The Mongolian beef was super fresh and just the right amount of spice and flavor. I didn't even need the soy sauce. Egg rolls were fried crispy and delicious. This is my very favorite Asian restaurant. We always order takeout from here and sometimes we eat there. This year we ordered our entire Christmas meal from them and boy was it good. they cooked everything fresh and delivered it to me Christmas morning and I think so good and I'm gonna continue to do it next year to they even gave us fortune cookies. Super easy meal for Christmas. They did all the work and we just enjoy the food at our home. We had General TSO chicken, pepper steak, lo mein noodles with eggs, shrimp, fried rice, Chinese, green beans, and egg drop soup and all so crab wontons. It was so delicious! Can confirm that my experience from a couple years ago held up! Hong Kong Restaurant NEVER fails. The staff are awesome too. I came in for pickup and was telling my friend "ooh I love Chinese mustard" as I was grabbing packets and they were like "hey do you want the GOOD stuff in the back?" And they brought me a little container of super strong Chinese mustard that I used for dipping the black pepper chicken ... what a BOMB combination. Again the wonton soup is fantastic and I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the food they have. All year when I'm in Atlanta I think about Hong Kong Restaurant. read more

DONT and I mean DONT order from this place don't be fooled by the picture !!! The " good reviews " don't believe it I ordered on DoorDash the honey chicken to see that while the portion is good it was a strong odor coming from the plate I tried the chicken and rice and it tasted how motor oil smells very old tasting also the rice tasted frozen the "honey sauce " taste like sweet and sour from McDonalds...:and to top it off nothing can be done from DoorDash YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! read more

This small restaurant was pretty crowded when we arrived for lunch. The first plate from the buffet was unfortunately little more than room temperature. I really want to like this place because it has great reviews and as I stated previously, it was packed with people. The second plate was much better! Fresh from the wok to the bar. I really wanted to like this place. I called in an order of mixed vegetables with a side of plain fried rice. It was pretty reasonably priced at 8.75, and was ready within 10 or so minutes of my call. The vegetables were pretty good, not really anything special, but lots of broccoli which is a plus in my book. What was off was the rice. It was plain, but it was mushy and had an odd flavor. It honestly tasted like the rice you might get from the Mexican restaurant in the same strip (although never been there, just an observation). I may try this place again in the future, but I won't be in a hurry. read more

Very disappointed. The noodles and egg rolls tasted weird, I can't describe it but non food-like, and it was strong. I even added soy sauce to my noodles; still tasted bad. The sweet & sour chicken was ok, like a 6/10, the outer part was too soft though, like undercooked. Not sure how or why I haven't reviewed this place sooner. Guys. I have to be honest. I do not like Chinese food. Just not a fan. My family loves it, though. I read on our towns local FB page how great this place was, so I decided to try it out. Oh man did I instantly regret not trying it sooner. Aside from being owned and ran by the sweetest people ever, the food is top notch. The portions are more than enough, and they offer so much more than what's on the menu. Just ask them! I promise they'll take care of you. They'll make anything into a combo. I always order Crab Wontons and Chicken Teriyaki (they call it chicken on a stick). My son & husband get something different every time, and they're never disappointed. I've never been for their lunch buffet, but I've never heard anything bad about it. On the weekends they don't open until 4:30, but that's ok I can wait until 4:30! They deserve to sleep in on those days anyway. :) read more

Highly recommend. We've been buying from here for years. Food is always fresh. Place always clean. I go home late and it's one of the only places that stays open s bit late in Zachary, so keep 'em in mind. Nice owners too. Good food! read more

Local small town Chinese place. Not a huge selection but good for a quick bite at lunch. I wouldn't take a date here to impress but I would pick up something fast and good. They will make you stuff fresh or you can get your eats off the line if you're there during the right time. read more

By far the best Chinese take out in Zachary. The prices are fair, food is pretty good and decent portion for the price as well. I really like their house special won ton soup. It's amazing. I've ordered 'to go' 3 times in 2 weeks. Each time has been great! Family favorites are the Mixed vegetables with Shrimp, Vegetable Lo Mein, egg rolls and the Crab Wontons. The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right. The shrimp are very large and the portion sizes are very generous. The wontons are light, crispy deliciousness. And the egg rolls are just right with a wonderful flavor. read more

Food is pretty good but they do not keep the buffet stocked adequately. LONG waits on certain items even when the place was not that busy... And then they put out only a few of the items... And yes the chicken on the stick is your most popular buffet item. Please put out more than 4 at a time. read more

Not good. I guess you should know better than to eat at one of these pop-up Chinese restaurants; they all use the same pictures of the food, offer tired dishes on the $6 lunch buffet, and holler at each other in the kitchen. Then again, if you know all that and still choose to eat at one of these places, you can just skip all the reviews! read more

Use to be great. Past few times, we've ordered and they say it'll be ready in 30 minutes, it takes over an hour and a half. Probably not their fault, but they could be honest. Order early. We won't be coming back until they have more staff. read more

We ordered: Egg Rolls Crab Creme Puff Wontons Orange Chicken Singapore Chicken The food was amazing!! Been here 10 months from Houston and FINALLY real Chinese food. Mexican food here just sucks. The chines food here was authentic, priced reasonable (which nothing is here in Louisiana which shocks me for how poor this state is), and the service great. Total charge was 40.32. Order the combo meals unless you want a lot of meat. A Large is double the meat with not rice or egg roll. The combo comes with rice and an egg roll. read more

I've been ordering meals from here since it's inception. The food is always great. They get your order to you rather quick. They're always nice and to top it off they deliver after lunch. In instances where they get your order wrong(only happened once), you'll get the right one without any extra hassle. Even if you don't order the combo.
