I found myself craving Chinese Food while I was visiting my family on vacation. Since I didn't have access to a car during my visit, I was limited on places that delivered. I heard Hong Kong Wok delivered and decided to give them a try based on their Yelp reviews. My order consisted of 3 egg rolls, steamed dumplings, a large egg drop soup, large bourbon chicken with white rice, and large shrimp lo mein. I was quoted a price of $30.65, which included a $3 delivery fee. The delivery time was consistent with the 30-minute timeframe quoted during the ordering process. Also, each dish provided hearty portions that could have fed 3-4 people. The highlights of my order were the egg rolls and egg drop soup. Both were still hot upon delivery and were the tastiest part of my meal. Unfortunately, those were the only positives of my order. The rest of the food items were cold and probably sat in the restaurant for a few hours before being delivered. Both the shrimp lo mein and bourbon chicken were not very appetizing and dark in complexion. The bourbon chicken lacked the bourbon flavor. Based on the complexion and non- flavor, I'm guessing a lot of soy sauce was used. The same can be said to describe the shrimp lo mein. My steamed dumplings were dried out and cold. The filling was bland and didn't taste like beef. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with my Hong Kong Wok experience, and probably won't give them another chance when I come home for vacation and have a Chinese craving. read more

Honk Kong Wok is a great little shop. Family owned, not corporate. It's located in a little plaza back from the road, next to a video game shop. Walking in you will see nick-nacks for sale (glass figurines, etc) on the counter, and the fixtures look a little old, but clean. The staff are friendly, the food is good. I eat here an average of twice every two weeks. Prices are reasonable. The best part (in my opinion) is the FRIED RICE. I searched DOZENS of restaurants trying to find fried rice cooked with THICK SOY. This gives the rice a dark brown, slightly sweeter taste. (I'm living in Ohio, but from Massachusetts. ALL the American Chinese food restaurants use the thick soy back home The only thing I'm missing are "Fall River Chow Mein Noodles" which are a regional thing.) The ONLY minor thing I can think of is that I find Boneless Pork Ribs better when dry and slightly burned VS covered in a sauce, but that's an extremely minor comment and NOT a complaint. read more

My go to Chinese restaurant. The food is amazing. The prices are great. I have never had an item that wasn't fantastic. The couple who runs it are the nicest people. I always order with the same modification no matter the item because im not a fan of the veg in the meals and when I forgot today I thought I would be picking through it but they remembered for me and I was so happy. read more

I have lived in the area for years and decided to try Honk Kong Wok tonight for dinner. It's different than any other Chinese I've ever seen or tasted, not in a good way. I ordered chicken & broccoli with lo mein, and my boyfriend ordered bourbon chicken with pork fried rice. The sauce on both were very dark and very salty, I'm assuming they use a lot of soy sauce, my noodles were very dry, I'm assuming they sat for a while. We both didn't like it and won't order again. The inside is really cluttered up and they have a lot of stuff for sale, kinda like a thrift store. Really odd. I will stick with Bee's Buffet from now on. They are definitely the best in town in my opinion. read more

Like the food, ok on prices, the only negative thing is the location. It is in a strip mall next to a laundry mat. There were some strange people hanging around? And one more thing and I hate to judge on this but inside they have a bunch items for sale A BUNCH all over the place. It looked really trashy everything anything you can think of. read more

Always order their vegetable lo mein without mushrooms 'cause I don't like the flavor or texture, their orange chicken is amazing and comes with what I believe to be jasmine rice and a very generously sized egg roll. All the food has always been hot and fresh and I could not be happier ordering from here whether I visit in person or order from Door Dash, this place is amazing! read more

I've been to honk kong wok for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. Food was hot and fresh. Could not have asked for any better.

My friend runs the video game store next door, and I'm a big fan on Chinese food, so I decided to go give this a try, I was impressed! The owner is really nice, and the food was great! Prices were fair and the portion is good too! I'll definitely be back for more. read more

Hong Kong Wok is far and away my favorite store-front Chinese restaurant in the Hamilton area. All the normal stuff is there, the standard neon sign in the window, the 11x14 red and green on white menu and the back lit pictures of standard dishes above the counter. But the food raises the bar for this kind of place. All of the dishes I've tried have some element that sets them apart from the average Chinese take-away. The Hunan Beef has some black bean sauce in it that bumps the flavor up a notch. The (very non-traditonal) spicy Pad Thai has a few strands of a fresh herb in it that I've yet to identify but still love. And the Singapore Noodles have a curry taste that just pops a little bit more than any others. The couple that run the place (without the help of any additional employees as far as I can tell) are always pleasant. The know my regular orders when I call and make as much nice small talk as the language barrier allows. All in all a top spot in the category. read more
