I pretty much was able to ignore it. Phil has a tendency to focusing more on talking politics than on cutting clients hair, it got to the point where a client asked if he was on break because Phil was talking so much. He had about seven women working for him, now he's down to I believe three. Tendency years ago there were a couple people waiting with several women working but now very few people are going there and now you need an appointment. This last Saturday they were open and no customers. I wonder how they feel about Trump now.

I sat down and we discussed for a minute or so and he got to work and gave a great cut. The shop was busy and inviting. I got the cut and a beard trim with hot towel and face massage for $45. However, I do believe that putting real energy behind being approachable and friendly is important when you're feeling tired or something.. just about having a little etiquette (just my opinion) So.. I was unsure about the way she conducted herself with me. I wanted to be understanding but she just seemed uninterested in servicing me in general and apparently wasn't about to try to be anything other than "tired", like I should accept that as a paying customer. I also wasn't sure if she had dry humor or was really just coming off kinda rude. The actual service was just very lackluster

BTW, that's how the cool kids say "get a hair cut" Walk in and BAM! lounge chairs and TV's as far as the eye can see(which isn't very far since its right when you walk in, but there are a lot of them). And there are even remotes lying around so you can put on my little pony.....ahem...aherm...cough..I mean sports center. Then they have these damn comfy barber looking chairs. Where did they get that idea, crazy, but it works. The girl that cut my hair was real friendly like and talked enough but didn't force me into conversation just to keep the silence away. POW! But be warned, the smile and nod technique is not recommended while getting your hair cut. Just an FYI. But the best part was after the hair cut and beard tightening (that's more hip talk) the shampoo turned into a 10min scalp massage !!KABOOM!! I know and the best part was that it was still only twenty some odd dollars. The only thing that could have made this better would be a liquor license. She was nice but literally was calling me back, looking on her phone and Apple Watch. I could tell she was distracted the entire time. This was just a "procedure" going through the steps with very little customer service element.
