Onsite parking was $46 a night. Why? Plenty of parking and literally the only people working in the immediate area are from the numerous biotech companies so the place empties out after 5 pm. Parking should be included. View of bay was greatly appreciated. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Bedside lamp outlets and USB ports did not work. Clearly the hotel is older but somewhat remodeled. Vanity and toilet were clearly not in the remodel budget, as they both were older, lower versions. Shower head was high enough for someone 6'3 and had horrible water pressure. I'm 5'6. When will hotels be designed by women? No exhaust fan. Horrible lighting. Next morning I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Nothing special. Two eggs over Medium (that were over easy) , decent cubed potatoes and one, ONE piece of cheap wheat toast cut in half (unbuttered with two tiny containers of cold butter in the side). Do they know they are a Hilton hotel?The wait staff was friendly and accommodating but my easy breakfast took 20 minutes to come out. A waiter literally came out and told me "Your food is being prepared by the chef right now" at about 15 minutes after I ordered. What the heck? After I finished I hesitantly ordered two scrambled eggs to take up to my husband. I mistakenly did not check them before going back to our room. Yep, under cooked. How can you not know how to make scrambled eggs? At $5 per egg, I took them right back down and requested my money back. Instead of quickly refunding my money, the server had to first announce to the chef (while I was 10 feet away) that "the eggs were undercooked." To which the chef responded "UNDERCOOKED?!?" Seriously dude? This hotel served it's purpose but at $300 a night plus extra for parking and no breakfast included (also no complimentary hot tea, only Coffee) it was very disappointing.

A musician's dream!…read more Per the recommendation of our wedding planner, we worked with Hella Fitzgerald for our wedding in Big Sur, CA in August 2023. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I am a musician myself and had a lot of specifications for what I wanted throughout our ceremony, first dance, and dancing portions of the evening. And I mean a LOT of specifications! Music is something I am very particular about. Lilan worked closely with me on everything from which 2nd singer to hire to match the feel we wanted (the band works with various singers) to learning new songs that we had requested to adjusting songs to specific BPMs!!! She never seemed to lose her patience with me and would text me randomly with ideas or singer leads. One time she even texted me a couple vocal riffs she sang into her phone to see what I would prefer. We wanted a fun, sexy, big band feel and a talented group of musicians who could perform soul, Latin, swing, R&B, and everything in between. That is exactly what we got.
