Andy was a huge hit! The kids absolutely loved him. And Andy was such a trooper. It was over 100 degrees, and he played a 45 minute show in that heat (in the shade). But the kids were dancing their butts off even in that heat! I was super impressed. He's just so great with the kids. Andy is also very professional and very kind to work with. We scheduled in advance, and he was very good with communication. He was very patient that I forgot to send him a requested play list until the morning of (not cool on my part). He was very gracious and never complained about working in that insane heat. I was very impressed and very grateful. The kids loved him and the parents raved about him. Everyone was very excited that I bought CDs to give away in the treat bags for the guests. I highly recommend purchasing some CDs to give to guests. Please support Andy Z because he's an awesome guy and is amazing with the kids! The funny part was when I asked him about certain models, he google searched and read the content back to me. Hmmm... could have done that myself with more efficiency but giving him credit for the effort. The second staff had no interest to serve me obviously, sharing little information on the differences of the models while hoping to land a sale with such hasty service. No thank you. Our daughter had had several other teachers who were fine but not fantastic. Last year, we were fortunate to come across Joy Han. An acquaintance of ours spoke highly of her, so we contacted Joy to schedule a tryout. From the very beginning, Joy demonstrated care, knowledge, and passion for music that was a great fit for us. She has students with many different ability levels, and our daughter has thrived under her tutelage. Joy makes lessons fun and productive while making sure the kids push themselves to get better. When one of our daughters grew frustrated with her own progress in piano and asked to end her lessons, the owner of Myriad Music suggested to try private lessons (at the same price) on a different instrument. We took her advice and it worked! That daughter started ukulele lessons with teacher Matt and absolutely thrived. Our third daughter really wants to join her sisters at Myriad, so we're looking forward to enrolling her soon too. The owner, Simone, is also active in the local community and schools. We originally found out about Myriad Music because one of her teachers taught music class in our daughters' elementary school.

Then the next day I get another email saying I was too late, even though I had responded before their deadline. Poor communication, and I don't understand why when I confirmed the first time, my spot wasn't booked. I'd love to find out if they were good, but they don't seem that interested in it.
