    Stopped in from out of town and was really excited to find some plants I'd been wanting for a while. The shop is super cute and the plants are really well maintained. The shop owner (presumably) was so super knowledgeable and patient with my questions and she packaged everything up nicely, so my plants could make it back safely to Chicago. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

    This is my favorite store in all of Fort Wayne! I've been there several times with my family and we have never had a bad experience. They have an awesome selection of plants and cute succulents and cacti. They give you information on how to water and take care of your plants as well. The store is very clean with a modern vibe. The two people working there are very friendly and always were a mask and are very cautious with Covid-19. Overall, amazing store!

They come to your home and discuss what you want and then draw the plan out for you to see. I also went to the nursery & garden center to pick out the bricks from their inventory. Even this late in the season, they had a great supply available. They even allowed me to bring a few bricks home with me to be sure of my color choice. The brick installation was very professionally done by experienced crew. They even created the curve that I wanted to soften the area from all straight lines. My goal was to create a place to have friends over to dine outdoors and to be able to enjoy the afternoon sun rays from my chaise lounge. I had several driftwood roses planted and a couple of Rose of Sharon bushes and 5 arborvitaes for my privacy hedge. The trees provided the privacy that I wanted, too. The crew was friendly, efficient & professional. I've had a lot of people stop by to say how much they love the work and how great it looks. I've lived in many different places in Fort Wayne and have had Galbraiths' design and install all my landscaping.

Joe said it would take a month to get these items, and I agreed. When a month passed with no update, I called his office and was told it would take another two weeks. After waiting again, I called to schedule delivery and found out neither piece had arrived nor was on its way from China. I heard many excuses, but I still gave Joe another three weeks. Today, when I called, I was told there was another issue, and it would be two or three more weeks. Feeling deceived, I asked for my money back. I was told Galbraith could only refund $185, not the $595 for the pagoda, because it was a special order, even though both items were "so-called" special orders, meaning they are not in the regular inventory. I ordered both from a catalog Joe gave me, but they would only refund the smaller amount. A staff member told me I would have to wait even longer for the pagoda, but could not say when it would arrive. I was treated as if I should shut up, go home, and wait. No one apologized. Instead, a woman came out of an office to shame me and blamed their importer. She acted as if I should just accept the situation. When I ordered the two statues, no one told me I could not get my money back or cancel the order. I never signed anything saying that. I want my money back. I am 80 years old and know Galbraiths has not been honest with me. I feel they think I am not sharp because of my age, but they are wrong. One staff member tried to intimidate me, but I made it clear I am neither senile nor stupid, even though she spoke to me in a condescending tone. I wanted to tell her she was being rude, but decided not to; she was too uneducated to know better. Whoever parented her did not teach her respect for older folk. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and share my experience on social media to let others know how Galbraiths treats its customers, especially seniors. I will also file a small claim against them. I do not care about their problems with suppliers in China or shipping; that is not my responsibility, but they tried to make it mine. They refused to refund my money. I wonder if this nursery is having financial trouble since they will not refund me for a product I no longer want and have waited almost three months for. They have pagodas on display, but they are too small for my project. I am sure when my pagoda finally arrives, Mr. Joe can sell it in his nursery; he is a clever salesman. Galbraiths sells this type of art, so it is not really a special order. If it is, the long wait is their problem, not mine as the customer. I do not recommend Galbraith's Nursery.

To deliver the chair 20 minutes away charge 100.00 and then just to bring it in my house and set up which took me 10 minutes they wanted another 50.00. So thats 799.00 100.00 for a warrenty which shold have been included, then taxes,100.00 delivery and 50.00 for set up total 1099.00 some discount store. They say oh my bob should be oh my god. I ordered a significant amount of furniture for my home, my daughter's home, and my wife's office last year. And, as I stated before, I found the sales people helpful and the deliveries positive. But, WOW...Bob's service department is a complete mess. I had a very simple issue with my touch lights not working on a headboard I called about in January. First, they made me wait two weeks for a tech to come out and confirm what I already knew...the control box on the back has gone bad. Then I waited several more weeks before calling to find out when they were going to come out and fix it only to find out the part was delayed. They said they would cancel that order and order it again with a rush and have it within a week and after another two weeks of not hearing from them, I called again only to be told it wouldn't be in until May. Then they decided they would just bring an entire new headboard out, which just seemed silly given I only needed the box on the back, but I agreed and scheduled for today...another two weeks from that call. I was given a 3 hour window, then a message saying they would be an hour later than the window, and then called at the end of the hour later to hear it would still be even longer, which at this point would not work do to evening engagements. At one point, I tried to call and a person answered on their customer service line and proceeded to laugh for several moments before hanging up on me. When I finally did talk with a supervisor, my only resolution was canceling today's headboard and per my strong request, simply have the part shipped to me and I would fix it myself. Of course, no timeframe offered for when the part would get here and at this point I really don't expect it to arrive at all. Bottom line...no matter how helpful the sales staff is and the initial deliveries are, if I can't trust that any issues that come up with my guaranteed merchandise will be taken care of promptly and appropriately, I simply will not do business with them and I would encourage everyone else to think of the long game when making these significant purchases as well. Bob's really didn't back anything up from the initial assurances and guarantees made to me and now I'm simply terrified if anything more significant goes wrong with anything I've purchased from them.
