The Mongolian beef was super fresh and just the right amount of spice and flavor. I didn't even need the soy sauce. Egg rolls were fried crispy and delicious. Can confirm that my experience from a couple years ago held up! Hong Kong Restaurant NEVER fails. The staff are awesome too. I came in for pickup and was telling my friend "ooh I love Chinese mustard" as I was grabbing packets and they were like "hey do you want the GOOD stuff in the back?" And they brought me a little container of super strong Chinese mustard that I used for dipping the black pepper chicken ... what a BOMB combination. Again the wonton soup is fantastic and I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the food they have. All year when I'm in Atlanta I think about Hong Kong Restaurant. read more

This is my very favorite Asian restaurant. We always order takeout from here and sometimes we eat there. This year we ordered our entire Christmas meal from them and boy was it good. they cooked everything fresh and delivered it to me Christmas morning and I think so good and I'm gonna continue to do it next year to they even gave us fortune cookies. Super easy meal for Christmas. They did all the work and we just enjoy the food at our home. We had General TSO chicken, pepper steak, lo mein noodles with eggs, shrimp, fried rice, Chinese, green beans, and egg drop soup and all so crab wontons. It was so delicious! This small restaurant was pretty crowded when we arrived for lunch. The first plate from the buffet was unfortunately little more than room temperature. I really want to like this place because it has great reviews and as I stated previously, it was packed with people. The second plate was much better! Fresh from the wok to the bar. I really wanted to like this place. I called in an order of mixed vegetables with a side of plain fried rice. It was pretty reasonably priced at 8.75, and was ready within 10 or so minutes of my call. The vegetables were pretty good, not really anything special, but lots of broccoli which is a plus in my book. What was off was the rice. It was plain, but it was mushy and had an odd flavor. It honestly tasted like the rice you might get from the Mexican restaurant in the same strip (although never been there, just an observation). I may try this place again in the future, but I won't be in a hurry. read more

Not sure how or why I haven't reviewed this place sooner. Guys. I have to be honest. I do not like Chinese food. Just not a fan. My family loves it, though. I read on our towns local FB page how great this place was, so I decided to try it out. Oh man did I instantly regret not trying it sooner. Aside from being owned and ran by the sweetest people ever, the food is top notch. The portions are more than enough, and they offer so much more than what's on the menu. Just ask them! I promise they'll take care of you. They'll make anything into a combo. I always order Crab Wontons and Chicken Teriyaki (they call it chicken on a stick). My son & husband get something different every time, and they're never disappointed. I've never been for their lunch buffet, but I've never heard anything bad about it. On the weekends they don't open until 4:30, but that's ok I can wait until 4:30! They deserve to sleep in on those days anyway. :) read more

I've ordered 'to go' 3 times in 2 weeks. Each time has been great! Family favorites are the Mixed vegetables with Shrimp, Vegetable Lo Mein, egg rolls and the Crab Wontons. The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right. The shrimp are very large and the portion sizes are very generous. The wontons are light, crispy deliciousness. The chines food here was authentic, priced reasonable (which nothing is here in Louisiana which shocks me for how poor this state is), and the service great. Total charge was 40.32. Order the combo meals unless you want a lot of meat. A Large is double the meat with not rice or egg roll. The combo comes with rice and an egg roll. read more
