I came to Brow Society after the recommendation from a friend. The website made it very easy to book an appointment, and I appreciate that all the prices are listed up front. Isabel did a great job with my brows and I would definitely recommend her! The actual estheticians tools seemed find, but overall I wish the salon was a little cleaner. I got my brows done here after yelping a place nearby to do them and checking Yelp and Reddit reviews. I really liked that she mapped my brows and showed me where I could fill them in/get work done. It was the first time I've ever had brown mapping done in the 15 plus years of getting them done. That being said, I get them done for less with better quality back home in Michigan. It was pricey and she unsold me on getting them tweezed verses a combination of teeezing and threading. Don't do it! In retrospect I wish I stayed with the cheaper, quicker, less painful option. Getting them individually plucked took longer and wasn't worth it. She left it full in places that didn't make sense and they looked too thin overall. Ultimately I'd go again due to the location being close by work and stick to the cheapest option. If I wasn't scared of the chemicals to get my brows inked, I'd consider doing them here. read more

I came here after never having my eyebrows done professionally but figuring it was time to try it. I did both brow shaping and brow mapping. I explained the technician that I really wanted my eyebrows to be symmetrical and that is why I was there. What a waste of money. The end result wasn't terrible, but it honestly wasn't that different from what I've been doing on my own for years with zero training or beauty know-how. It was also not at all symmetrical. It was not worth $65 (included tip). The technician kept trying to convince me to add on a totally different treatment unrelated to eyebrows, which annoyed me. Additionally, the technical threaded my entire forehead of its baby hairs (I don't understand why, as that hair is basically invisible). What resulted was my forehead developing the worst acne I have ever had in my entire life. I will say everything was clean and running on time, but this was just such a ridiculous waste of money. I'm glad other reviewers had good experiences, but I am never returning and will go back to doing my own eyebrows. read more

I was told i did not have to pay -- that is how clearly horrible they were. I am tempted to fly home and have my brows redone. I was initially worried about the permanent aspect of it but was tired of filling in patchy overplucked eyebrows from my misspent youth. Damn you, 90s! Santi is not only a lovely person who melts any worries or nerves, but is also very patient and attentive to what you want / need. After a few times of walking past here I decided to walk-in and see if they had any openings and thankfully they did! I am not the best with shaping, tweezing, or drawing in my brows so getting my eyebrows threaded is a must. I currently live in Hell's Kitchen so I was excited to find Santi. I went to Meg at the Brow Society based on previous reviews and I'm HIGHLY upset. This treatment was abrasive and has given me very painful burn marks and scratches. I got a brow lamination and tint and not only does it look like crap, I now have to wait months for this to heal & pay 1000s for lasers to remove the scaring from my face. I don't have sensitive skin, and I don't use anything else on my face that would have counter acted. I'm giving 1 star because at least the store manager gave me a refund for 5 1/2 hours wasted. They should have known better than to processed and scrub this hard 4 times. read more

I booked via ClassPass. I haven't been to Brow Society since they were in their old location so I had no idea that they moved and expanded to other brow specialists. I removed one star because I really wish that I knew who was doing my brows before I came in as I'm particular about my brows and looked forward to having Santi shape and tint them again. Instead I got Meg and honestly, I wasn't thrilled about it, but she handled my attitude with grace and professionalism, and my eyebrows came out better than I expected. I only did them myself the last few months and ruined them (tried my hand at tweezing) so I didn't expect to be in love with them, but I do like them. I also removed a star because Meg insisted on pointing the temperature gun at my head, and I 100% respect and abide by COVID regulations. However, businesses should be more conscious about pointing a gun (whether it's just a temperature gun or not) at someone's face. I explained to her that taking temperature on the wrist is valid and more accurate, and she insisted on pointing it at my face -- it's just not very conscious to someone's triggers and boundaries, but this is an issue that I come across more often than not with businesses that aren't aware. read more

I went back to Brow Society to get the Powder Brow procedure done this August and I LOVE it. I didn't think it could get look even better but then I went today for the touch up and OMG I feel like the most gorgeous girl in the world! This procedure allows me to have a semi permanent brow look that resembles putting on brow powder, hence the name. I absolutely love the way it turned out! I feel like it made my hazel eyes pop and now I don't have to touch my brows for 2 years! Actually I feel like if I just put on concealer and mascara I can call it a day now. I also feel like this particular procedure plus the tint take years off the face ... I feel like I look so much younger than I really am. The procedure itself was seamless...I literally fell asleep in the chair because it was so relaxing. Santi uses numbing cream and the pain is not bad at all. There's a teeny bit of soreness afterward but the after care ointment helps a lot with it. I am so happy and this is a procedure I will be doing forever now and highly recommend!!
