HoneyScent was lovely!! This place was amazing, so let me tell you all about it. First of all, I want to talk about the appearance of this adorable little spot -- it's beautiful! The décor was so nice, it smelled incredibly clean, and they played peaceful background music, which created such a relaxing vibe. Now, the place is a bit hard to find at first, as it's located down a small set of steps from the main street. I only noticed it because I happened to look down. When I walked in, I was greeted by a very sweet lady. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but she was a red-haired Ukrainian woman, and she was absolutely lovely. I came in without a reservation, hoping to make one, but she told me she was currently available -- I was so excited! I decided to get my eyebrows laminated and mapped. I hadn't had my eyebrows done in over two months because the woman I used to see for almost 14 years had moved to California. Since then, I'd been searching and reading about so many places -- and I finally found this cute gem. Before starting, she explained the entire process. Lamination takes a little while, and she even offered me water, which was very kind. As she continued with the treatment, she showed me the eyebrow mapping and asked if I was happy with the shape before waxing, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with how it looked, and she also took the time to explain the do's and don'ts after lamination. The entire process took about 40 minutes, and when she was done, I was absolutely in love with my eyebrows! I knew right away that this is the place I'll be coming back to every single time. The price was $100, which I found quite reasonable, especially since other places I looked into were charging $130-$150 -- which seemed a bit high. After I paid, she even offered me a free eyebrow gel as a gift, which was such a sweet gesture. I told her I'd definitely be writing a review about the amazing service. Despite not having an appointment, she was kind, accommodating, and efficient -- and I even got a free gift! Best customer service and the best results I've ever received! She spent an hour working on my brows, lip wax and chin wax. We love supporting a women owned business!! The studio in Flatiron area is so cute and cozy- with proper COVID restrictions set in place. I got the lash lift because my Asian lashes go straight down and the lash lift is safer than constantly using eyelash curlers. The procedure took 1.5 hours so feel free to take a nap! It was a very relaxing experience and she answers all the questions you might have. Also love that the lash lift lasts for 2 months even if you wash your face and wear mascara! AMAZING, Dope, Non-Toxic Lash Lift! First off I want give this establishment props for how incredibly clean & safe it was! I love that they only see one client at a time and they are located in a suite in a building in the Flatiron area so there is lots of privacy and you don't have to worry about people walking in off the street. The rest room is also next door to the suite & was impeccably clean as well as convenient as I wanted to remove my contact lens before the lift. I had a lash lift once before in LA and the difference between that one & this one is this lash lift felt here much more detailed. The whole process lasted about an hour and there were beautifully scented candles burning and classical music playing while Valerie attended to my lashes. I actually fell asleep it was soooo relaxing! Another difference from my previous lash lift in LA is the formula used at Honey Scent had no toxic odor whatsoever. I mentioned this and it's because they order a special formula direct from Italy and most salons in the US use a cheaper brand from China. I'm so in love with my lashes I plan to make another appointment for a brow lamination next. Their pricing is also reasonable compared to other salons but what really sets them apart is the individual attention & service you'll receive being only one client is seen at a time. read more
