I called about getting a massage, and asked for the price, and she told me 55 per hour. The other massages in the area were 70 an hour, so I came in. It was very easy to get an appointment which was nice. When I arrived though,I saw on the sign that the price was 65. I was confused because I just talked to somebody. She said that maybe the language barrier caused the miscommunication. I said OK, but I probably wouldn't of come in had I known that was the price. I can get an amazing massage in Seattle for $30 for an hour, and I would've driven an extra 20 minutes to save over half the price. Massage itself was great. She was very nice and it was thorough and relaxing. The location is clean and nice and easy to find. But because of the price difference, I took off one star. I'm so bummed to give this place a poor rating. It's close to home. I got a great massage from someone a month ago when I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. But this Sunday afternoon was completely different. The massage started as I expected and then early in a phone in the room rang and I mistakenly thought it was mine. WRONG... The woman that was on my back answered the phone and while massaging me, made an appointment with a guy (I heard him) for a massage later that day. I was blown away and told myself that maybe they were short staffed when the person doing my massage left the room for a warm towel and I heard her talking to someone else. When she came back to resume the massage, you guessed it, she answered her phone again and without skipping a beat in the midst of my massage made another appointment. I'd like to say that the mistakes were over but when I went to pay, their Square was down and they asked me to leave my ID while I went to a bank and brought back money. 'Uh, no!' Okay, she will go with you. 'You mean to the grocery store? That is where I am heading next. I'll bring you back money.' (Seriously?!?! You are coming with me?) Adjust your expectations beforehand. I'm a runner whos insurance recently stopped being accepted by my favorite massage center. As I bounced around looking for relatively cheap massages in the near term, I stumbled upon this business. If you're accustomed to trained therapists who can accommodate specific requests, speak enough English to ask for more time on a sore area, and not leave the room regularly to greet another client who walked in, then this may not be the place for you. While no therapist has ever answered the phone while working on me (as other reviews have mentioned), they have left the room many times to attend to something in the lobby. I've even had one person start my massage, then they switched to another person to finish the massage (for whatever reason). Unusual? Yes. A deal breaker? Not really. After being spoiled at some really quality massage centers around Seattle for the last decade with insurance picking up the tab, I knew I was in for a bit of a change when trying this location (and others like it). Heck, I've even been desperate enough to try the massage chair in a local mall when my back was super achy after typing all day. Point is, if you need to relax and have some aches and pains addressed, this place will do that, just not in quiet pampered type atmosphere provided by licensed facilities. Will I go back? In short, I wont be going back and its not because of the massage. I had a terrible kink in my neck and shoulders and really needed a massage badly. I read the reviews and saw the good and bad; the bad not being about the massage itself but the pricing and tipping issues. I chalked it up to the review I read being very old, back to 2017, and it being a one off disgruntled customer, and thus probably no longer an issue. I should have known better. The massage was good, not amazing but good. It was a deep tissue massage, but not as intense as some places I have been, but a decent balance. I could have used a few more minutes on my problem areas, but overall it was fine. As someone else said, the location is hard to find, and feels like a back alley. There is plenty of parking, and the place is very clean, so once you get past the back alley feeling the location is fine. I didn't see any other customers in the place, but I had called ahead and made sure they could take me on short notice (same day), so maybe that's just how it is for a small place like this. When I went to leave they asked my masseuse asked if I needed a receipt. The price was a bit on the high side, but typical for eastside places. After they handed me the bill, they stood over my shoulder and watched me as I filled in the tip line. I left an 16% tip, not massive but not insulting either. My masseuse, who was working the credit card machine, stopped and said in a shocked voice ... oh only XXX? I looked at her and couldn't believe she was questioning my tip amount - which btw is not required at all, and should have been appreciated. I had half a mind to simply cross out to zero, but I am just not that guy. If not for that experience with the bill I would be giving them a higher review, so two stars lost for insulting the customers tip. If not for that last moment, I would have considered going back on another occasion and trying a longer massage. Now, not gonna happen. read more

I hate to give this place a two stars because I don't feel like they deserve a two stars and I know they can do better if they just hire more people and take their work seriously. First off - the location is hard to find and sketchy at night. Second - the venue is clean and somewhat average or slightly above average. Good is actually understatement - If you are too old to give a massage, please refrain from doing so. I asked for a deep tissue massage but the lady was too old and she was doing her best but yet just wasn't good enough. If that wasn't enough - I believe there are only two people that give massage, the lady and her daughter I think (this is an assumption). So they take the phone with them and they have to stop and answer the phone everytime people call. Can you just imagine? you are getting your massage and the phone keeps ringing every 2 minutes because they posted a lot of ads on craigslist...ugh words don't describe how I felt and that's why I refrained from writing this yelp on Wednesday, I wanted some time to cool off. If I paid $65 worth of massage - you showing up 10 minutes late should've been the first sign..then the continuous phone calls and I was told please..please..2 minutes...then walks out to greet another person..then please...another..2 seconds..then walks out and schedules another person..this happened to me 5 times..no kidding..not counting the phone calls. Pros: Got a great, deep tissue massage! The lady was very kind. I had every intention of returning, but.... Cons: While I was signing my receipt, the lady actually leaned over into my view to see how much I was writing for a tip. She said, 'Only 5 dollar tip? You give more!' I wasn't so much offended by this as I was disappointed. Made me feel like the whole experience had only been about the tip for her at the end. I knew I couldn't come back now. I would always feel uncomfortable knowing that my charity would be scrutinized after every session, and that any friendliness exhibited was only building up to an expectation of a bigger tip. It's really hard to find this place as it is tucked away behind the strip mall in factoria bordering east gate. The massage was pretty good, but the massage room was so cold that I had goosebumps the entire hour and the therapist did not think to crank up the heat until I could not stop shivering. I'd give it four and a half stars if it were for the massage alone, but it is simply too expensive. You can get the same full body massage without clothes on a massage table at any Chinese foot massage parlor for 30% less. I ended up spending about 85 bucks out the door....which I have had better full body acupressure table massages in the area for 50 bucks or less.... read more
