This place is awesome!…read more Current circumstances: The COVID-19 protocols here really make you feel safe while getting a hair cut: they sanitize between each customer, only you and the hair stylist in the room at one time, hand sanitized upon entering, stylist wore a medical grade N95 mask and a face shield during the cut and at the end of the day they use UV on indoor surfaces. My mother went to another salon who didn't even wear a mask! Come here for your COVID cut! The cut: I had Erin as my stylist. I went from a bob to a short pixie. An important part of the hair cut experience for me is the chit chat, and she was a natural, it really was a great experience. The cherry on top: my hair laid differently after it got use to the shortness and felt a little bulky in one spot, so I called her and she fit me in that day to fix it and I have the perfect hair cut!

There are about 7 people including other customers in the salon all who are now staring at me... so I said "I checked in online, would you like my name?" and she said "no we are booked!" It was so rude and embarrassing that I said "you know what, I did have an appointment but I will just go somewhere else, thanks". She rolled her eyes and went back to work. These exceptional and talented ladies know exactly what they're doing which takes away from the stress on your special day. Each one of them has their own unique story as to how they landed at the island from previously working at the MAC counter in California to vacationing once and never wanting to leave the island or meeting their husband on the island but the common theme is their love for the island and the love of make up and hair which showed in their work. The team really make sure you are feeling 100% before you leave to the venue, fixing last minute bobby-pin to changing the color of your lipstick completely because you didn't feel . Not to mention, they also took care of my mom and my MIL far after I left, making sure they're loving their make over as well. My wedding was back in Sept of 2022 and for me to now write a review shows how much of an impact they've made in my special day. I told them three things- I didn't want my ear to be sticking out, I didn't want my hair blowing in my face or sticking on me from the humidity and I'm very particular with the shape of my eyebrows. I spent days on Pinterest looking at different hair styles on how to hide my ear but the team took my inspo pictures and did their own thing, making it better than I can imagine.
