirm my appointment why couldn't I get either to let me know that my appointment would be cancelled due to being short staffed? I can get marketing phone calls all day from this place but I can't get you to call me to cancel my appointment? read more

I had a great experience at Willett Honda thanks to my technician Matt. This is my local dealership so I have come here often for my Honda needs. Usually service is on point but this time it definitely warranted a positive review! They have comfortable furniture to wait on and there is a complementary service from a driver who can pick you up (probably who can also drop you off) from your home. My tire blew out the night before so I called and asked if I could be seen as a walk-in. I wanted to fix my tire and to get the oil change I had been putting off. Matt was the person who worked on my car and he was very up front about expectations of how long the process would take. I was told that there would be a two hour wait before my car could be seen (lunchtime). Right around lunchtime I received a call from Matt about my car. He told me they would need to order the tire and that it would take until 6pm to get the tire there and get it on. I was really trying to make it into the office so Matt understood when I said I want to try asking other local tire shops and that I may just want to get an oil change. After calling around, the Honda price was a lot more reasonable than local tire shops so I called and agreed to wait until 6pm. Around 5:25 Matt let me know that my car was ready. When I told him I was waiting for transportation he offered their driver service (my first time hearing about this). My father took me to the shop and we checked out (with a helpful $10 off provided by Matt) and he gave us some great advice about car repair services. All in all I appreciated the exceptional, genuine customer service Matt provided and I would return to Honda to trust him to care for my vehicle again. I would personally recommend to the dealership to have a larger selection of tires available because it was a great inconvenience to me to skip an entire day of work to wait for a tire to be ordered and delivered. My car is a 2016 Honda Civic, it is a very recent model so it is concerning and disappointing that there is not a matching tire for my car at the dealership or closer to the dealership than a place that takes 5-6 hours to have a tire brought. read more

I waited almost 2hrs even though I had an appointment. Which I think is ridiculous just for an oil change. To then get home and my TPMS light comes on. I go outside and realize she had them rotate my tires anyway even though I said NO. This is the exact reason I said no because this happened the last time. So I called up there this morning and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Kenneth he was really cool and was like oh its no problem bring it back in we will recalibrate them, it happens in the crosstours/suv all the time. So I got off work early to take the car hack over there and the guy who is one of the managers who never even gave me his name I think the lady inside said his name was TJ, was extremely rude and to me very condescending to me since I am a female. Since this has happened to me before im very aware of how it works but he was determined to tell me I NEED to buy new tires and that's the problem. Disregard the fact that NO LIGHT was on before I brought my car in there and they rotated my tires. Regardless I needed new tires when I came in and the light wasn't on then!! Had the representative did what I said and did an OIL CHANGE ONLY we wouldn't be here.. now im stick trying to figure out how a to fix my car. He was not helpful or approachable. Do not go to this Honda for servicing I have had more issues at this location than positive situations. They never have the same staff and now I see why. My oil light came on last week at 50% oil life.. it shouldn't have done that. The last oil change in October I had no issues. Now I have the same problem I had last spring in 2021 when I had to get my oil gasket replaced. I have an extended warranty that covered it. It's leaking again!! I got to go back this dealer tomorrow and get it repaired again!! I am tried this issue that shouldn't be happening at 93,000 miles!! When I come back on Monday, it better be fixed!! With the extended warranty paying for it!!! I don't want this issue anymore!! They did do an oil change on Wednesday 1/12/2022.. it should be loosing oil!! Not happy with the maintenance right now!!! It was about time my wife's car was 17 yrs old we decided she needed a new car. We stopped in Honda South on US1 in Palmetto Bay just to look around rite away the sharks came after us one of them spoke English they were all sitting on a bench outside waiting for the kill. All of them staring at us salivating. The new CRV caught the wife's eye she sat inside of it she liked it looked more safe and more roomy then a Civic. We went inside to talk about price. I told the salesman, lets just call him SM I told him I refuse to pay the dealer sticker with add-ons like mud flaps and wax, wheel locks they add in the window that's almost $7,000 more then MSRP factory sticker. No shortage of these CRV's all the dealers have them. I tell him I will pay no more then MSRP not a dime over he says ok you got it MSRP, my wife heard him say MSRP. Being they add on dealer fees and all kinds of fees anyway besides tag, title, tax anyway at the end. Its all profit! We worked a trade in on the deal he said $2K for your trade I said no I said I will shop around he told me as we were walking out ok I'll give you $3K for your trade he didn't want me shopping. Meanwhile while we were sitting with him he acts like a family man talks about his kids very charming getting your trust getting personal romancing you but in reality that is part of the act humanizing himself as a decent person and with a beautiful new dealership state of the art building. In reality is a con artist in our opinion at his best. They do the paperwork he is just a puppet the sales manager makes the deals and oks them. He has my wife sign everything then there is the finance you go to his office he tries to sell you warranties and do the financing which is a another con artist in our opinion same getting friendly so you gain more trust. At the end the paperwork confused us they charged us $900 over MSRP we never got a copy of the work sheet and all kinds of inflated BS fees. We left with the new vehicle. They put the vehicle and taxes together as a line item to trick you it didn't have a line for the cost (MSRP) before taxes. Sign here sign there. We went back to complain SM (Salesman) denied everything he promised lied to my face Was like another person we never met! SM said we never sell MSRP in this dealership!!!!!!!! Straight faced liar looking me in the eye!!!!! Bald headed Sales Manager said he would do nothing wouldn't give me his name. I got loud cause I felt raped and violated its horrible feeling to trust someone who screws you I was upset they called security he just watched. I could see the con artist in all of them and I gave up and left security watched me walk to my car and leave. When I found out the ripped us off I called 20 times in one day no one would return my call as promised by them couple of them even hung up on me said they got disconnected I said why didn't you call me back???? They are use to screwing people don't want to hear back from them afterwards!! So I went in person! When I walked into the showroom a couple of salesman watching TV laughed and smiled at me.
