Even though English isn't Andy's first language, I have never had issues with communicating my needs to him. Upon leaving Bliss Massage Spa I feel so much better than when I walked in. Andy has gotten to know my body, my problem areas and knows how to help me work through these issues. He is professional and knowledgeable. I see Andy a minimum of once every three weeks for at least a 90 minute full body therapeutic table massage and would go into Bliss Massage Spa more often if my schedule allowed. The management is very helpful and when I call, I always get a "Hello Bobby" everytime. They always accommodate my hectic schedule and meet my requests. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality and service you get. Because of the lower cost of the services there is a suggested tip amount for excellent service. This suggested tip amount helps compensate the clinicians for the lower cost of services to you (similar to restaurant staff and their perceived or expected tip rates). This lower cost and suggested tipping amount is not uncommon among many foot and massage spas. That said, today's massage itself was actually great. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my view of the business. I paid via Zelle and showed confirmation that the payment was processing, including the notification and account details. I also offered to follow up shortly to confirm once it cleared, as I needed to leave to pick up my daughter. Instead, I was repeatedly told to stay and wait. I was then followed outside, and the staff member actually got into my car to prevent me from leaving. I had to physically ask her to get out of my car. Shortly after, the payment went through as expected. I understand wanting to confirm payment, but this situation was handled in a way that felt extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable -- especially toward a long-time customer who was clearly trying to pay. It's disappointing because the massage itself was good, but the overall experience left me shaken and unsure I would feel comfortable returning.

This spot came up as the closest one--and it was also very close to the restaurant--so I decided to walk in. I was helped right away by two very kind ladies and taken into a room almost immediately. I honestly didn't want the massage to end. The therapist really focused on the muscles that were sore from my workout. I was 100% sure I'd be in pain the next day from how deep she worked, but surprisingly, I left feeling relaxed, had a great night's sleep after dinner, and woke up the next morning feeling even better. No soreness at all. They use unscented oil, which is a big plus if you have asthma or allergies. Plus, they are still running their opening specials where prices are discounted for all different massages. Located in the Overlake Square Mall in the Bel-Red area, it's right next to Dough Zone. I called when they opened and was able to make an appointment for a 90-minute massage that same day, for the late afternoon. For the body massage, you're in a private room and can strip down. However, they also offer foot massages in their main room in a shared space. My masseuse was Jeff and he was very, very good! I lift weights and box everyday, so my muscles are always really sore. Therefore, I really needed a deep tissue massage to get some blood flowing to my muscles and help loosen up. Before Jeff began he asked what level of firmness I wanted and he made sure throughout the entire time I was okay with the pressure. It was definitely what I needed. With COVID-19, all staff were wearing masks and in the private room, the client does not have to wear a mask since they're mostly face down on the massage table. But everything was very clean and they change the sheets and blankets as soon as the client leaves the room. For 90 minutes, it was $75 and for an hour, it was $50 for a body massage in the private room. Great deal! At checkout I was given a complimentary bottled water and a stamp card where after 10 massages you get a free foot massage. I'll be racking up on that stamp card!
