I would not return. The overall experience felt rushed, uncomfortable, and below standard. I initially came in for a fill-in while also receiving a pedicure. From the start, the nail tech complained that I "needed a full set" due to some lifting, which was surprising, as this has not been raised as an issue in my prior nail experiences. Rather than continue with the negativity, I chose to switch to a soak-off and then asked for a basic manicure with clear polish afterward. During the soak-off, my nails were already soaking in acetone, yet the tech attempted to forcibly pry off acrylic before it was ready, which caused significant pain. I reacted because it hurt and even asked whether they would want someone to do that to them. Instead of apologizing or slowing down, the response was defensive, with repeated statements about cameras and claims that they had "been nothing but nice and gentle," rather than acknowledging the discomfort or de-escalating the situation. After that interaction, I did not feel comfortable continuing to speak up, as it seemed any concerns would be met with defensiveness. As a result, I simply wanted to finish and leave. Following the acrylic removal, the basic manicure consisted only of clear polish. There was no hand soak, no lotion applied, and no cuticle oil applied afterward. My hands were extremely dry, and I had to apply lotion myself using the complimentary product provided at the end. The pedicure was also rushed. While cuticle oil was applied to the toes and I declined the optional massage, lotion was not applied to my legs or feet afterward, and routine cleaning under the toenails was skipped during my pedicure. Declining a massage should not mean skipping basic finishing steps. Although a small adjustment was offered afterward, it did not make up for the lack of care, professionalism, and attention to client comfort throughout the visit. read more

I came here for dip powder and I can guarantee you that you will not get proper dip nails done here. All the reviews look like everybody here come for gel nails which may be the reason why most people come here but if you are coming here for dip powder nails this is not the place to go. She made so many mistakes on my nail and not to mention the fact that the work was not clean and all my nails are lopsided even after telling her multiple times to please make them straight. I booked pedicures for my daughter and me with a scheduled appointment time. When we arrived, we waited about 20 minutes past our appointment before anyone acknowledged us. At that point, an employee only showed me to one pedicure chair and appeared to have completely forgotten that my daughter also had an appointment. Instead of seating us together or explaining the delay, we were asked to stand next to another customer who was still receiving her pedicure and wait until that service was finished. Asking customers to hover over someone else's appointment instead of providing seating or communicating professionally was both awkward and inconsiderate. After waiting an additional 15 minutes without a place to sit or any meaningful update, I called another nearby salon and took our business there. I've been coming here for years and have never experienced customer service this disappointing. What bothered me most wasn't just the wait.. it was the complete lack of communication, acknowledgment, or apology for keeping us waiting well past our scheduled appointment. I started coming here for my nails and had great experiences in the beginning up until a few visits ago where I noticed rushing and overall quality of the manicure/pedicures becoming very mediocre. I remember going here from the first day they opened, everyone was so friendly and lately I have gone a couple of times and it has changed. I had Lily do my pedicure and the whole time she was just rushing. She filed my toenails with the drill that my toenails cracked a couple of days after just really bad experience. The last time I was there a normal pedicure was about 45 min. But not this time she finished in about 25 min. Just rushing seemed like she was pressure to finish quick and on to the next. They hid the prices from my friends charged them $45 for polka dots and $5 to sharpen the shape of the nail. their totals were $100 and $103 for a FILL IN. First time here. Promised my daughter a manicure. The location is bright and open. Welcoming staff at the front desk were eager to assist us. An abundant amount of colors and styles to choose from. Susan was a delight and gave my daughter time to choose her color. She was quick and efficient but not overwhelming. Some places have not worked for my daughter as they often are a little rough and not interested in helping a child. However Susan was friendly and went above and beyond by giving my daughter simple attention and a choice of two colors. I think from the photo you can see that smile says everything. She was so excited to have her 'creamsicle' oranges for summer! Plenty of stations and staff so no waiting. Pricing was competitive. I didn't really get into the full menu of offerings but the location is large and has several different areas designated for services. Complimentary drinks and snacks were offered in the waiting / drying area. They also offer cash discounts and rewards cash which I always appreciate. It's a nice nod to being a loyal customer. I had to give my information to the receptionist multiple times and it felt a bit chaotic/disorganized. I was asked to wait for a few minutes and so I did. I've been going to Honey Nails in Clifton every three weeks with my mom and sister for quite a while now. Every single visit, we all get the exact same services: acrylic nails with fill-ins, pedicures, and designs. I also consistently get my eyelashes done here. We've asked for clarification multiple times, and the staff either brush it off or give vague excuses. This place is great and I don't understand the negative reviews. One person says her gel was coming off 9 days later, but her nail growth at the cuticle tells a different story. No place is perfect, and if your technician misunderstands and isn't doing the manicure you want, everyone here would want you to say something so they can give you exactly what you're paying for. I would never give a negative review over a misunderstanding I was too "shy" to clarify. I get a great mani-pedi from my favorite young woman every time. Spacious, clean. The workers are courteous and do a good job. The price is comparable to other area salons. I didn't like that the pedicure stations are so separated from the manicure stations. I was getting a manicure while I brought someone who needs some assistance to get a pedicure. Usually when we do this we're able to be quite close to each other. I will say I communicated this to my manicurist and he allowed me to move to one of the mani stations where I was directly across from the pedi stations. I still had to turn around periodically to keep an eye on her, but the pedicurist who attended to her did a great job. Also, it would also be great if they had Dazzle Dry polish so it wouldn't be necessary to sit so long to dry nails with the fan. None of these details are problematic to knock off a star though. the good: new, clean, huge the bad: just about everything else. 1) new or inexperienced nail techs. #14 didn't know the products to use on a gel manicure, ended up cutting the finger of her client. 2) the spa pedicure (lavender) left my legs purple (excuse hairy legs, went for waxing at other establishment). they guaranteed it would come off, it did a bit, but a day later, still have purple legs. 3) there is a task master walking about at all times, hovering over nail techs, which is not conducive to a relaxing environment; 4) prices are ridiculous. $85 for gel mani and pedi that you can get at any other nearby establishment, for $60 and 5) the worst of it -- all nail techs are a number, no names, just numbers -- nope, not liking that at all. read more

Ive been doing my nails with them since September and it's been great. Now...last week I went with someone new because Zoey wasn't available for a pedicure since it was a last minute thing. I instantly regretted it. The nail tech drilled my toe nails so much they were paper thin. They didn't charge me for the pedicure but the damage had already been done at this point. They even added nail hardened but it wasn't enough. Not even a week later and my toe nail is broken in 3 different spots. Just be careful who does your nails at this place. So I was visiting family and really needed my nails refilled and saw this GORGEOUS salon. Called to see if they had an opening and they could take me right away. Going in you're told to choose your color and then you get taken to your table. They have such a wide range of colors it's so hard to choose just one. I was booked with Lisa, she was very fast, neat, and did my nails AMAZINGLY. She made sure all my nails were the correct length and shape as well as putting the color on perfectly with NO STREAKS. I've been so unsatisfied by my regular nail lady that I'm always having to go home and file my nails because she doesn't care to make my nails even at all but I didn't have to file any of them when I came here to Lisa. 100% recommend them and will gladly be going back!!!
