I knew that vintage dresses were small, and I knew that they often had super poofy sleeves. Awesome. The dresses were all so fun and truly unique. The best part, however, was wonderful atmosphere that Nikolina created for myself, my partner and the rest of my little group. I absolutely was not not (NOT) looking forward to shopping for a wedding dress. Frankly- I was pretty grumpy about it. I hated the whole idea of being the center of attention and buying a fancy outfit made someplace far away that I would wear once. However, within the first 10 minutes I was completely at ease! This was not one of "those" wedding shops. Nikolina was the perfect combination of direct, knowledgeable and empathetic. She selected beautiful dresses for me to try on and I found several that I truly liked during the appointment. I ended up leaving with a beautiful dress the next day that I am very happy with! I could have probably gone on ebay and found a "vintage style" dress that met my needs for dirt cheap. There are private suites and so much more room which allows for more comfort. The budget friendly options start at $800 (used to be $500 but prices have gone up considering the cost of everything going up which is understandable). This was the old The Woods gift shop. I feel like being offered a bottle of water would be a nice touch since you have to pay to even have an appt. I wasn't allowed to "shop" the store with my daughter and she was really rushed and pressured to try on dresses that weren't her style. We were never given a moment to even talk about the dresses privately, it all just felt very impersonal. She asked the canned questions of course, but it didn't come across as genuine. I had high hopes, but it fell short. Will definitely purchase from a different boutique.

Had a good number of trousers, leather jackets, jeans, cashmere sweaters, skirts, and a variety of shirts. Not so many dresses, unfortunately. I got a lovely knitted silk shirt for $36. There are 3 changing rooms in the back and the staff were very lovely. It is located in downtown, so you'll likely have to pay for parking.

I've only seen young ladies wearing the big dresses when they celebrate becoming a teenager but never looked into the price. These dresses were beautiful and expensive. There's many options in the store and more in the magazine to order. The store owner is super helpful and have us recommendations.
