Love this place! It's a cute little boba joint right off of Ponce de Leon. I'm a huge fan of Honey Bubble's teas, bakery goods, and atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of teas and milk-teas, in addition to soy milk, silk, and Lactaid, which is great for the health conscious and lactose intolerant, which is me. I've tried their royal milk tea (awesome), lavender tea (ehhh), and taro bubble teas (out of this world), and I'd definitely advise anyone to go with taro. Their boba is delightful and cooked properly, and they even have lychee pearls and jelly flavors to pick from as well. Their bakery goods are a mix of stellar and meh. The macarons are my favorite things there, hands down. Their black currant macarons haunt my dreams, and the raspberry-lychee and lemon flavors come in close behind. There's a freckled yellow-and-brown one that I'm warning you to stay away from. Their cupcakes, brownies, and cookies are all quite tasty looking, though I haven't tried them out yet. Their scones are pretty sub-par which I am sad to say. They were very dry and further on the bland side than a scone ought to be. The atmosphere here is built more around a laid back, artsy lounge than what you'd expect from a tea house, which I find refreshing. It's a little cramped, but definitely comfortable. There are couches, comfy chairs, tables, and wall decor supporting local artists (yay!). Overall, I love this place. If you're in the area, it's totally worth dropping by (and as the various other reviews state, save yourself some parking related heart-ache and plant your car around back). read more

Such a great concept -- thanks for coming to Atlanta! The pearls are soft and sweet -- just like we loved on a recent vacation to Singapore -- and the tea was very tasty. Can't wait to go back. The service was friendly and efficient -- they made us feel welcome and were ready to help but we didn't feel rushed at all. And they did this so well while also efficiently preparing other orders. Nice job, Honey Bubble people! The only suggestion I have is to offer more appetizing pastries. They have a case on the counter which features items from well-known places in Atlanta (like Alons and Highland Bakery) but the items didn't look or sounds good at all. The section was also odd. We would have loved to grab a great, basic cupcake (like red velvet or chocolate) or a yummy cookie or brownie or something. But nothing really jumped out at us. Honey Bubble has such a fun, happy place with a drink menu that got the excited. I wish they had something sweet to eat that did the same thing. I went with my family and frnds today . We wanted to try this place for awhile. We were really disappointed with it not because of the product they sell but the way their service was .The A/C was not working and it was nears 90 degrees inside .And there were only 2 employee working. And there were around 20-25 customer orders. When one of the customer brought it to owners' attention- that it is not a good Pratice to hv employee work in this hot temperatures . The owners threatened the customer that he will file a false complain against him as trespassing. The owners used abusive words - f*** words on the customer . There were young teens and college kids, families inside the restaurant , and this behavior of the owner was not acceptable . They may hv good product , but I am sure I am not going to encourage business which disrespects people. Bad management .. We are in 20th century , plz learn to respect ppl. read more

I reached out to you several times before I ever wrote this review! You did not care. Clearly you still do not care because you are continuing to insult me. By telling me, the customer, I'm not being truthful! Again, I have zero reason to lie! YES, it happened at THIS location! Most of your staff knew me. Because I was a loyal customer until this happened! No I did not know the crew that was working that day. This did happen over a year ago. Yes I tried contacting you the owner/manager. We have been at this place couple of times. I really like the product so I went today (Sep 5, 2016) with couple of many friends. We observed that Temperatures were 90 inside the restaurant and there were only 2 employees working. By the time we reached to the restaurant they had around 20 customers waiting and there was constant flow of customers. One of the customer, who was a college kid took the situation to the owners notice and the owner threatened the kid saying that he will file false cases against the kid and used abusive language like f**k infront of all customers that contained kids, ladies and students. Been going to this place for a while now and feel like I have to write a review. First of all the drinks are great, you do have a choice of making your own milk tea every time. From choosing from the type of milk to the type of tea. My favorite have always been the "honeydew green tea with lactaid milk". Very nice atmosphere with decent music choice. The only thing that confuse me is why do they constantly have new faces. Employees wise I mean, are they getting paid enough? I mean the tip seem high, the location is great, plenty of parking on rear (which is hard to find these day.) Anyway...At least you always have somebody making your drink, lolz. Honey bubble just right on ponce de leon in midtown, cross street of Clairmont Hotel, honey bubble serves fresh daily blacktea , green tea, royal milk tea and thai tea, they also serves whole milk, lactaid milk and organic soy milk to fixed the bubble tea, they have Free WIFI to work on your computer, small conference room up to 15 people, free charge but you have to make a reservation and not allow to bring outside foods and drinks. Just got word that this place is mostly managed by someone who's not Asian. I feel conflicted about bubble tea places that are v obviously Americanized and not owned by an Asian person. On one hand, I'm glad cultures beyond Asian ones are enjoying bubble tea; on the other hand, I'd rather support Asian immigrants. The bubble tea here was fine in and of itself, but I'd really much rather support the Asian-owned businesses. Gonna make the trip over to Buford Hwy or Duluth next time I want bubbles. read more

I've been going here almost daily as it was such a unique drinking experience. Bubbles in tea? Really? Well try one! You won't be the same after. I tried this week their large Tulsi Chai Masala teas with milk, sweetened with honey, with bubbles. They're always super helpful when I'm trying out new combinations (such as the one I tried earlier in the week). Also splurged on some of their delicious macaroons. read more

Honey Bubble is THE best tea experience that I've ever had. I live in Greenville, SC, and Honey Bubble was recommended to me as a must-try by an Atlanta buddy, and I've been hooked ever since. If you are a "boba-head", this is not the place for you. If you are a "common person", this is the place for you. Awesome little spot to relax or have a business lunch/meeting. They have a conference room in the back corner. It's simple yet a 5 star spot in my opnion! The prices are very modest and the taste is great. I had no idea this place exited but I was invited there for business. read more
