I was not quite sure what to expect when our friend booked a tractor tour for a girls/Birthday weekend. Our group had a great time, a fun way to see the city without the crowds. We were in Nashville for a birthday and did extensive research on the different tractor tours. Based on reviews and a few other things we chose Big Green Tractor. While the music was fun and the first 45 minutes we drove on Broadway and around downtown, many things were not as advertised. When I inquired about the misinformation, we were told that "the website needed to be changed." Below is information anyone booking should be aware of. 1. The Tractors are all closed up. There is zero open air. When I mentioned that every picture on their website shows their tractors being open I was told that the city passed a law last year requiring everyone to close them up and that they were the only company who complied. 2. On their website they clearly state that you can be dropped off downtown, but should be aware that it will shave 15 minutes off of your ride. When I asked for our group to be dropped off DT I was told that was not an option. That they would be immediately ticketed if they stopped. I then mentioned that it was clearly stated on the site and was told "well that needs to be changed.". Which while I understand is still misleading to patrons and not what we thought we were paying for. 3. We spent the first 45 minutes driving around downtown, stopped back at the pickup location for a bathroom break and the last hour was spent driving around the stadium parking lot. We never saw the streets again... this was also not specified on their website. I cannot count the number of porta potties we drove by in that parking lot, but it was not how any of us envisioned the end of our "tractor tour" going. 4. We were allowed to bring our own alcohol, but it was held up front in a cooler. This part I understand from a legality standpoint, but when we walked up to get drinks we were not allowed to look in the cooler at what we still had left. We were simply told the number of drinks we had left. When one of the people on the tour with us looked in, she was yelled at and scolded like child. It was wildly inappropriate, but honestly that's how we're were spoken to from the beginning. It is safe to say this vibe caught everyone off guard. 5. Lastly, when we boarded the tractor we were told to be quiet so we could go through the rules, but again, we were basically yelled at like children. To be quiet, "the longer you talk the longer we sit here"...btw...we were not talking loudly, there were just 30 human beings in a small enclosed spaced. Oh and this group spanned many age groups. Twenties, forties, fifties and sixties. All in all...the experience is a fun idea, but we would not use this company again. read more

I seriously can't say enough good things about this company! We had such an amazing time, and this was by far one of our favorite memories while celebrating our friends bachelorette weekend. There are so many different tours to choose from in Nashville, I did a lot of research before making our reservation. I didn't want to do the pedal bike because it was too hot, and we wanted to be able to dance. The honky tonk one just seemed too wild, and we didn't want to share the bus with other people (especially another bachelorette party). A lot of the other tours also didn't have any shade above you, which concerned me. And some of them won't let you bring your own alch. When I stumbled across The Big Green Tractor Tours, they had everything we were looking for! We booked a private tour with 10 of us and it only ended up being about $50 per person. If you are on a bachelorette party, I highly recommend doing the private tour. It was well worth it! I loved that we got to be pulled around town by a big green tractor, and it made for a super cute group photo! There was plenty of room to dance in the middle, plus stand on the benches & dance. There is also a charger port on the drink holder if you need to charge your phone (just bring your cord). The tractor also has a canopy above your head during the day time, and at night, they fold it up. We took the 6:30pm tour which was perfect! We got to see part of the town while it was still light out, and then also got to enjoy an hour of the night life. It was the perfect start to our night Before the tour started, we made reservations across the street at Party Fowl. Their food was amazing, and it was a quick walk across the street. The parking lot that they pick you up in is at the Frugal liquor store, so you can buy your drinks before you head on the bus. When you get on, you just give them all your drinks and they put them in the cooler bar. Throughout the night, the bartender kept handing us refills. The BEST part about the tour was the amazing crew! Ronny, Ricky, Cod, ya'll are so amazing! From the second we met them, they treated us like family and made sure we were well taken care of. Ronny is the DJ and "Mom" of the tour. She made sure we got all the group pictures we needed, and made sure to keep the dance floor poppin. She was more than happy to play any song requests we gave her. We listened to a mix of hip-hop and country. Ricky and Cod were like our protectors on the bus, and made sure we were safe when we had to take a bathroom break. They walked the girls to the restroom and made sure no one messed with them. read more

Did the Big Green Tractor Tours ride half way through our amazing trip to Nashville. Ricky and Ronnie provided the highlight to our trip. Such a good time! Pumped our playlist and danced our way down broadway. Booked individual 4pm tickets for a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette and ended up having the whole tractor to ourselves! Was so excited to see they offered public tours. We booked one last minute and had a blast! There were 2 groups of us on the tour and after the music started we became one whole group!
