The staff is amazing. They helped keep an eye out for it as well as a few regular badminton players. The staff always greets you with a smile and remembers who you are. If you enjoy playing badminton or ping pong, don't make the same mistake we did. Keep your stuff with you at all times regardless how nice people may seem. Everyone is really friendly and willing to help. :) The Potomac Squash Club is located right off the intersection of Montrose and Seven Locks Roads next to a Maryland State Police station. There isn't a receptionist so it's probably best to email or call ahead of time to see when there will be someone around. Otherwise, mornings seem to be pretty popular. There are 3 international standard squash courts. Keep in mind that you can only use non-marking shoes.

PSC is very accessible off a main road (Montrose) on a less-traveled access road with convenient parking, just steps from its front door. The club has three International singles courts in good condition. They are lighted well with good contrast colors for easy tracking. There is no WHITE dress code, but you should wear non-marking shoes and protective eyewear as required most clubs. There is some light exercise equipment and some free-weights for warm-up/ stretching, etc. There is comfortable viewing of squash play from a walkway just off the cozy lounge area with a TV. PSC is a pleasant, community squash club with engaging, friendly members, consistent with the welcoming nature of squash players found throughout the world. PSC has a very home-like feel and it's clear there is a sense of family among its members. There is no staff, other than the squash pros. The club is run by the volunteer efforts of its caring membership. As such, there is no receptionist. Access to the club is via key card, essentially, but there is a doorbell for guests. Best to call in advance to arrange play, if you are a guest or prospective member. I recommend playing here. I would join if I lived in the area. I look forward to visiting again during my future visits.

Sportrock has been such a haven for my family. My husband and I climbed before we had a child. We…read morewanted to return to this hobby, and Sportrock has made it possible for our family to come back to a sport we love. Sportrock is very family friendly. There are so many places for kids to roam around without getting in the way of climbers. We primarily Boulder and take turns climbing while one of us tends to our 1 year old. When we are at "the backcourts" our daughter stays amused by cruising around the mats and checking out the ping pong table. When we are at "the pool" my daughter loves climbing on the stairs. Sportrock has so much space! The climbs are fun and the range of difficulty is great. I love that they have community meetups for vegetarians and moms! They have great workout facilities I can use on climbing rest days. And I am excited that one day my daughter can celebrate her birthday party at Sportrock with their party room. We look forward to many more adventures at Sportrock and cannot wait for our daughter to learn to climb one day soon.

The outdoor pool area has gone through an AMAZING transformation!…read more I first want to say that unfortunately I don't have many pictures. I didn't want to seem rude and make people self conscious by taking pictures with them in it, specially when in bathing suits and lots of young children. With that said, this outdoor pool is beautiful! The parking space is ample. So many places to park. The surrounding area is covered by trees and other outdoor activities including a baseball diamond/field and a very nice skate park. Upon entering, there is a small fee to get in daily. I believe residents receive discount to and there are passes available. As soon as we entered the swimming area, I was really impressed! Plenty of spaces to sit. In the shade, sun, a bit further away, many options. There is a shallow pool with lots of fun activities and slides for the young kids. That pool is 1FT deep and it's perfect for families. There's another pool with a basketball game another cool slide and zip tie pool plunge. On the far right there's an area with the long, tall slides ! These are new and look so fun. A bit further behind is a lap pool with diving boards. Unfortunately we came on a day with poor air quality and they had to close early. But we did enjoy 2 hours worth of swimming. There is an additional indoor pool and we were encouraged to swim there. We decided to go home. There's a confession stand that we didn't get to try and I haven't seen the fitness center yet. I honestly can't wait to come back, best pool in the area. Not too packed, big, fun, plenty to do. Loved !

There was a camp with hundreds and hundreds of children running around. They didn't all listen to the lifeguards. There were no chairs available -- that's on us, we should have come at opening, but it was wildly overcrowded and then another camp with even younger children arrived. My kids are young teen/tween age and excellent swimmers but it's more crowded than a Great Wolf Lodge on a holiday with a lot less supervision. I felt awful for the lifeguards. We'll likely come back on a weekend because the facilities are great but the amount of children vs adults/older teens is honestly hard to imagine and felt very stressful.
