I took my sister here for her birthday for us to get permanent jewelry. We both did anklets and are both happy with the jewelry so far. The space is simple and cute, the service was friendly and so far I think the anklets are good quality and should last us a pretty long time. On Instagram one of friends shared that she got a "permanent jewelry bracelet", I was super intrigued because I LOVE jewelry! Then I saw that Honey was a new locally owned business so I had to go support them! When we walked in we were immediately greeted by Anna (the owner). She was very welcoming and so sweet! She explained the process and pricing so well! They have Gold, Gold Filled and Silver chains to choose from and different styles for each one. Depending on which style you choose and if you want a necklace, bracelet, etc., will determine the final price of your jewelry. What makes it "permanent" is the clasp is welded together (don't worry it doesn't hurt- they put a piece of leather in between your skin and the jewelry). I decided on the "Megan" chain. It was $6 an inch, you can also add charms! I decided against a charm because I have another necklace I will wear with this one. Overall, I LOVE IT! I am going to add a bracelet once it warms back up. I also plan on adding another chain! Anna is so sweet and the inside is beautiful! They have so many options to choose from! I can appreciate when a business is willing to admit mistakes, and then go above and beyond to try to correct them. After having an issue with a bracelet falling off day of, the manager was willing to do the right thing to help correct the fault. The permanent jewelry chains (haven't done any charms so can't attest to that) themselves are amazing. They are easy to clean, and I haven't experienced any sort of issues with discoloration or tarnishing when doing proper cleaning. When soldered on, and checked properly- these bracelets truly do hold up. I wore my for over 6 months with no issues. They have appointments as well as walk-ins which is super convenient for spontaneous decisions. Definitely the place to go if you're looking for good customer service, as well as quality. Just make sure all the tests are done to ensure maximum chain strength! read more
