I used Honey Bubble for my wedding and they did a great job. They did it exactly as I had envisioned--my favorite flavor, lavender milk tea, and my husband's favorite, taro milk tea in two self-serve dispensers with boba and coffee jelly on the side to add. The only downside was that the straws were cut in half and were a bit too short to suck up the boba but no matter, people loved it! I love that they sweeten with honey and they are one of the few places that serve lavender. And now that it's been a part of my wedding, they will always have a special place in my heart :) read more

I love Honey Bubble and have been stopping by since they opened. Overall their selection of flavors is great and they feature special flavors depending on the season as well. Lately business has been picking up for them which I think is great however my order has been forgotten a few times in the congestion so I would suggest trying to go during a slower time. Honey bubble is located on Ponce, close to Ponce city market. The front parking lot is pretty small so getting a parking spot can be a little challenging but when I entered they had a sign that they have a parking lot in the back not sure how to get there though. Their menu consist of dairy free milk teas in a variety of flavors, clear bubble teas, fine teas l, slushes, coffee and some baked goods. I tried the royal milk tea with coffee large for 5 dollars. It's one of the best bubble teas I've had in Atlanta. They have adequate seating for a pretty small shop most people take their orders to go. Although this place seems Ike a really cool place to study and do home work. The only downside is they don't have a food. But I'll be back once the semester starts!! read more

Being a cool, worldly person, I appreciated the familiar sense of trendiness as I walked into the store. Little tables for people to pretend to work in: also perfect for cutesy dates. Cozy couch for third-wheeling on cutesy dates. A katana on the wall to fend off intruders. Mini-golf grass for your daily outdoors quota. What else can you ask for? During my brief stay in Atlanta, I saw many familiar faces. As always, friends and acquaintances remind you of your own existence. I don't mean that in a mopey existential way; I mean like "Oh hey, I exist in these people's lives." I wondered how much longer Atlanta would be home to these familiar faces before Change begins to overshadow its younger (by 6 minutes!) brother. Not too long, I am afraid... As for my drink, I ordered a Matcha Bubble Tea with almond milk because, as I mentioned above, I'm trendy AF. The silky tea swirled around my tongue and rinsed the lingering nostalgia from the previous night's conversations. Honey Bubble has quickly been one of my standbys when I'm looking for a sweet treat. I live close to Honey Bubble so I started to choose it over Sweet Hut for convenience's sake but it's really started to grow on me. Despite their lack of parking, it's nice not to have to park in a garage. The baristas are always super nice, knowledgeable, and don't rush you. I can always find someone comfy to sit and their WiFi is reliable. The atmosphere is calming and it's usually populated but not overcrowded. Groups seem to be reasonably noise conscious here. They serve Honeysuckle gelato as well as pastries (macarons from Alon's ) so it's a great place to go with a group for dessert even if not everyone drinks bubble tea. I love how they have different milk options because I have friends with allergies and lactose intolerance. In summary, Honey Bubble has hit that sweet spot where I can come here to get work done but also can bring a group here to hang out without feeling like I'm disrupting people working. As far as taste goes, I think that they err on the sweet size and I wish they offered more sugar level options (e.g. no sugar, half sugar, less sugar). Their tapioca is not excessively chewy and perfectly sweetened. They have so many flavor options...I have no tried near all of them yet. My favorite milk tea flavors are: pistachio, lavender, honeydew, and coconut palm. I recommend the green tea over the black tea as a base because it's less sweet and more fragrant. The guy who took our order was okay, not much interaction but the two girls making the drinks looked like they'd rather be somewhere else. This place is awesome. You can smell the wonderful tea as you enter through the doors. They fresh brew their various teas every hour so that they are always fresh. I love Thai tea with bobas and this is one of very few places I have been to that used real fresh brewed Thai tea and not a powder. Also tried a strawberry tea and a Vanilla tea both were very good quality but would like to have them a little sweeter. They sweeting everything naturally with honey which tends to take a little more to make it as sweet as I like. Very large menu with a nice variety. The staff is very friendly and really fast. Go, Honey Bubble, go! You've become quite the busy business. With good reason. Honey Bubble uses quality ingredients to create some great boba tea. This gives mixed reviews from the tried-and-true diehards to those who say "it's too bitter" or "it's too sweet." For HB it seems you have to find -your- tea and preferences for it. I hear they even have lactose intolerant friendly options too. While I have yet to sample that, HB was one of the first places that I found that had clear teas before Buford High trips nearly became ritual. With that in mind, I really enjoy the Hibiscus green tea. Perhaps not venturing out of my cave just yet. In time, my sweet, in time. I once had a case of the "it's too sweet" blues involving a honeydew slushie. But that's okay. GA Peach & Hibiscus are really good and my go-tos. Plus, unlike other places, they aren't intensely syrup-y which is a huge plus. I can taste the tea for once. They have Alon's Bakery macarons and pastries, and I think they've added Ratio Bakery's goods. Sorry, Alon's.... If Ratio gives HB their macarons... I'm all down. They have some of the best macarons. The matcha ice cream is also pretty good but small. Really can't help myself when green tea ice cream is involved.... Decor wise, they are definitely a refresher. Modern and lounge-esque. Very cool pallette and blends in cohesively with the area. They also have nice table space and study areas. If you're there on a slow day, this place makes a great hang out spot. Really good bubble tea! I had the signature royal milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was very, very good. I'm a purist and stick to the basics with my bubble tea. This one stacked up nicely against many others I've tried. Portions are a teensy on the small side, but by no means skimpy...prices; decent. The gluten free brownie was off the charts phenomenal..was the best I have ever tried. I've eaten a whole bunch of gluten free treats. Most are incredibly disappointing, this brownie....cue the hallelujah chorus kind of delicious. I arrived here by recommendation of a close friend who lives in Decatur. It sounded like a fun concept, and it's different than every other chain, franchised place we all get tired of visiting. I stopped in around 2:30 on a Friday, and I was pleased that I could just pull straight into a parking spot. Walking in was easy on the eyes, with clean, neutral lines painted into the inside of the store. I was met with a warm welcome from a lovely young lady (I wish I could remember her name!). She was super helpful, and as someone who has never had bubble tea, I appreciated the guided suggestion on how to build a drink. I went with the Royal Milk tea with tapioca pearls. The tea itself is superb. It is iced, sealed in a cup, waiting to be punctured like a grown up Capri Sun (easily the best part of buying this $5 drink- stabbing a straw into it to take a sip. Don't act like that wasn't the best part of your day as a kid). Now: the pearls. They are just.... Different. They are a different texture, and as a Southern man, the only two things I'm used to having in my tea is ice and a boatload of sugar. They are squishy, and are somewhere between the size of Milk Duds and Gobstoppers. They are tasteless, which I found to be pointless. I thought it would be a little flavor that would give the rich tea a punch. Maybe the aloe ones are different. I'll find out next time. Definitely go. I'd easily recommend this place, and they have room to hang out, study, etc. read more

Definitely a top choice for me when it comes to boba. Compared to Sweet Hut, I'd probably come here if I were craving boba. This place can be easy to miss. It's just past the Whole Foods--maybe about 2 blocks down. Parking is limited in the front, but if you go around back, there is a gravel parking lot that has plenty of space. There's a large variety of options to choose from. I always get the Signature Royal Milk Tea. Keep in mind you can customize your drink, i.e. half sweet, half ice, etc. etc. Be sure to ask for boba (the pearls) if you want them. Note, their creamers are non-dairy, so fear not all lactose-intolerant people. The ambience is very hip. They have small tables to sit at and chat, and a few sofas as well. There's an auxiliary room that you can reserve. It has a large conference meeting table. Most often I see people just working in there. I come here every single time I get a paycheck. The royal milk tea and lavender teas are my favorite. They also have interesting brownies like taro, matcha brownies often and I like having an occasional adventurous snacks. The bubbles are dipped in honey so they're just the right amount of sweet and tangy. Regina, Julien and Norelle are very sweet and welcoming. They make the tea for me quick every time. A cute hangout spot to get bubble tea in Midtown. It is located near Ponce City Market/ Beltline (5-7 min walk) and offers many seating arrangements from a place to work, sofas and tables. We visited on Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy. We tried Strawberry Black Tea with boba and Thai Iced Tea with boba. I've had Thai Iced Tea and this place had the least amount of sweetener. I asked for condensed milk which how I normally sweetened Thai Iced tea but they said they didn't have any and put more syrup or honey. I later saw on the wall that Honey Bubble purposely makes their drinks less sweet to maximize the tea flavors so keep that in mind! Since this place is right down the street from where I live I have to check it out! I went here on a Friday night around 7/8pm and not a lot of people where here. I guess it's because it just opened. As me and the bf walked in we were greeted by a ni hao (hello) in Mandarin Chinese. Since bubble tea is most popular and originated from china this makes sense. I had the chai tea with bubbles since they don't have aloe jelly yet. Bf had the royal milk tea with tapioca. Like most reviews has stated the chai tea taste like Thai tea and I agree. But the flavor is not as strong and it's somewhat lacking. Wasn't as sweet either. I didn't like it. But I like the bf's royal milk tea more and end up drinking more of that. The royal milk tea has a sweeter taste but still not as strong as other bubble teas I have had at other bubble teas location. Honey bubble's price is slightly higher than other bubble teas place (Lattea, Snow mountain, Quicklys). And they only offer three toppings Compare to other places. But at least at honey bubble they offers my two favorite which is coffee jelly and aloe jelly but I prefer fresh aloes. Overall I would come back to try other stuff that they are offering. This place is hands down the best bubble tea I've ever had. They actually brew their teas daily (many places use a powder mix) and allow you to choose from either black tea or jasmine green tea and then add a flavoring along with different types of boba (tapioca bubbles) or other additions. A large is $5 which is reasonable and they also carry a decent variety of baked goodies from Alons which are quite good. Free wifi and a fair amount of seating makes this a good spot to do some work while you grab a tea. Can get a little busy at times but usually seats are available. But patrons, one taste per guest (it's indicated on their board.) In terms of drinks, your options are milk tea, non milk tea, coffee, slushy. I appreciate how the employee offered us a sample of the milk tea flavors before we settled on something. She told us the two most popular items are the Royal Milk tea and the Thai tea. For those who like to live their lives to the extreme, you have the option of inundating your teas with craziness; like boba, aloe, AND jelly. Omg! Finally a bubble tea shop inside the perimeter. As soon as I heard about it I knew I had to come and check it out. Previous reviews are right in the sense that from outside it does looks like HD in Virginia-highlands. The place is clean and chic. I decided to go ahead and order the signature bubble tea with tapioca pearls and it tastes amazing! I regret not having ordered the big size for just one more dollar. I could easily get addicted to this place. Why not giving it 5 stars? I've been here a few more times since my first visit. Reason why I give 3 stars is because the drink prices went up and for the macarons.. Can't remember precisely how much their drinks were before (3.xx) but now a medium is $4 and large is $5. That's quite a lot for bubble tea, and their mediums are more "small" than "medium." Anyhow, the drinks are still pretty good-- last one I got was the matcha bubble tea. The 2 macarons I tried were warm and thus not so great tasting and not worth paying $2 per macaron. Bubble Tea was pretty good. I had the traditional flavor. They put ice in it which kinda made me angry as they didn't ask me ahead of time. But I guess that's what they normally do, so if you DON'T WANT ICE make sure you tell them b/c they put a lot in there. But other than that the Tea was good. On lines with other bubble teas I've had. I think I've had slightly tastier bubbles at other places though (yes they don't all taste the same) The decor was very nice and very comfortable. We just chilled and relaxed for 30mins. Our tea was done in less than 10 b/c of all the ice!! We also had a cupcake (which was from Highland bakery). Pretty disappointing but not holding that against them. I'm not sure how I have gone so long without ever reviewing Honey Bubble. I have been here about 50 times in the past year - not kidding. This is my all time favorite bubble tea joint in Atlanta. The location is wonderful right off Ponce. Parking can be tight, but luckily they have an entire lot around the corner. The ambiance is very chill and the staff are always pleasant and ready to help. They have a huge selection of teas and if you are not a tea person the even offer coffee. You can order one of the signature bubble teas or create your own. Honey Bubble even has a good selection of Jellies and pearls to add to your drink. If you don't like tapioca you can add the coffee jellies which happen to be my flavor of choice. Their selections are also pretty friendly to the community of lactose free and gluten free customers. I have tried many of their flavors and the signature Royal Honey Milk Tea is still my top choice. I like that the consistency is creamier and not as watered down as many bubble tea places. I'd recommend trying it if you are looking for a fun coffee or dessert alternative. read more

The BF and I stopped by Honey Bubble for the first time this past Sunday to satisfy my bubbly cravings. I stuck to my usual favorite of taro bubble tea. I had it with soy milk and bubbles. My BF tried the Royal Honey Bubble Tea. We both thought the drinks were good, but it definitely wasn't Snow Mountain. (Snow Mountain in Johns Creek is my FAVORITE place for a bubble tea fix.) The bubble tea at Honey Bubble wasn't as sweet as other places. The bubbles were a bit to soft. It didn't have that chewy factor anymore...but I guess that's better than hard under cooked bubbles. The price is almost double what I'm used to...so that definitely is a minus. Overall it wasn't bad and I'd go back...but it's not my favorite. This little spot is awesome! Super modern, chill relaxed atmosphere with a very diverse group of people constantly coming in. It is different than any coffee/tea/whatever it is. You just have to go. It's not too expensive, their prices include the tax already so you know what you're buying. There are couches to relax on, study, read, or catch up with friends. I forgot to ask for a stamp card :( but I suppose it's ok since honey bubble is a good 20 min drive from my office so I shouldn't be going down there that often anyway... I've been looking for a bubble tea place since I got back to Atlanta a few days ago and found this one due to the beautiful world of yelp! The outside sitting area consists of a few seats with tiny tables. It could have been a lot better. I walked in was pleased: the inside is much better than the outside. I skimmed the menu to view any new options. I saw a category named snow capped slushies. I asked the cashier what it meant that the slushy was snow capped. She gave me the degrading laugh and says "It's snow capped, meaning blended with ice. You don't know what snow capped is?" I'm sorry, I thought that when you order a SLUSHY, it's already implied that it's blended with ice. Never have I ever ordered a SLUSHY that wasn't blended with ice. I proceeded to order a strawberry kiwi "snowcapped" slushy. Whole waiting for my drink, I saw that They had many delicious looking bakery goodies for good prices. The portions are huge.
