Loved how my nails came out and it was super sweet to gift customers a teddy bear for the holidays

Don't waste your time. I asked for coffin shaped nails and the nail tech gave me square because she was either too lazy to shape or was unskilled. Gave me a sloppy job, ugly, thick, uneven nails!! She was also rude and aggressive with doing my nails. Short red hair lady shouldn't be doing nails. Attached is the awful job as you can see. I can't believe she let me out of the salon with these, how embarrassing!

Tried Fashion Nails as I've tried every salon in town, I was surprised on how beautiful the salon is, everything is modern and new. There are plenty of stations as well as pedicure chairs. I can only attest to the dip powder as that's all I have had done there. This would be my third time and I am still very pleased. I always make an appointment and I have never had to wait they are very prompt with their timing. They have hundreds if not thousands of colors to choose from as well. Pricing is similar to the other salons in the area. They also do a discount if you pay in cash. Each time I have gone they have given me a little gift which i thought is so nice.

Thrilled this opened up next to Stop & Shop as we lost friendly nails during Covid. Friendly used to have the best spa pedicures and I have visited numerous local nail salons trying to find a place to get that awesome pedicure back. Sadly to no avail until I visited here today! Very beautiful inside and a plethora of colors to choose from! Super friendly staff, very comfortable massage chairs and very sanitary. What really impressed me was that everything they use is individually wrapped and discarded afterwards. Nothing except the polish is used on multiple customers. Even the callus scraper is not the cheese grater type they just rinse off usually. They have individual sticker like scrubbers that they use on a plastic tool and peel right off and discard after single use. Even the lotion is individual packets. They wore gloves and discarded as well when done. They have a menu of services to take home with you and you can see they pride themselves on their spa pedicure packages. Although the pedicures start at $26 and go up to almost $100, they are currently taking 20% off all services for their grand opening. I would only like to see a few small changes. I prefer the squishy jelly like stuff u can put ur feet in. They used more of a powder dumped into the water and I honestly don't remember even feeling any jet like water which would have been comforting. (the basins are even lined in disposable plastic after each use) I did notice though they start their timer for your leg massages, but then get up to grab something else they may need. Kinda felt like maybe you lose a minute - 3. Not a huge deal though at all for me. I did opt for gel polish but the curing light kept falling off the foot board. I got a great eyebrow wax which was quick, but even the bed was lined with paper. Everything I truly missed is now back! When u checkout you get a cute gift bag with a soft cloth in the shape of a bear to take home with you as well as a rewards card. After ten visits you get a free eyebrow wax. I would suggest maybe making it $10 off future service because not everyone gets their brows waxed. Pricing was very reasonable, but their money maker is all the various different spa pedicures you can choose from. Overall I was very pleased and welcome them to Lyndhurst. They also own another salon next to ShopRite of Wallington which is double the size! I will definitely return!

Bubbles from a freshly done fill-in

I have been going to Fashion Nails for 2 years. When I got my nails done in June, a blackish-brownish film developed on my nails. I went back a few days later to show them. I was first told that I had to pay $30 to get them fixed. Then I was also told it was my fault and I touched something to make them turn like that. Since I have been going there, a woman spoke up and said I do not have to pay the $30 charge and she would fix them. She did, but the brownish-black film came right back on all of the nails. The second time, bubbles on my nails too. I let that go and still wanted to go back because I wanted to give them a second chance. I went and got a fill in and gel pedicure. I got the fill-in first and right after my nails were "done" and I sat in the pedicure chair, all of my nails developed this brownish-black film again. The sides of my nails are all chipped and look sloppy. There are bubbles formed on my nails too. I told the owner and the woman who did my nails and they seemed unbothered. This is now the second time this has happened. She offered to "fix" them but it is clearly a problem with their lights and polish and "fixing" would not actually fix them. The icing on the cake was that the owner saw how terrible my nails looked and yet still charged me FULL price. Bad business. I will no longer be going back and I will not be recommending them.

Peeling clear polish and the cuticle is still raw even 2 days later.

Ms. Graciela did my nails and she did an amaaaazing job, my set lasted a full month with zero issues, & I'm not exaggerating. No lifting, no snagging cuticles, no need to apply glue, I did not have to do anything to them the entire month. If it weren't for the new growth, I probably could have gone even longer! Im sure it's not recommended, but they were so secure. For a first visit, I am super satisfied with the results. If I didn't live in Georgia, I would go to her regularly. Graciela has outperformed every nail tech I've had so far. Thank you for an amazing experience.

INFECTION!!!! BEWARE!!!!…read more (Pictures included, it gets worse & worse) We went in on April 16 for both my partner and I to get pedicures the day before our vacation on April 17. While I did notice dirty looks coming from both of the ladies performing the pedicures, I chose to focus on the quality of work rather than how uncomfortable both of these women (Irene and Diana) made us feel. Diana did a great job on my pedicure, so I will not criticize her work apart from the fact that she should keep her personal beliefs outside of her job. Irene, on the other hand, was completely dreadful. On top of making us feel incredibly uncomfortable, my partner left with both big toes infected. I've attached photos of the toes after the pedicure. We left for vacation on April 17, so I called the salon immediately. The daughter of the owner (I was never given her name) was very apologetic and gave me her personal phone number to review the photos of the poorly done pedicure. She gave me advice from her mother and told me to update her. I then texted her again on April 18 with updated photos showing that the infection had actually WORSENED after following what we were instructed to do. To this I never received a response... As a result, my partner was miserable throughout our entire vacation and was limping the whole time. I wasted $70, I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted some help to fix the horrible work that this woman did and was ignored. At this point, I hope the NJ State Board of Cosmetology will be better help. Even after dealing with this unprofessional behavior, I still paid & tipped without requesting any sort of refund (which, at this point, I am owed so it can atleast go toward any medical bill that the incompetence of your employee has caused). As I am writing this review on 04/27/26, the infection is still getting worse. Such a shame, I love supporting fellow Latina owned brands. Just shameful. BEWARE!!!

The prices are fair (I'll post the price list though there is a note saying prices are going up next week) and I like that there is parking behind the building in marked spots so I don't have to deal with street parking. The salon has WiFi, is very clean, and they have the widest assortment of colors I've seen. As a note, you can pay and tip via Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or cash without an extra fee. I believe they recently started to use a new system to schedule appointments. I called for my appointment and got a text confirmation as several of their options were only in Spanish so I wanted to make sure they were clear on what I was coming in for. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and I think they did a great job on both. The pedicure involved an optional cut and file, a leg scrub, cream, cuticle care with general nail cleaning, foot scrub, oil, astringent spray, hot towel, hot stones, and painting. The pedicure chair gave a nice massage and was clearly well maintained. They soaked off my old nail gel and cleaned up my nails for me as well as applied a scrub and lotion along with painting my fingernails. Obviously I can't speak to how long this current polish will last but in the past it's lasted for 3 to 4 weeks.

I think she just recognized me and realized I had my appointment. i've been going here for a couple months now and I haven't found a reason to stop coming. They do a great gel manicure and pedicure. I've never had a single ingrown nail never had a single infection or a problem. My nails are always done in a timely manner and done at exactly pretty much how I ask. I love all the women who work here they're all so great!!!

Layout, design, dryers; all the same as I remember. I went after lunch so was able to be seated quickly for my pedicure [ that's a plus ]. The chair I was in, as the others around me, definitely showed signs of major wear. The buttons for the massage remote were worn down. It worked though so that's easily overlooked. The lady who took care of me did a beautiful job. She took her time, never hurt me, gave a decent massage and painted my nails near perfectly. I would give her 4 stars, taking one off for there being paint on my skin. Overall, if she was working at another salon, I would definitely go back to her. My issue came with the price and fee. I was shocked to see that a regular pedicure was $31. I pay $43 at my usual place and with that, I get a sugar scrub, moisture mask, paraffin, and 15-minute foot massage with hot stones. The pedicure at Turning Point was your standard pedicure - no perks - with exception to the stones. I gave my debit card to the woman, and she told me it was $31. I asked if she could add a tip and she told me it would be $2 for taxes. There is a sign on the wall that says if you charge a tip, there is a $2 fee. I told her to add $8 which then would bring my total to $41. Not sure where those taxes are included in that total, but the math isn't mathing. I'm all for paying an extra fee with a credit card but most places don't charge for a debit. I don't see myself going back. It wasn't worth the cost.
