They also have a HUGE selection of one of my favorite brands...Vuori. It's massive and that jeans I don't have to go all the way to Bloomington to shop for Vuori. The associates were extremely friendly and helpful. I also bought a pair of Vuori comfy leisure wear pants for my hubby. Definitely will be back!

Tucked away from the busy Water Street shopping area in downtown Excelsior, Ace carries a fantastic assortment of mens tees, sweatshirts, hats, jewelry, bags and grooming gear. I wish they had a location in Minneapolis proper (the vibe is perfect for the North Loop), but it's worth the drive. This will quickly become my go-to spot for mens gifts because they literally have everything you need to curate a unique gift set: Cool cards? Check. Unique candles? Yep. Affordably priced jewelry and grooming kits? Check and check. On a recent trip in I picked up a great gold bracelet, a locally-made wood storage crate for my dog's toys and a Huckberry tabletop fire pit, all for under $200 total. The bracelet is a great addition to my formal wear, while the fire pit is a nice fit for my small patio (clean burning using Isopropyl alcohol). The storage crate is short and durable, perfect for my dog to easily identify the toys he wants to play with. Service at Ace is excellent - All staff are super knowledgable of the products and will often tell you the artist or brand they're sourced from. I can't recommend them enough. Next time you're in need of a gift for the guy in your life, skip Target and head for Ace General Store!

I ended up purchasing two oversized tops, an athletic dress and a beautiful overall jean dress along with some cute blue buggy baby earrings to wear at my baby shower. While known for all the handbags, don't sleep on the earrings and boutique clothing. The clothing isn't for everyone, but if you like baggy - they have what you need. Every product is color coded and the plethora of earrings could take months to observe thoroughly. While there are tons of handbags, I actually think there are far more earrings and jewelry pieces. There's a single dressing room at the back of the store. They advertise for 3 items only, although, I think they should update this policy. I followed it by hanging everything directly outside the dressing room, yet it felt pointless to reach my arm out when I was done with 3 items just to swap out for new items. I loved all the bag options. My favorite one was a pink teacup. There were bags resembling books, a Rubik's cube and so much more. Luckily today when I stopped in, everything was 20% off. However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.
