People are very friendly. But the nail work needs lots of improvement. I've been here too many times and ALWAYD have an issue with the nail polish. They don't seem to know how to polish and expect me to leave looking the way it does. I wish I could give them a great review but friendliness only gets you so far. Nails need to look good too. Went for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. Made them take off the polish after my pedicure paid and tipped and left. Unfortunately will not be going back!! read more

Don't waste your time. I asked for coffin shaped nails and the nail tech gave me square because she was either too lazy to shape or was unskilled. Gave me a sloppy job, ugly, thick, uneven nails!! She was also rude and aggressive with doing my nails. Short red hair lady shouldn't be doing nails. Attached is the awful job as you can see. I came to the Lyndhurst shop, as I live only about 2-3 min from there. I was originally going to the wallington shop, but my girl left to Ramsay, and after driving 26 miles to see her regularly, it got too much! I tried Lyndhurst, and will say that my spa pedicure was wonderful! Until my heel started bleeding. Took 2 weeks to get better. I asked for a French manicure, and it was quite nicely done. What wasn't, was the fill-in. My sides of my nails cracked after a few days, and by the second week, they looked more like a month. I went back to wallington, and must say, I'm very grateful and pleased. I think I'll stay there. read more

Tried Fashion Nails as I've tried every salon in town, I was surprised on how beautiful the salon is, everything is modern and new. There are plenty of stations as well as pedicure chairs. I can only attest to the dip powder as that's all I have had done there. This would be my third time and I am still very pleased. I always make an appointment and I have never had to wait they are very prompt with their timing. They have hundreds if not thousands of colors to choose from as well. Pricing is similar to the other salons in the area. They also do a discount if you pay in cash. Each time I have gone they have given me a little gift which i thought is so nice. read more

Thrilled this opened up next to Stop & Shop as we lost friendly nails during Covid. Friendly used to have the best spa pedicures and I have visited numerous local nail salons trying to find a place to get that awesome pedicure back. Sadly to no avail until I visited here today! Very beautiful inside and a plethora of colors to choose from! Super friendly staff, very comfortable massage chairs and very sanitary. What really impressed me was that everything they use is individually wrapped and discarded afterwards. Nothing except the polish is used on multiple customers. Even the callus scraper is not the cheese grater type they just rinse off usually. They have individual sticker like scrubbers that they use on a plastic tool and peel right off and discard after single use. Even the lotion is individual packets. They wore gloves and discarded as well when done. They have a menu of services to take home with you and you can see they pride themselves on their spa pedicure packages. Although the pedicures start at $26 and go up to almost $100, they are currently taking 20% off all services for their grand opening. I would only like to see a few small changes. I prefer the squishy jelly like stuff u can put ur feet in. They used more of a powder dumped into the water and I honestly don't remember even feeling any jet like water which would have been comforting. (the basins are even lined in disposable plastic after each use) I did notice though they start their timer for your leg massages, but then get up to grab something else they may need. Kinda felt like maybe you lose a minute - 3. Not a huge deal though at all for me. I did opt for gel polish but the curing light kept falling off the foot board. I got a great eyebrow wax which was quick, but even the bed was lined with paper. Everything I truly missed is now back! When u checkout you get a cute gift bag with a soft cloth in the shape of a bear to take home with you as well as a rewards card. After ten visits you get a free eyebrow wax. I would suggest maybe making it $10 off future service because not everyone gets their brows waxed. Pricing was very reasonable, but their money maker is all the various different spa pedicures you can choose from. Overall I was very pleased and welcome them to Lyndhurst. They also own another salon next to ShopRite of Wallington which is double the size! I will definitely return! read more

I have been going to Fashion Nails for 2 years. When I got my nails done in June, a blackish-brownish film developed on my nails. I went back a few days later to show them. I was first told that I had to pay $30 to get them fixed. Then I was also told it was my fault and I touched something to make them turn like that. Since I have been going there, a woman spoke up and said I do not have to pay the $30 charge and she would fix them. She did, but the brownish-black film came right back on all of the nails. The second time, bubbles on my nails too. I let that go and still wanted to go back because I wanted to give them a second chance. I went and got a fill in and gel pedicure. I got the fill-in first and right after my nails were "done" and I sat in the pedicure chair, all of my nails developed this brownish-black film again. The sides of my nails are all chipped and look sloppy. There are bubbles formed on my nails too. I told the owner and the woman who did my nails and they seemed unbothered. This is now the second time this has happened. She offered to "fix" them but it is clearly a problem with their lights and polish and "fixing" would not actually fix them. The icing on the cake was that the owner saw how terrible my nails looked and yet still charged me FULL price. Bad business. I will no longer be going back and I will not be recommending them. read more

Recently opened in area you walk in to a very very high end environment. It's nicely decorated and it smells chic. Plenty of stations and employees to accommodate your needs and services. The prices are reasonable. I had the full service manicure & pedicure. I was led to a very modern chair that's comfortable. The massage immediately begins to your level. The pedicure consists of green tea wash that feels fresh on your toes then a cream on feet and legs . You soak to bubbles and a ful scrub then an oil is placed that definitely compliments the work . My feet never felt better and softer. On too the manicure which was the dip . Here I had to indicate what exactly I wanted because I like my nails done a certain way but the lady was accommodating. The final result was very nice. Overall the experience was great and relaxing. They don't rush you out . The environment is calming and soothing. The staff was very friendly and clean looking. Always busy . There's not too much talking which allows for the spa experience. Everything looks and feels high end for now since they just opened. read more

I don't normally get manicures but thought I would treat myself to a gel mani on Saturday. It was a big mistake. I left with 4 bloodied fingers along my cuticles. The thumb should have been a warning when I pointed out that it stung and was cut from their smoothing drill. While smoothing the nail bed, the tip of the drill took off some skin along my cuticles. This one is a deep cut. Then the cuticles were cut and 3 more started bleeding. I asked that we stop with the mani and to just throw some clear polish on it instead. It is now Monday and they are still raw. Decided to leave this review, which I don't normally write bad reviews to be honest, after seeing that the clear polish is peeling off. To add insult to injury on Saturday, I still had to pay the full price. I got two sorry's - once with the thumb, then once more when the 3 other fingers started bleeding. Will never go again. Sadly, this would have been a convenient place to get nails done and then run next door for grocery shopping. My daughters have had their nails done here a couple times since their salon opened last month so I thought to try the experience for myself. read more
