Food was good service was quick like most Chinese restaurants. Shrimp with garlic sauce had a lot of shrimp.

I've been ordering from here for about 15 years and I've not had a disappointing meal in all that time. The lunches with the fried rice are a great value and oh so good! Moo Goo Gai Pan and Orange Chicken are my favorite meals and my mom loves the Pork Egg Fu Yung. We also always order Crab Rangoon, Steamed Dumplings and the Egg Rolls and they are all scrumptious. Honestly this is like run of the mill good Chinese food but the customer service here sucks. When you call they are not friendly. Honestly they are borderline rude. However, the food is still good and this is a review on food and not their people skills. I have found that this place and Yummy Garden are equidistant from my house and if I have a choice between good food and rude service or great food and great service I will always choose the latter. If you find yourself in the same predicament, choose Yummy Garden. If you live closer to China star, grin and bear it cause the food is still really good. read more

New to the area and tried delivery...it took two hours!! I ordered Mongolian Beef and received a box of onions, not scallions, thinly sliced overcooked onions in a sauce that had very little flavor. This is now officially tied for first place as my favorite Chinese restaurant. Lin is very outgoing he likes to talk a lot like me. I had my test dish which I always judge a restaurant by and that's chicken egg foo young. It was delicious and he brought me a complimentary bottle of cold water. Very, very TASTY! My husband and I are avid Chinese food lovers. We needed to find a place that reminded us of our favorite place from home and this place WAS IT! It only was the food amazing, but the service was too! Everything was cooked perfectly and to order. The staff was very friendly and even offered me a drink as I waited. They all respectfully practiced society distancing and sanitizing. Everyone wore masks and that made me really happy. We ordered a lot of food for our whole family and barely spent $60! My family and I placed a large order which included house fried rice, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, wonton soup, ribs, and egg rolls. Everything was delicious! The house fried rice was full of meat and veggie, including bean sprouts which I've noticed a lot of Chinese restaurants skipping out on lately. The wonton soup was really taste and had large wontons, and the Mongolian beef was flavorful. They also added a bunch of cream cheese rangoons for free, which was a really nice touch. My wife and I decided to give this place a try, can you say mistake. We ordered general chicken combo and orange chicken combo they came with pork rice and an egg roll. Both dishes were horrible, you couldn't tell them apart by look or better yet even taste if it weren't for the name written on the cover. They were just simply sweet and sour chicken with light sauce. The rice was totally flavorless. First and last time at this place. We regret tipping out on our faithful and tasty China Town.
