We then ordered the manga, kiss me, starburst, and snowwhite dumplings. The kiss me dumpling was filled with chicken, ginger, shallot, and soup. It was super flavorful and simple. The starburst dumpling was filled with chicken and Luyu homemade soup in a fruit infused flour dough. Honestly tasted pretty similar to the kiss me dumplings did not taste fruit. The Snow White dumplings were adorable as they looked like bunnies. They had shrimp and a delicous sticky exterior that was made of potato starch dough. Our last set of dumplings were the manga ones which were filled with different types of mushrooms. Wow, the presentation was incredible as they looked like hedgehogs, but more importantly they tasted amazing. The crunchy dough texture was a nice change from all the steamed dumplings. We also had the duck fried rice and the eggplant. The fries rice was delicious and the duck added so much flavor. The sticky eggplant was very unique. I had never had eggplant prepared that way. Overall, would give a 4.5 a wonderful meal and would definitely come back to try other dumplings and dishes!

A friend and I ordered carrot dumplings, hedgehog dumplings, fried rice, spring rolls, chicken dumplings and a glass of wine each for about $80 total. We're not usually massive eaters but this is one of those places where you have to make an exception! The spring rolls are easily the best I've had in Sydney, and the dumplings arrived with three dipping sauces which were actually quite distinctive, unlike many restaurants which seem to offer multiple bowls of soy disguised as other things. The servers were some of the quickest, most efficient staff I've met in all of Australia, and seemed to have the speech about ingredients and spiciness down pat...even rote. However, the fried rice arrived well after everything else, and at 8:30 on a Friday night, I felt like we were being rushed out the door despite empty tables. Even so, the dumplings were delicious, and the speed with which everything else arrived was a good fit for how hungry we were! Given how much food we ordered, the price was really fair, too. Can't wait to go back!

The tables of happy eating customers tell me that this place serves up good food. I was right! So were the reviews by fellow Yelpers recommending to 'taste for yourself and see?" I chose the a bowl of Rice Vermicelli with Pork ($9.50) also I had to try the much raved about Spring Rolls (4) $4.50. When my meal arrived it was missing fresh mint. Some restaurants do and some don't. I asked the polite waitress if she was able to provide some - as this fresh herb really adds flavour to this Vermicelli dish. She obliged happily. The menu has so many different dishes to choose from and they all look extremely tantalising to my taste buds. Everyone is eating happily with out a sound, obviously to busy enjoying the food to be able to waste time in chatter. I'm definitely eating here again when next in Newtown and would recommend it to any of my friends.

I haven't really had a favourite place for Pho in Sydney... *pouts*... Well, I have found it! $7.50 buys you a bowl of delicious, authentic pho here. The broth is amazing. Their spring rolls were so-so, but I didn't come here for spring rolls, so who cares. LOVED THE PHO, WILL BE BACK.

This restaurant seemed to have what we wanted. We ordered 3 dishes that we were very familiar with and wanted to compare it with what we have experienced in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City. The 3 dishes were very good, service was good. Comparing prices to our most familiar - Los Angeles... The 3 dishes were comparable in price to what we would probably pay for an entire meal of dimsum! Expensive!

There weren't that many guests when we came (fairly early in the morning) so we ordered directly with a waitress vs the dim sum trolleys you'd normally find. We got all the typical dishes - siu mai, shrimp dumplings, leek dumplings, har gow, spare ribs, sticky rice, congee and chinese broccoli. We enjoyed all the dishes, though the har gow texture was a bit mediocre to me. Staff is a bit curt and at times rude, but you don't go to Chinese restaurant for the service. Food came out very quickly since there were only a handful of tables at the time, though some dishes you could tell they had already made (and just brought out) vs some that were made fresh (took longer to come out). All in all, it was great dim sum restaurant, can't speak to their regular menu, but I do recommend it for dim sum!
