I used to love this place. I was here all the time. I moved away and now only stop when I'm in the area. The quality AND quantity of their food has drastically declined! I ordered two bowls, I saw him very gingerly shake the rice in the bowl to make it look like it was more than it was...they used to pack these bowls and push the rice down with the spoon. He then pulled out a piece of teriyaki chicken and instead of giving me the whole piece, I could see that he thought about it, and then put some of it back in the tray. The food in my bowl did not even come close to touching the top. I am so disappointed because this used to be my favorite Chinese food spot!!! Had my order from dominos next door cancelled. Which I was pretty upset after waiting over 50mins . While walking back to my car, I noticed 3 kids and mom playing badminton since it was dead inside the restaurant. So I decided why not, let's support the small business. I ordered a combo A , with just Chow Mein and Orange Chicken, which I later found out it was very on par with other American Chinese food. The total came out to $9.76. I handed over the card but the transaction didn't go through because the internet was down. I stood there for 5mins ,while constantly having to tell the mom behind the register that it's okay because she would so often apologize. So we found out that the entire block was having outage. MY POINT for this not to rate the food or service, but to tell everyone in this community to go and support this small local business. I went into this business 2 weeks ago because I'm Chinese and I was enticed by their menu on Yelp. Although the last behind the counter was nice, she didn't know any of the food items I was inquiring about which are listed on their Yelp menu and kept pointing to the warmers and the lot menu behind her. I'm thinking this restaurant changed ownership. But even so, if you are a Chinese restaurant, you should know what chow fun noodles are and Hong Kong pan fried noodles. Cheap Chinese food on the go. It's $6.19 for a 3 item combo plate and boy, is it greasy. They do have those fatty, delicious cream cheese wontons at 3 for a $1 and mini egg rolls at 4 for $1. They also offer chow fun (think rice noodle chow mein) which I prefer to the regular chow mein. Fried rice is pretty standard and the beef and protein items are a better bet than any of the chicken ones. Tons of fat and it tastes old, ALWAYS. Which sucks because they offer mushroom chicken and it should just be called "Fat, sprinkled with 'Shrooms". There is a $10 minimum if you plan on using a credit/debt card. This place is good for when there is just too much traffic on the 10 freeway and you're hungry for some broccoli beef. read more

Theirs a few reasons why I'm rating a 3. First is the customer service. When I walked in I did not get greeted and not sure if the person even saw me or knew that I was there. She continued to go thru the pennies from the tip jar and place them in the cash register. At this point it had been a little over a min just waiting there. They did raise their prices by 50 cents but it's still the better value for Chinese food anywhere you go. They give you A LOT of everything you order here. It's so cheap and it's SO GOOD. My go to order is chow mein, fried rice and teriyaki chicken. It's SOO FLAVORFUL. AND I'm a very picky person when it comes to chow mein and chicken. I hate fat on any type of meat and well their chicken is very lean and delicious. I don't even like the chow mein at fancy Asian buffets compared to theirs.
