This place was great! We were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. The waitress was friendly and helpful. When asked, she recommended the most popular sushi roll, and a couple of her peraonal favorites. The food came out quickly. If you haven't tried it yet, you really need to. It was delicious! The black plate was an appetizer called SEX JALAPENO. It was like a sushi jalapeno popper. Then we got the Sashimi appetizer and tge Maki for 2 which had California Roll, Spicy Tuna Rokk, White Dragon Roll and the Incredible Roll. My husband and I heard about Hanabi Sushi Hibachi from NewsBreak and decided to go there for tonight's dinner. As we entered we were greeted by smiling faces and welcoming staff. Very friendly people. We were seated, handed menus. We ordered sweet tea. It's really sweet tea! I ordered the Pad Thai, my husband ordered the pork. Within minutes our salads and soup. Very delicious! Dinner came minutes after we finished our salads. The portions were large, flavorful and delicious. Very colorful presentation too. Many people came in. Lots of talk, happy chatting and a nice background of music filled the air. The tables were very clean, as were the floors and bathroom. Plenty of parking. The price was reasonable as well. We first ahowed up on Christmas eve, and they were open. They have just had their soft opening last Sunday. The eatery wasnt busy, but that will change. The food is so good. My niece and I stopped in on Tuesday, at lunch and she had the hibachi and i had thejr lunch bento. The prices werenfantastic, the sercice was Amazing and not overly attentive. Their food is delicious, so fresh and made tonorder. The Bento had Katsu and Im a huge fan. We came back today, the day after Christmas and my husband was with me. He had the ramen with black baelic and I had the steak and sheimp hibachi. So much food! Their appetizer chicken lettuce wraps should be a meal. It was soicer than im ised to, but that didnt stop me. In the mood for some local Asian fare and decided to give this place a try. What a surprise inside a strip mall! Nicely decorated and service was great and friendly. Even though they were short staffed everyone pitched in and checked on us several times. They had a sign seeking employees on the door (so if you need a job, looks like a busy place). We enjoyed most of our food, but I wasn't impressed with the Sushi we had, small and the rice was dry. The Hibachi was okay but the chicken was bland. The Noodles were gummy from being overcooked. The Ramen was okay. We will go again and try some of the other menu items, the service alone will let me try again. read more

My husband and I ate here for the first time the other day. Love the minimalist modern decor, pleasant not too loud music, good service and food. We got the sushi sashimi deluxe for two. It was very fresh and very good. When you get this type of dish, there's not much you can do to cover if the fish isn't good. And that was not the case here because the fish was very good. The food also came with a really nice presentation. So far the best sushi that I've had in the Hudson/Port Richey area. Good drink selection and we love hot sake so we got that. We came here not knowing what the food was going to taste like because let's face it port richey doesn't have the best food The food was actually really good and surpassed expectations. The restaurant was really clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive.
