Many unique treasures to discover in the greenhouse, outer statuary, and inside the novelty store. Major standouts are the Corinthian chimes which are enormous and sound just like church bells. The proprietor reminded me a lot of my late/great father and it was comforting to hear him talk about plants and windchimes (two of my Dad's favorite things in life). My husband and I were looking for a few potted plants today and are thrilled with our finds. My kitchen window sill, living groom piano corner, and little outdoor flower bed all got an upgrade today. (See pics of what we brought home; repotting is happening later). We were amazed at how reasonably priced everything was and feel we got a fantastic deal at $33 for a hefty (unique) potted plant, some cute annuals and a couple pretty little succulents. I highly recommend Sunnyside nursery, and I personally look forward to getting back there when the need arises.

Meadow farms did not carry it as well. Pine strawreally dresses up your beds much better and I believe it keeps the weeds down better than pine bark mulch. Bobby was extremely helpful and I was impressed with the quality of the pine straw. The price was a whole lot cheaper that I had already priced out elsewhere . I had asked about Japanese beetle infestation, and how to prevent it. Bobby took my phone number down and later Jim called me.I could not believe how knowledgeable he was about the Beatles as well as roses. This is definitely now going to be my go to nursery! 5 STARS!

Two of the trees showed failing limbs almost immediately. We brought photos to the Stafford store and were told to fertilize--no improvement. We were then told to "wait until next spring." This spring, the same two trees are still struggling. We returned with photos and even performed the "scratch test" they demanded. The staff agreed the trees were in trouble but told us we had to call HQ. After multiple calls, voicemails, and being bounced around departments, we were finally told someone might get back to us in 7-15 days. We paid more at Meadows Farms expecting professionalism and a real warranty. Instead, we got delays, dismissiveness, and a warranty process designed to wear customers down. If I had it to do again, I would have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's--there, you simply bring the receipt back within a year and get a replacement. No hassle, no runaround. Meadows Farms wasted my time, treated us poorly, and did not stand behind their product. I cannot recommend them.

I called a few different florist but they did not have access to the military base. I reached out to the base to find out if they had any recommendations for florist that had credentials to deliver on base. They recommended Mary's. My daughter said the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and very good quality. She enjoyed them for her entire stay which was a full week. When she checked out of her hotel, the flowers were still very fresh and beautiful. She left them at the reception desk for all to enjoy. Thank you so much Mary for the pleasant conversation and helping me pick out the perfect floral arrangement for my daughter. This Christmas tree farm is absolutely amazing…read more The whole operation is well thought through. From the moment we walked up we were treated great!!! All the attendants and helpers were so kind and helpful. We followed the crowd to the spot where the tractor picks up customers (this is a very basic tractor wagon pull but it is slow so it didn't feel dangerous) dogs and humans alike piled up and we were on our way to the tree fields! We came with our two pups this year to help pick the perfect tree. We walked around for a litttle while examining allll the trees- white pine and blue spruce. Flat rate for each $100 for while pine which has longer needles that kind of fluff out at the ends and blue spruce that has smaller needles and looks like a "classic" tree. Last year around this time- we visited another Christmas tree farm and all the trees were gone and online younger smaller trees were left.....but here there was simply more space to grow trees and fields full still to pick from! We forgot to bring our own axe or electric chainsaw so we were able to borrow one from another guest. They did hang out simple band chainsaws but in our excitement we forgot to grab one before hopping on the wagon. We found 2 trees we really loved and opted for a shorter more robust white pine :) it was very healthy and sappy and we all loved it! Certainly requires some strong arms so please keep that in mind. We piled the tree on the wagon and hopped on to head back to the area where attendants helped us shake out the dry needles and wrap the tree to make it easily transportable. This whole experience was beyond a dream- so convenient with helpful hands to guide us through the process. BEAUTIFUL healthy trees, and complimentary hot mulled cider! This will be our new spot for our annual tradition from now on!! They also do pumpkins! I attached some pics of the website for more details- If you and your family are looking for a great Christmas tree farm, look no further. I noticed a lot of families with matching pjs so it's a perfect opportunity for a good photoshoot and family memories! This is the second time that New Orleans Style Snow Balls have come to our building. They were…read morehere a couple of years ago. At the time, they brought a truck and would give out cups with ice, and you got to add the syrup you wanted. There was a dispenser on the outside of the truck that made it easier to choose what you wanted and how much. This time, they sent a small van, and the "snow balls" were put in the kind of takeout containers that restaurants use to pack rice. In other words, they were small. The young woman serving the "snow balls" was very friendly. She was also the one who applied the syrup to the ice. We both got cherry-flavored syrup. These snow balls are very refreshing, especially in the summer. While we would have preferred a larger cup, we couldn't complain, as this was a freebie for residents (well, these things are built into one's monthly rent).
