He had about seven women working for him, now he's down to I believe three. Tendency years ago there were a couple people waiting with several women working but now very few people are going there and now you need an appointment. I sat down and we discussed for a minute or so and he got to work and gave a great cut. The shop was busy and inviting. I got the cut and a beard trim with hot towel and face massage for $45. BTW, that's how the cool kids say "get a hair cut" Walk in and BAM! lounge chairs and TV's as far as the eye can see(which isn't very far since its right when you walk in, but there are a lot of them). And there are even remotes lying around so you can put on my little pony.....ahem...aherm...cough..I mean sports center. Then they have these damn comfy barber looking chairs. Where did they get that idea, crazy, but it works. The girl that cut my hair was real friendly like and talked enough but didn't force me into conversation just to keep the silence away. POW! But be warned, the smile and nod technique is not recommended while getting your hair cut. Just an FYI. But the best part was after the hair cut and beard tightening (that's more hip talk) the shampoo turned into a 10min scalp massage !!KABOOM!! I know and the best part was that it was still only twenty some odd dollars. The only thing that could have made this better would be a liquor license. The stylist was very nice but unfortunately I am not happy at all with the haircut. the layers are very choppy and the "face framing" is just the large front section of my hair cut an inch and a half shorter than the rest with minimal blending into the rest of the length. There's even a section cut so short it looks like I have a patch missing (see photos). I called for a refund and offered photos but the customer service manager said per their policy, they don't refund. This isn't stated clearly on the booking site however it is in their FAQ section so just wanted to post the review to make others aware of the policy to avoid the frustration i'm feeling. She offered to book me an apt with someone else to fix it as part of their "satisfaction guarantee" but this was my first time there and if this was the work of one of their senior employees, then I'm not inclined to trust them again.
