He came out the next day, and replaced all of the gaskets around the roofing vents. He showed me a before and after picture of the gaskets. There was a decaying wooden stairs that seemed to add to the sadness of the landscape. I dreamed of natural stone steps and woodland plantings with laurels and ferns. Gary Simmers was the only hardscaper with the confidence to take on that hillside and for thousands less than my next cheapest estimate. I was offered many solutions but Gary was able to create the natural look I wanted. The steps are substantial but placed perfectly to flow down the hill like a stone waterfall, for a timeless look like what you might see at a British country house. Even my thrifty friend had to admit that those steps are stunning and worth every penny. Mr. Simmers responded quickly to a request for an estimate and stuck to his quote and timeline. His workers were exceptionally courteous, hard working, and professional. They completed the arduous job in just a few days, and even removed the old rotting wood staircase for me. They cleaned up the worksite and graded the ground below at the correct pitch. I would highly recommend Gary Simmers hardscaping services!
