Hobbs Buffet is a former Furr's that has been purchased by new owners who kept most of the menu items, as well as the buffet format, in place. There are still some signage in place that indicate that this was once a Furr's. However, there is an addition of Vietnamese offerings which sets this place apart from a typical cafeteria. The management and employees were very friendly and certainly went out of the way to make sure my family and I had a good lunch. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable with a senior citizens' discount available. They serve Coca Cola products at Hobbs Cafeteria.
