It's a tiny theater that is first come, first served. The sign at entrance says capacity is 100 people. Every seat is good view of the stage in front. Small orchestra section of 3 people on stage right at least for this production. Nice to support local actors. . My first time here on the sold out closing night of the show. I enjoyed the show. Parking is limited on the upper lot where the theater is, so get there early. Then second lot on bottom with stairs leading up to the theater. Finally street parking below by entrance. Well seeing a show here, is less crowded and more relaxed than a bigger city like San Jose and San Francisco where you have to fight with big crowds and hunt for parking spaces.

Shely &…read moreher husband, along with Miss Grace have been very helpful, patient, and kind with me and my daughter regarding any of our questions or needs. They are very flexible, which I appreciate as my daughter is signed up for Saturday morning class but sometimes that is not always manageable so she's allowed to attend the Monday class when she can't make the Saturday class. Miss Grace has been my daughter's teacher since day one- another big plus! I've seen many programs (especially children's programs) where the teachers/coaches/whoever change frequently and that can be disappointing since children are creating trust and attachment, the consistency in routine is lost and it makes management look bad. Seeing that Miss Grace has never missed teaching a Saturday (or Monday) class shows me that she loves her work, she loves the children and Shely likely is a good employer. At least, that is my assumption. MIss Grace has also been assertive in letting me know when my daughter has misbehaved, another quality I appreciate. I am not looking for someone to coddle my child- I'm looking for a professional who takes their role and their art seriously. Not because I am a Stage mom but because I want any interest my daughter takes on to be reciprocated with the same respect and dedication. Who wants a coach who lets kids run crazy? Who wants a music teacher who lets the student continue to sound awful? Who wants a dance teacher who lets children goof off and be a brat during class? I don't! I never took dance classes to know if Shely Pack Dancers is the next Twyla Tharp Ballet Company, but my gut tells me it's an excellent place for my child to learn dance.

My daughter's previous dance school closed down and due to the pandemic she fell behind on her technique. I was worried it was too late for her- but WCDC helped her so much! Her skill level and technique for an 11 year old is impressive and I owe it all to Angela and her staff. Angela is great! She so calm and collective, not a ordinary dance school director. I always recommend WCDC to those who want to start their kiddos in dance.

The Alpaca Barn is wonderful local place to listen to listen to live music. The owners host…read moremultiple events per year. Both inside the Alpaca Barn. And for larger events outside on the lawn too! I have been to the barn for multiple event. But one of the biggest and best events is the yearly Harvest Festival held on site. Last year's Harvest Festival 2024 had two soundstages, vendor booths, a food truck, and lots of different drinks available to suit most anyone's desires and needs. Plus other foods too. And the music with 8+ bands ran from 2 PM until long after I left at 10:30 pm. They also have Alpacas on site in their fields that are friendly and come to the fence to feed and pet. There were games and other activities to keep even the kids happy all the time I was there. I love this place! A plus is most of the events at the Alpaca Barn Studio and Soundstage provide at least some benefit Second Harvest Bay Area Food Bank. If you want a cozy and welcoming place to listen to all kinds of music then the Alpaca Barn Studio and Soundstage is the place for you! Bonus points,,, It's a short walk to Montara state beach from here! A beautiful local beach! And there are hiking trails up Montara Mountain close by too.
