Fried half chicken.

Best takeout in this area. My parents were in the Chinese takeout business for over 30 years so I have some experience with the types of establishments. I've been coming here for over 10 years. The service is always fast and friendly. The food is always well prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavors. Nothing is ever too salty or greasy. I love their brown sauce for their beef broccoli. Their hot and sour soup and also very good which is hard to find. If you like fried chicken, they fry theirs fresh to order which is really nice. Most places pre-fry and then refry after you order which makes it greasy. They deliver too. Give them a try. Remember this is a takeout. Not to be confused with an authentic Chinese restaurant so take it for what it is. They are apples and oranges. It's like going into a McDonald's and expecting a filet mignon--not going to happen. If you're looking for good takeout food, this is your place.

103. Sweet and Sour Shrimp They didn't take out the line of POOP from the shrimp!!! THIS IS DISGUSTING!

I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and the house special fried rice. It was awful! I have been eating here for years and it's the first time I had such a bad experience. The sweet and sour shrimp was definitely uncooked on the inside. It looked cooked but when I took a bite I had a mouthful of batter Now the house special fried rice... that definitely had an inexplicable weird taste, it was like an old taste. The only good thing I can say about it is that the shrimp in the fried rice was a good size and the egg roll was good. That's it.

My wife and I order delivery a couple times a week due too our schedules and having 2 small kids. Sometimes making and cooking dinner isn't so easy. This is mostly a takeout/delivery place. They do offer a couple of tables inside, if you wanted to eat there. Sometimes it can get too busy with people in and out you might want to rethink that. We stick with delivery only. First off I cannot tolerate MSG, my temples in my head start pounding if it's in the food. I know instantly when it was used, even if I ask please no MSG when ordering. For the most part they do accommodate that request, but some things are prepared prior to ordering so it's inescapable. For the kids we usually get just fries and fried chicken, they like it so therefore we like it. At this point whatever makes them happy makes us happy. For me 9 out of 10 times I get the General Tso's Chicken, with Pork Fried Rice. The chicken is nice and crispy and not big pieces, bite sized. It has a little bit of a kick/spice to it, just enough that you feel it but it's not overpowering. The rice is mixed with some vegetables, carrots, onions, peas, and of course the pork. I know the pork pieces were seasoned with MSG right away, but at that point nothing I can do. My wife usually gets either chicken and broccoli or shrimp and broccoli with brown rice. Pertaining to the shrimp they are always deveined, a lot of places at least around here do not bother to do that. Which to me is pretty nasty! They are very local to us, so delivery time is fairly quick 20 mins tops. They supply an ample amount of sauces, Duck, Soy, Hot Mustard. They even send Chinese Tea bags. Aside from the MSG issue which is like I said unavoidable in some instances, I enjoy their food a lot.

And why did this had to happen?? I'm forever ruined. My favorite Chinese spot...

I'm extremely uneased about this... for the first time ever, something like this happens to me, at my favorite Chinese spot where the food is spot on delish, the reason I'm still giving it some stars. However, I am ruined with this experience and never thought a place with an "A rating", delicious food and awesome cooks would come with a surprise in my Beef & Broccoli. I might've ordered $31 worth of food for just me and my lady and half of what we ordered went to the garbage after what transpired. We immediately became disgusted and bothered. I felt the need to go back & let them know what we found without asking for anything in return (money). I told the man that works there what we found, told him how much I love their food but was torn to see a roach laying dead in my plate of food buried... it made me almost throw up. Upon telling him AND showing him the photo I took, he didn't act or seemed concern at all, which bothered me. The woman who took my order also saw it and didn't react to it either. It's almost like they didn't care which is quite sad being they are really cool and always say hi or knew deep down they messed up. I said to them that I'm not there to argue or cause a scene, but that they had to know that it's unacceptable and that maybe they have to clean up a bit back there to prevent this from happening again to anyone else. He asked if I had the food and receipt with me... of course I said no and that it was all thrown away, telling me that I should've just brought it all back. That doesn't make sense, but whatever. He then proceed to ask if I wanted them to make me something else... umm, after what we found in our food, why would I say yes to that? To find another one possibly? Then offered to give me some of the money back ($20) and I took it even though I should've been compensated the full amount. Anyway, My appetite was ruined and maybe forever when it comes to ordering there again. Disheartening to say the least but more shocked that it's our go-to China spot and have eaten from Hong Kong Stir Fry for a long time.

I have been ordering from this Chinese take out for 18 years 2 to 3 times a week in the 18 years that I have ordered from this place maybe four times I called and complained that I wasn't happy with my food please send me a new food item or credit me today the owner's wife answered the phone and my husband's boneless spare rib combination was all fat chewy pieces you could not eat this is not the first time but this is the first time we called and complained on them when I called her she said next time she'll go through the meat herself and make sure it's not rubbery I called back and said you're not going to give us a credit or send us a new one you're going to leave us with this meatshe started screaming at me saying that I do this all the time she's out of a f****** mind and she could go f*** herself so this place sucks and it's been going downhill and I do not recommend it and it's not even a 1-star it's a no star piece of s*** take out I'm giving it and this is a picture of my husband's chewy disgusting uneatable boneless spare ribs that suck so Hong Kong stir fry kiss my ass

They are closed on Tuesdays luckily for us it was a Monday and they only take cash or Zelle. We ordered the Kung pao chicken, the general chicken (extra spicy), the pork spareribs, fried chicken wings, crab Rangoon's that came with sweet-and-sour sauce and an order of pork lo mein. Everything tasted really fresh and came out in about 15 to 20 minutes. The best thing was the amount of crab Rangoon's. You get in one order it's amazing! I have everything we ordered. The only thing we wouldn't get again is the kung pao chicken. It just lacked flavor for us but everything else was soooo good. The amount of food you get is so generous. We had enough to take someone on the plane with us the next day back home. Overall, I highly recommend it and if I'm ever back in Jersey, I'll be going back.

Unfortunately none of the food I have tried here has given me that WOW factor. I have tried a couple of menu items because I know some places are a hit or a miss when it comes to certain food items. The food here is either too dry, too greasy, too salty, or just bland. Is it edible? Sure if I'm starving and just need something quick, but definitely far from my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

This was solid. I…read moreordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Though the delivery time was close to half an hour, I'm happy to report the food and packaging survived the trip with little ill consequence. The beef chow fun was a definite hit. I loved the savory sauce on the slippery noodles, and there was a generous amount of tender beef throughout the container. This was a pure carb-and-protein delight. Over the course of travel time, the sauce inside the beef with broccoli became chilled and slightly gelatinous. While it looked slightly unappetizing, the taste was great. The broccoli was also well tender, which I appreciated because I'm regularly disappointed with al dente veg from other Chinese restaurants. I also ordered a shrimp egg roll, mainly out of curiosity because it was my first time seeing it on a takeout menu. While there are definite chunks of small shrimp inside, I found the actual taste to be nearly indistinguishable from other egg rolls because the filling was mainly cabbage.

We enjoyed a tasting of the menu, with the appetizers including Noodles with minced pork, spicy fries, chili steamed dumplings, scallion pancakes, and green veggie dumplings. The Noodles were perfectly cooked and the minced pork was bursting with flavor. Fries were satisfyingly crispy, well seasoned, but had a kick to it, so tasted too spicy for me. Chili dumplings were filled with yummy meat, and were surprisingly not that spicy. Scallion pancakes were thin, with a nice crunch, and plenty of scallion taste. Veggie dumplings were just okay, as I found the outer wrapping to be too thick and filling to be a little bland. For the main courses, we were served pork with celery and peppers, chicken with onion and peppers, veggie noodles, and spicy tofu. The pork dish was my favorite, as the meat was tender, and full of wonderful savory flavor, while the veggies were fresh and cooked well. Service was good. The food came out quickly throughout the night and we enjoyed a lovely evening here.

I (loved everything I) ordered: - Pork Soup Dumplings: You get 6 dumplings, and they are served with black vinegar. The dumpling size is pretty decent, and the pork filling is seasoned well. - Mini Wonton in Chili Oil: You get 8 wontons, and by NO means are they "mini"! To me, they are regular sized. You can tell they are homemade - the wonton skin is delicate (not thick, but not thin) and holds up the chili oil really well. This is hands down my favorite version out of all the ones I've tried at other places - the reason being is that the wontons are not drowning in the chili oil. - Cucumber in Garlic Sauce: Goodness, this is my favorite version of this dish. The sauce is phenomenal, and the garlic gives it a nice kick/bite. I could just eat this and a bowl of rice, and call it a day. - Stir-Fried Shredded Pork w. Chinese Celery & Bean Curd: SO flavorful. The bean curd is firm and has a noodle like texture, so it holds up really well to the pork. I don't hate celery, but it's not my favorite green - in this dish though, I LOVE it lol. - Bok Choy w. Shitake Mushrooms: not salty and clean tasting. This is a great vegetable side dish. - Stir-Fried Beef Chow Fun: This was great! What really did it for me is that they actually incorporated scrambled eggs into the dish (and the eggs were nicely seasoned). I also loved the fact that instead of onion, they paired it with cabbage. I heart you.
