    Pork and vegetables Lo Mein

This is so far the most authentic Chinese food we had during our trip. My mom and I have been craving for Chinese food for 5 days! We were driving through the county and had very few good food experiences so far. But this one is definitely a highlight.

Really great Chinese food! Pleasantly surprised by the flavor and quality Recommend the shrimp lo mein!

Sesame chicken, too many small pieces of fried batter. Give me some chicken!

So I called ahead for takeout and the food was ready at my pickup time. I've had great Chinese food and this place is ok maybe just mediocre at best. Something different but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here more than once per year!

After the fact!!! We eat like there was no tomorrow...

We were a group of 14 - they did an amazing job in taking care of us! We had 2 sets of 6 plates... and was plenty...

Wonderful Asian food! I had the vegetable lo mein. It came with a lot of fresh vegetable in it, and sides were rice, soup and egg roll. Great egg drop soup. Husband got the spicy beef (I can't spell schuswan ), which he liked. Exterior of building is not impressive but food is outstanding! It is next to the highway and a large rest stop where we walked the dog, so it is an easy place to get off and on the highway. Wish we lived closer to this gem!

Surprisingly good. Don't let exterior put you off. Shrimp Kung Pao had fresh zucchini in addition to the usual veggies (its early June so that is in season now) which made it a fresh take on a classic for me. Friendly waitress.

It's horrible service. You have to ask him about the napkins straws separately if you're not gonna ask, they're not bring it.

The service was good and fast. Seemed like it took less than 5 min for the food to be served. Chicken lo mein was fresh and tasty.

As I mentioned before, it's never let me down in terms of freshness, quality, taste, and appropriate temperature. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. ( she's a service dog who likes to wear dresses ) her favorite French fries in the entire continental United States are here at Butch's under a big umbrella with a great view of town and the other dogs. The overall price was $45 for the strawberry and walnut salad with lobster. Ouch! My friend ordered a Cesar salad with lobster and it was $40. Including two sodas and one cup of clam chowder (for my friend) our bill was $120, not including tip. This was lunch, not dinner. Service was good. And the place has sitting outside, which is in the shade but it's wood benches that are very hard and uncomfortable. Again, food is not bad, but I don't think I will come back. Sorry!

Sandy was my server and she was great. Attentive without hovering, the kind of service you'd expect at a much fancier place. I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.

Windows give a lot of inside light, decent spacing between tables so you don't feel awkward or squished. We were seated quickly. The host and servers were all nice and checked on us regularly. We started with drinks- my wife had an Irish coffee (strong!) and I had a Bloody Mary; this thing was LOADED with celery, carrot, something pickled, bacon, etc and it was divine. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu because it had some different offerings compared to what is currently on the website so unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of what we ordered but they were both fantastic! Descriptions as follows- My wife had some kind of pork hash with 2 poached eggs and caramelized onions that was melt in your mouth delish! It was a fairly large serving; she ended up saving about half of it for a meal later. I ordered a dish that had caramelized sweet potatoes, spinach, smoked salmon, spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and an aioli - this was delightfully fresh but also filling. All the "ratios" of ingredients felt perfectly matched. Overall, if I am ever back in this area I will definitely be stopping here again!

When I arrived, I was seated right away by the friendliest hostess I've ever met! My waitress greeted me immediately and asked my preference for water (sparkling or still). She was patient during my indecisiveness about my wine choice, and offered to let me try one. If the service was great, the food was EXCELLENT. I got the prime rib of beef cooked medium rare. It was perfectly cooked, amazingly seasoned, and the best I've ever had. The veggies were crisp without being raw and the wine was a great addition. The only thing I didn't like was the potatoes because they had a weird flavor to me. Overall, 10/10 highly recommend for the ambiance, the food, the service, and the location!
