Miss the old owners their food was spot on always fresh! these new owners suck, but their son or the young man is so nice. I ordered sweet n sour shrimp and when my wife returned home, we started eating and all my sweet and sour shrimp breading was raw inside I have a picture of it , took it back up there immediately the boy showed the cook the raw breading and he was yelling in Chinese some bullshit whatever, The boy came back and returned the money back to me. Poor kid he was so apologetic I felt bad for him. Kept telling him that it's ok it's not his fault. It's always a screw up with my orders and I'm done with this dump! And he's yelling at the kid but a coward won't come to the counter and deal with his customer who's order he screwed up. Panda Express is so much better with great customer service and respect. We ordered the Poo Poo Platter, Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Cashew Chicken. Everythng in the Poo Poo Platter was cooked to a crisp. Burnt. Very bland taste. The Shrimp had way too much breading which ruined the taste. They looked like corn dogs. The Cashew Chicken was bland, had little chicken in it and overall mediocre. 75% of this went in the trash. $40 down the drain. I recently moved to the area and found this place because it was right behind my house. I love it! I haven't had a bad experience. The portions are a good size, the food always tastes good and is consistently good which is important to me. They listen to my order details and don't get anything wrong. Hong Kong was always our go-to Chinese restaurant. this past Sunday we went to get our usual I don't know if they have new cooks, We ordered pork egg foo young and Mongolian beef the fried rice left something to be desired the fried egg roll looked burned and hard we did not finish the food 3/4 wents in the garbage. well, I believe we got food poisoning. Terrible customer service. Extremely disrespectful for no reason. They messed my order up and accused me of trying to get food for free when I Returned.... the "chef" came out of the back immediately accusing me of lying. I explained to them that I spoke with the "manager" and he told me to come back to get the corrected item- not once stating to bring the incorrect food with me. I would have had no problem doing that. Why would I drive 15 mins back for less than a ten dollar order. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and I was given a smaller size.. that's all the issue was. The worst!!!! Not only is the food terrible they didn't give me all of the food I paid for. After talking to the manager who hung up on me after I explained I was missing food kept putting me on hold and left me on hold until I hung up. My review was turned down because the one item I mentioned was not on the menu. I'll get to that. I ordered General Tso's Chicken, which was almost tasteless. My husband wanted the same thing with shrimp, and the person at the counter offered to make it for him, which he did. That was so bad that my husband wouldn't eat the leftovers the next day. This was take-out by the way. I covered my chicken with four packets of hot Chinese mustard so I could eat it. We won't be going back. We tried this place because our usual Chinese food place (King Chef) is closed on Sunday's. BIG mistake. The orange chicken was barely edible. It was such a pungent, tangy (not in a good way) orange taste. The crab rangoon was soft instead of crispy and it was about 90% cream cheese on the inside, 10% crab. Love this place! Have been here multiple times-it's our go-to Chinese take out. (There is a little dining area too.) We've always gotten excellent food in whatever we ordered. I love the egg rolls and chicken with lo mein noodles, my son loves the chicken teriyaki with noodles. My other son begs me for their ribs (not a bbq place-but theirs!) all the time. The food is cooked fresh and pretty fast when you order it. The portions are huge and we have another meal the next day. I love the carryout containers they give you-I reuse them ;) -they are the perfect size. Their menu is huge and it's kinda hard to decide what you want when you first go. They don't speak perfect English, so I usually just point to what I need lol. We've been meaning to get around to trying other Chinese restaurants, but this one wins out over trying a new one all the time. read more

Didn't quite match the Yelp reviews. The Spicy General Tso's was not spicy at all and had a thick tomato sauce that is not what we are used to on General Tso's. Pork lo mein was decent as was sweet and sour chicken, although sauce has a floral taste. Crab Rangoon was all cream cheese and no crab. All food had a pinkish tinge of color like prepared in the same residue of our General Tso's. Will keep looking for a Chinese food go-to. read more

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant came highly recommended by a friend, so I thought I would try for lunch. I ordered Szechuan Beef and white rice. Beef at a Chinese restaurant is always kind of iffy to me, but when right and tasty, it's a great thing... I just didn't want chicken this time, so I decided to go for it. I found the sauce ok, little sweet and a little bit on the oily side. The beef, I just couldn't eat, it was too soft, it was like eating part fat part meat. I am not sure how to describe the texture. It looked like most Chinese beef dishes, but I just didn't like the taste of the meat, as it didn't taste like beef. I wish I had ordered an egg roll or something more so I could have something else to try, maybe I just didn't order the right thing. I picked the carrots, broccoli and snow peas out and ate them with the rice. I will give this place another try, but not for a beef dish. read more
