This place does have lots of food to choose from, came here this last Sunday to grab a bite to eat with family from out of town. My family members have service dogs that are "medical service dogs" we had to wait for the people in front of us, and all the ones behind us to get their tables. My family members told the hosts that they are discriminating because they had "service dogs" and that she was going to call corporate and the medical association to report the discrimination from the hosts and front desk. After my family member told them that, they proceeded to sit us down in the corner as she had a very angry face. After we had finished our meal, my family member went to the front to ask for the hosts name, the lady refused to give her name as my Aunt stated she was going to contact the owner/corporate a lot this issue. If you have a "service dog" be prepared to be waiting longer than someone who don't. We will never eat here again. We are looking into possible legal action read more

I don't like going to places where you have to pay ahead of time, that's a bad sign. It truly was a terrible meal and it was way overpriced. I tried several different items and everything tasted old, leftover and had the toughest chicken in it I've ever tried to eat.. I finally ate Jello, it tasted ok. It's a beautiful place, it's a shame that it's so poorly ran, we will never go back. read more

I came to this family restaurant with my girls and one-year-old grandbaby to have dinner spending 50 bucks to eat here and my grandbaby was singing the itsy-bitsy spider along with loud radio if you've been to this restaurant you know it has a loud radio and several kids running around witch I don't mind because I mind my own business well am older lady walked up to me and my kids and told my 1 yr old to shut up that she was loud when I asked her to walk away several times she proceeded to calling my girls fat telling us we didn't need to eat this point the sweet waitress has told her to walk away as well and she proceeded then told me she was going to call CPS on me then I told her I didn't give a fk I was going to knock the shit out of her and to call CPS and all the other letters cause I don't care and still talking shit then I asked again for her to walk away before I get up and the fuck out of you if you have the strength to walk across the restaurant to talk shit to some children, then you have the strength to get shit you this point the manager comes takes this lady off to the side giving her special treatment for being a total dick not saying a single word to me or my girls who just were offended, so we gathered our things and left when I calm down and restaurant she only wanted to bring up when I had threatened her, not for the part that she approached me. I was treated like total shit by the manager, she said well I was going to say I was sorry but you left too fast. We didn't because I had to collect my thoughts because I have 1 millions of restaurants I have been to this is the only time this psychotic has ever happened to so I would not call this a family restaurant stars and they should seriously find a new manager who does the right thing. I haven't gone to a buffet in years, most are subpar and kinda messy. However this buffet acts as a departure from my childhood memories. The ambiance was great, sectioned well, decorated simply and the service was also pretty dang good. The food was quite great, sure buffets are naturally at a disadvantage as they can't make fresh food for every individual patron, but Hayashi was pretty close to the quality I've had at sit downs but with more choices to be had. The variety and options to get sushi or hibachi were also much appreciated. 12/15 only thing holding it back from 5 stars is no soft serve machine, otherwise an immensely satisfying buffet experience read more

I went in close to noon, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere perfect. I was a little nervous about the food before I hate, due to some bad reviews here, but my experience was amazing. I tried things like beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, baked salmon. It was all hot and delicious. Especially the salmon. I went back for a crab meat mix they served. Their fresh fruit was fresher than what I can find in grocery stores. It was a all good food, and the service was wonderful. I don't know if others who wrote reviews only caught them near closing, or what, but I had a wonderful experience, and the parking lot was full when I left. So others must enjoy it too. read more

The worst experience of my life. I went with my boyfriend for my birthday expecting a great meal. I tried a little bit of everything and everything was cold, soggy, and disgusting. It looks like they have never cleaned anything ever. Bathrooms were covered in water and paper towel. DO NOT GO HERE. I've never felt the need to write a review for any restaurant before eating here. I had high hopes going in and was immediately shocked at the prices. As I tried the food, almost everything I ate was either not fully cooked or just flat out disgusting. On top of the sketchy meal, service was non existent and I had to ask numerous times for a napkin. Swear the chicken was still making noise. Will update with the results of my bathroom remodel. Wouldn't have given it any stars but seeing you have leave one that's what they get. The food wasn't hot and the rice had dried out with crust on it. When server came out with new tray the fresh food was just dumped on the remaining food that had been out for a while. My husband and I ate a few of the same things but other items were different. Ended up with both of us ended up sick for two days. Will never eat anything there again. Food area needs more attention. read more

The food here is great, but it's not kept hot enough on the steam tables, and the plates are very cold. So, by the time you fill your plate and get to your table, the food is cold, which knocks something I would ordinarily give FIVE stars, down to three! First off, we sat down and got our drinks and there was a dark black dried paste like substance on my glass, which our waiter did not apologize, she just snacked it and walked away. The food was nothing special, the sweet and sour sauce was not good, and the rice did not sit right with me. The dessert was not the best either. As Buffets go,. its pretty darn good,.. as food flavor and authenticity goes,.. its So so ,.. but the real star players here are the staff on the floor ! I want to thank the young lady that sat me on Christmas Day / dinner and my waitress ,.. they where hard working young people that obviously had better places to be,, and the place had a serious rush at like 6:45 ,.. My table was cleared before I was actually done,, (that can happen at a buffet) but it was quickly rectified and I went on to finish and enjoy my traditional Christmas ritual.. one side note,. for a business that owns a Sushi place,. the sushi here is unremarkable... desserts as well.... read more

So took my daughter and grandkids out to lunch here, haven't been since it was called dragon buffet (which was disgusting and dirty to me), the new remodel looks amazing and the food is way fresher than before, the staff is really attentive and friendly. We stopped for lunch and they had a lot of food. Some dishes were piping hot and other dishes were stone cold. It was tasty for the most part although I must say, the crab rangoon was terrible. The server was attentive, more like hovering actually but the thing that really got to me was the fact they weren't cheap, not even reasonable, IMHO. They charged $5.98 for a small pot of hot tea for two of us and couldn't even refill it when we needed more before we were finished. I will not go back.
