My friend booked this for our friend's bachelorette party and it was the perfect thing to do! They invite you to their bus stop location an hour before for a pre-party thing where you can drink at their bar and shop at the shop (heads up they only have porta potties so if you want to avoid using those go to the bathroom before you arrive). My friends and I chose to forgo this and arrived around 15 minutes before the bus ride. When you arrive, you check in and they give you colored wristbands that correlate with which bus you'll be going on. They also have a little beer store with seltzer, Jell-O shots, beers, etc that you can buy to bring on the bus. I'm not sure if you're allowed to bring outside drinks on the bus but if you are, I would definitely do that as it was $100 for 3 12-packs of beer/seltzers. The bus is open air, however, there is a roof covering. The day we went on it was mildly raining, and we didn't feel any of the rain. The bus is super cool it has places to store your bags, jackets, hats, etc. and has a long walkway that goes from the front to back with seats on the sides and plenty of cup holders. You're able to sit on a lower level and there's also a higher level to sit on where the cup holders are. You're allowed to stand only on the lower level seats for safety reasons. There are also lots of bars to hold onto on the bus so you can stand/dance without falling over. The bus also comes with a bartender who plays all the music and serves you your drinks. I wish I remembered our girls name, she was the absolute best!! The would play all our song requests and played awesome music just on her own. She even twerked with us at the end of the bus ride! The bus driver and bus bartender both accept tips also! As for the bus ride, it goes around the broadway vicinity for about an hour before stopping at a big bar called yee haw I believe where you can go to the bathroom and take shots if you want (for a price). Then it's another hour bus drive around broadway area again and then back to the station. There aren't really any rules on the bus besides not standing on the top seat and obviously acting within limits. Our friend group was acting a fool and our bartender never said a word. Also, we were only a group of 5 so they put us with a random other group in order to fill the bus, so heads up you might be stuck with randoms if your group isn't big enough. The 2 hours was the perfect amount of time on the bus! Not too long and not too short. read more

This was my favorite activity that we did the whole weekend, it truly was an incredible experience. Angie, the driver was such a great driver and such a hype woman! This was a weird experience to say the least... Honky Tonk is in a pretty run-down, sketchy neighborhood. It's basically a large parking lot with a big warehouse in the middle. Inside the warehouse, there are really cute murals for pictures, a bar and a lot of bachelorette-themed merch. The bathroom situation is also not great. They have trailers for bathrooms, which aren't very clean. They have your party arrive 30-minutes early, and once you check in, you have some time to take pictures, drink and shop. We booked the party bus a few months ahead, and it was originally BYOB. A week before our tour, they changed the rules and we were no longer allowed to bring our own drinks. Instead, we had to buy full cases of drinks from Honky Tonk and the options were extremely limited. They had very few beer selections and seltzers. Of course, the prices were marked up. A case of eight High Noon's was $25. Once we got on the bus, the sketchy feeling subsided. We had a great driver, Ms. Sherri, and we had an awesome bartender/DJ, Gigi. The bus drives around for 2 hours and it does make a stop at a cute bar where you can use the restroom and buy a shot. Overall, it's sketchy, and kind of a scam, but it's worth it because the bus is a lot of fun. read more

I rented with Honky Tonk party express for a work event when our team was in Nashville. I highly recommend as they offered superior service, easy booking, amazing staff, and a great time! The area that you meet at to pick up the bus had so many photo opportunities with cute back drops. They also had a store where you could purchase snacks and they had all these fun hats and accessories. They also have a bar on the property as well so you can order drinks before you go. The booking process was super easy, did it fully online, all the info I needed was on their website and there were no surprises when we showed up! Easy peasy! The staff that checked us in was super nice and also happened to be our driver! We additionally had a bartender on board which came in handy because she was on it when she noticed people drinks running low. My coworkers and I all had a great time and extra props to our driver for driving us all up and down Broadway while the CMA's were happening! Super fun bus ride with some great stops along the way! We booked a bus for a combined bachelor/bachelorette gathering. It was an absolute blast! There was a lot of room for the 10 of us and the bus wasn't going too fast so we could stand up and walk around easily to talk to each other. Our bartender was super cool too and kept the drinks coming as we went around the city and made some stops. The waiting area at this place is pretty cool too. Lots of places to sit around and hangout while you're waiting for your bus, and there's a mini store there to stock up on drinks and snacks for your ride. read more

We chose the Honky Tonk Party Express for our last night for the bachelorette trip! We had an amazing group of gals with us including another bachelorette group. We loved our experience together, although the music was not hitting like we wanted until the very end of our bus ride. All in all it was a fun experience. The location is in a bit of a weird area, but once you're there it has cute places to take photos and relax until your bus is ready to go. The bathroom situation was a bit gross, not very clean, but it was the only choice you had until your one and only stop halfway through the ride. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a blast. We went in December when it was raining and cold. The bus had a clear plastic cover, enclosing the entire top half, and it was heated. It was the perfect setup. The venue that we met at before getting on the bus was very festive, all decorated with Christmas props and photo backdrops. Seems like anyone having a bachelorette in Nashville also does the Honky Tonk Party Express I did the Honky Tonk with my girlfriend's bachelorette crew and must say I was more impressed than I thought I would be! In order to start your experience, you need to be there 30 or so Minutes prior to to the departure in order to check in and receive wristbands. Once we received our wristbands, it felt like quite a bit of a wait before we got on our bus, from memory we started 10 minutes late. It wasn't a big deal, it just felt like there wasn't much to do except take a few photos against some of the photo ops before getting on. The experience itself was quite fun. You get to bring alcohol for your party and you have a Bar man at the back of the bus serving up your drinks throughout the night. The experience is about 2 hours total with a rest room break at the half way mark. It was cool to see the views of Nashville in a different way! Definitely a cool experience to do with a group of people! read more
