Hong Kong popped up on my notices to try because we like oriental food. I must say that Hong Kong is a very good Chinese restaurant! We ordered from the lunch menu and the portion sizes were very good. The food was tasty. The staff was extremely friendly, and the place was very clean. We placed our orders and when it was ready, they brought it out to us. They are more of a pick up and delivery service type restaurant, but they have three tables that you can sit to dine in. The food was plentiful was very tasty and they brought their children with them and on one of the walls, they probably display the children's artwork. If you have not tried Hong Kong, I would definitely put it on your must try list. It's extremely popular with a locals because people were coming in and out picking up orders. They're located where the old Winn-Dixie used to be on US 19. So it's a relatively new place, but it has become very popular and for good reason. Another day in Hudson and another dinner out as we wait for our RV windows to be complete. This was close to the place we are getting the windows fixed and we both felt like Chinese. Based on Yelp reviews we decided to try our Hong Kong. Great choice. We both got the sweet and sour combo. I got chicken fried rice and the hubby got pork fried rice. We both agreed dinner was delicious. Only small poke would be that there were too many onions in the fried rice for me but it was still delicious. Yes, I like meat in my soup & didn't mind paying extra although I expected it to be less because in the past at other Chinese restaurants I've gotten it for $1-$1.50 instead. I love the tofu, scrambled eggs, seaweed and it was the right amount of sourness from the vinegar. Parking is abundant in this plaza. Wait times are 10 to 15 min. - there was a small rush in the afternoon with 3 other people. I may even stop by towards the end of this week to grab a lunch special! I don't know how to feel about this place .. customer service was great. Looks very clean. Food wise I would say it's mid! I just kept it simple with my order the tip for the dumplings had a lot of ginger flavor in it. The fried rice looks a little bit different than what I'm used to and I noticed they don't put eggs in their fried rice and taste ok. The wings were OK as well. Very very very very greasy. They are very expensive amount I paid for my order was usually what I paid for three combos. I've just fried rice and chicken wings. However, the portion of rice is big I guess I'm so so because I'm used to coin to a Chinese restaurant in Chinese folks are cooking the food. I'm not sure but seem like mix. If I could give this business a Lower rating I would. Ordered $65 worth of food. I wouldn't give any of it to my dog. The fried rice had a foul smell to it and was very mushy and overcooked .
